Is John Wick 2 any good or a repeat of the first one?
>repeat of the first one
You make it sound like its a bad thing, its the same as the first one but better, everything's bigger, the action is better and it never stops.
Awesome movie, easily the best action movies in the past decade.
The first one had a shit story
>muh dog!
If the second one is about his pet gerbil then I don't want to watch it.
It's as deep as it needs to be.
>had a shit story
Then you missed the point of the movie, its not about a story, its an action movie where the action takes the spotlight. It never pretends to be anything but a well done 100% pure action movie and it accomplishes it perfectly.
No one cared about the story, the story is just there to give an excuse for the ass kicking parade thats about to happen.
Ok, I'm gonna be totally useless and recommend this movie. Samurai Rauni. Finnish tragicomic samurai movie about minmaxed combat only samurai that ruins everyones life in the seaside town of Pori. It's pretty new and they did some international showings but I don't know if you can get it (easily) outside of Finland. But if you ever get the chance to watch it, do it.
>As if we didn't have enough angry Finns already
The Fall was recommended to me several years ago by an elegan/tg/entleman so I always pay it forward.
I'd argue it's better than the first movie. It lacks some of the brevity and it's not as tight a film, sure, but it's also just better in most technical ways and is in my opinion more re-watchable.
>Immediately read that as elite squid
>cephalod-based special ops team
>who's calimari now, motherfucker?
If you wouldn't go John Wick for your dog, you ain't a man user.
kelly's heroes
>cut a deal with the enemy for personal profit
>republican
Nailed it.

Speaking of old war movies, these are a fucking classic
>>Immediately read that as elite squid
"You're fired, Johnson! Hand in your firearms, all 4 of them!"

and the remake The Magnificent Seven youtube.com
Fury Road would like a word about that.
We need better quality low-quality B-movie recommendations:
More finnish movie shit. This is how we handle the zombie apocalypse:

It was ok
"And the 4 hidden ones holsterd on your walking tentacles."
all the old 1970 dark American animated stuff is cool for it's time
It's an interesting horror movie, and a valuable lesson in not touching ancient artifacts.
Especially if it leads to a dimension of terrible torture enthusiasts.
We used to have some nice livestreams on Veeky Forums but they disappeared for some reason.
Well, here's the full Gandahar on the tube:

It's like the perfect Veeky Forums + /d/ movie. Since we're /d/ lite, or used to be.
Some many games where that damm box shows up LOL
Why does every one say he did it all for his dog? This was a cold blooded killer that found something one thing in his life to make him want to go straight only for him to lose her with nothing he could do to stop it. The dog was the last tie he had to her and the only thing that was keeping him good. When he lost that all of the rage he had bottled up erupted and he actually had someone he could direct it towards.

Whoaaa, that's deep, man.

The first movie about machine rebellion. It's slow compared to what we're used to nowadays.

A good adaptation of Lovecraft's story.

Did you like the Thing? In the Mouth of Madness? This one is for you then.

This one has a great premise, but it failed in the second half. Consider seeing it only for adventure inspiration.

The kind of actionless yet great sci-fi narrative usually found only in books.
She had good taste ,,,,,,
BTW Fallout came from this type of movie
Hah. I read the short story and the movie had some bizarro scenes. Fucking Harlan Ellison.
Looks cool
I'm surprised you liked it at all. It was ok in Norwegian, but I doubt the humour and references translated well.
>Colossus
>Whisperer
>The Void
Good choices.
Never gotten to play a true Human hunting monster game. It a true monster hunter movie and I like it for that

Outstanding B movie.
With Kyle MacLachlan?!? I gotta see this.
Thanks, anonymous internet friend!
You're welcome user. It's a bit of a gem.
Fury Road was an instant classic and about 1000x better than any John Wick movie will ever be.
>not posting the much superior trailer
>Kavinsky
Noice.
The Lion in Winter is mandatory viewing. 1968 version only.
Good tune, but doesn't really show you anything about the movie.

I don't know what qualifies a movie as Veeky Forums related, but this song is in my soul forever.
I love Troy for no more reason that you see actual spear and shield combat.
Indeed. Plenty of other movies out there.
Thread needs more silly player character antics
