I'd say depends on their intelligence level, honestly.

Do they live in groups? Is there a social hierarchy between them if so? What are their prey? Are they capable of some problem solving?

Wild? Lizardlike. Domesticated or comfortable around someone? Catlike with varying degrees of affection based on dragon type and how much they like you. Very close bonds lead them to sit on people's heads, them considering you their favorite treasure. This can be troublesomw if said person already has a mate who, to the dragon, is seen as a threat against its horde.

that's just adorable

contrary to popular belief, lizard intelligence is on par with birds and mammals, they can problem solve, learn from watching each other, etc.. The main difference is that reptile brains don't produce oxytocin which is what is widely considered to be the chemical than forms relationships, (birds produce some other chemical instead I forget what it is called).

Biggest factor would be if the dragon is an ectotherm or endotherm. If ectotherm, then a lizard. If endotherm, then probably a bird.

Yes.

Yes.

Mentality changes with size.

It's not directly size, but for some reason there is a strong correlation. However, there are always exceptions like with little anoles like this puerto rican anole which is confirmed to be capable of problem solving

None of the above. They should behave like dogs - i.e. total bros who just want to hang out with you and get food and pets. Unless they have human-level intelligence or above, in which case they should have as much variation in behavior as people do.

Dragons are modeled after dinos which are kin to birds so they should behave like birds.
Birds vary in behaviors and because of that you can create dragon species that act like pidgeons and some that act like crows or parrots.

So the main issue is that dragons are not domesticated so they would be more lizard or bird like. That is not to say lizards and birds can not be affectionate but you have to work on your relationship with them, it is not something breed into them from years of selective breeding.

Might be true on the term but a lot of reptiles can form some form of bond. Tegus in particular are basically lazy dogs with scales.
