I actually find it somewhat impressive. Usually new editions are met with grumbling but 7th was such a massive shitpile that people actually look forward to 8th.

Stormed out of my FLGS yesterday after people there refused to accept my mixed Nid/Guard/Space Marines army. I showed them the screencaps of the indexes and how since they all had my custom name in the keyword section it was legit. They all said lol fuck no and refused to accept my Wu Tang army.
Have any other Wu Tang players faced discrimination like this? GW really needs to release a statement affirming the Wu Tang playstyle so we don't have to deal with this.

Built a Punisher cannon from my Demolisher kit. I figure I don't need to rebuild another Leman, I can just swap the turret on one of the models that I won't really use this edition.
My cat destroyed 6 in progress Heavy Weapons Teams so I rebuilt them. Broke apart a Scion to make a second Tempestor Prime with a rod.
Gonna prime a bunch of stuff later tonight. Also gonna pick up another Vostroyan squad tomorrow. I bought one pre-8th leaks and got a Lascannon and 3 Plasma guns thinking that because it's only -1 BS for heavy weapons on the move, I could have a decked out Veteran squad. After the leaks I decided I didn't really want that squad anymore. So now I'm going to make them both infantry squads with Heavy Bolters and a Plasma Gun.
Then I'm going to turn my previous 3 Cadian infantry squads into 30 more Conscripts so I can have 2 squads of 30.
I'm just glad they're stronger than 'umies now.
