Warmasters Triumvirate XVII

Balanced Crunch Edition

Warmasters Triumvirate is an attempt at creating yet another 40k AU. The Primarchs have changed, and instead of appointing a single Warmaster upon returning to Terra, the Emperor leaves the Great Crusade in the care of three of his sons. This eventually culminates in a civil war between Loyalists, Chaos Traitors and Separatists...

'Ere we go again.

What we were talking about?

I think it might be useful to talk about the sort of things that each fork does on the Ullanor Crusade, since right now we have the Emperor rushing towards Ullanor itself with the Gunslingers, Titan Marchers, Custodes, and a massive contingent from the Imperial Army (I'd assume.)

Who is on each Warmaster's flank?
Wherever Gyahdred is, he's close enough to Je'She that Je'She orders him to protect some humies.

How about we add some legions to the Ullanor campaign that aren't represented that much yet? Maybe get some Iron Guard or Sovereign Host in here. We gotta get some love for the other guys in there.

Is it just me or is the order on the spreadsheet fucked up?

How so?

It's all out of order.

Oh yeah, wow. Shit's all scrambled.

Huh, wonder what happened.

Probably a troll.

Is there a way to revert the spreadsheet, or does it have to be done manually?

Well, I guess while we're thinking about the spreadsheet, I could really use some solid feedback on the two stories I wrote earlier regarding Emil talking to the Magos/Navigator.

Those are eventually going to be the foundation of much of Emil's actions immediately post-Nikea leading into the Heresy, so it's very important I get that set up in a way the group deems acceptable.

Any chance yall could help me out there?

The Dreadnaughts thing was more to do with Lambachs obsession with eternal life, it's in the tactics section and the Great crusade section of my document and is what Nurgle uses to convert Lambach. That's the main reason I went with it and the why I gave Lambach that master of undeath title, and yes I'm aware that there is not an infinate supply of Dreadnaughts but Lambach went out of his way to obtain them. Apart from that aspect I wanted CoH to be pretty Vanilla while loyal because all of their army buffs come after they turn Nurgle.
Side note too my main army is Imperial Fists so I have an abundance of Devastators.

Yeah, I get you. Still, Dreadnaughts are more akin to gear than "special rules".

Aside from turning themselves into robots, how do the CoH try to "live forever"? That seems like the place to go in order to find rules.

Hmm it's hard to convert to table top rules without breaking the game sometimes though. Especially if your deliberately going for a Vanilla feel, which is why there is so much love / hate for Space Wolves.
Example: Raven Guard can take Assault marines a troops, Flavorful and not so OP, White Scares can use Jink 5+ on their bikes, which is nice because all bikes get +1 toughness. Wolves get Thunderwolves instead of bikes for only 5 points more and they get +1A, +1S, +1T, +1W and rending. Also all of thier power weapons are an additional +1 strength just because. See the point I'm trying to make here? I really don't want the Chosen to operate too far out of the lines, but the Dread theme I personally think fits nicely for them and isn't game breaking cause 7thed Dreads are A) Kind of crappy and B) very expensive points wise, so you probably still won't be taking too many of them.

With Hecate being one of your inspirations, seems like "Medicine" would be a flavorful route to take. Start like Isha, end like Nurgle? Something to do with Apothecaries? Frequent use of vat-cloned limbs?

(Repairing Marines in the field like you would a vehicle, just staple-gun some fresh parts on and keep on rolling?)

Oooh! Maybe they got some of the tech from Rpaketsin and the XVth. It'd be a perfect way to amp up the creepy.

It's flavorful, but something that is really hard to put on tabletop without breaking the game, Considering on the tabletop the maximum number of Apothecaries you could have is 2 and they only have an effect on the command squads they accompany, It could easily be seen as unfair to allow every squad to take 1, especially because I really want them to be able to be led by weak versions of Librarians. I guess something I could say is that if I have a Sorcerer squad leader like 1000 Sons do then they can only take the Biomancy power that gives the squad "Feel No Pain".
Mostly though while these guys are my own and I love them, I'm pretty scared of going to snowflake on them and making them to overpowered, especially sine they will gain a bunch of rules once they convert to Nurgle.

Manually I guess.

Well, it is your Legion, and I can't fault you for wanting to keep powercreep to a minimum.

I've just seen "A Dreadnaught Legion" show up in literally every other Alt-Heresy, as well as half a dozen "Build a Chapter" threads over the years. Felt like you were selling yourself short a little bit is all.

I honestly do appreciate the feed back mate, and maybe I am letting crunch affect my fluff a bit too much. I'm unsure, I haven't been involved in any of the other AU's, I really don't know much about them. The Idea of the Dreadnaughts was that it had a good way of connecting the crunch and the fluff while Lambach was Loyalist to make him kind of a Necromancer, something that he takes more to the extreme when he goes to Nurgle, then the dreads will start to fall away because they have no access to new ones and they also don't die, really.
For the most part though wanting them to go the Vanilla route to start with I think less is more, so I'm happy with a simple unit swap and Librarian squad leaders as their only real chapter special rules. I do have to have a think about exactly how to make them fair once they go Nurgle.

I think we need to upgrade this picture, No idea what the color scheme for Emperor's Dragoons actually is.

Yeah, we actually are missing the Ussar and phantoms as well.

I think we're missing quite a few anons as well. I'm hoping we pick up again during the work week.

Alright, let's assign the Soaring Host to Marduk and the Iron Guard to Aristide.

This gives us 8 legions involved at the moment.
I recall Pacha being there and the Questor's Wardens get no love, so we can stick them with Aristede or Marduk for personality conflict. And for a third, how about the Pale Hounds? This gives a total of 11 legions for the crusade.

Has it been worked out which legions are with each Warmaster?

We know the final makeup of the factions, yes. Who joins when and where is less clear.

Sorry man, I meant it in as do we know which legions are with which Warmaster during the Ullanor Crusade?

Eleven is a lot of legions in one crusade.

See True. So we can cut it to 8, initially, but I think after the emperor goes down, everyone is going to want a piece of the Orks that did it and having time for them to try (and for things to go slowly) gives time for people to get pissed at each other.

I think Xun's sorting that out now.

It is Ullanor though, the biggest of them all. And we've made it bigger to KO the Emperor.

Just because a Legion is "there" also doesn't mean that all 100,000 Marines are there necessarily.

The timeline I propose, then is
>Crusade is launched, 4 prongs as discussed earlier
>Emperor pushes deep into Ork territory. Kill da boss and it collapses.
>About a year in, deep in Ork territory, the Emperor falls, as discussed previously
>his prong pulls back, triggering a slowing of the war on all fronts
>everybody digs in to figure out what the fuck is going on
>hotter heads resent this
>reinforcements are called for
>a dysfunctional family outing later, the war is over

Fuck it, time to write some random shit.

>Edict of Belisarius

Navigators are not psykers by the conventional definition, but their Third Eye can gaze across light-years to plot courses for vessels, and through close association with the Steel Souls and their unique mental abilities certain navigators of that House have honed their Eye for more close-range purposes.

When a large enough unit of Steel Souls (or their equivalent of individually stronger psykers) goes to ground and holds position, focusing on nothing but forming a temporary psychic beacon, a Belisarius Navigator upon a Strike Cruiser or Battle Barge in orbit can lock on to that signal. With a successful acquisition, unbelievably precise bombardment coordinates can be achieved, far beyond the abilities of mundane cogitators.

Not every Belisarius Navigator is capable of this feat however, and forcing Marines to hold position comes with its own costs.

>Rite of Fractured Steel

Occasionally when a Steel Soul Legionary fails in some task, their honor is so soiled that they consider themselves unworthy to be part of the Legion's mental frequencies. Most of the time such Astartes simply isolate themselves for a time of penance, or volunteer for suicide missions. The Rite of Fractured Steel is the final and blessedly rare option for Marines who feel they must answer for some terrible sin.

Tech-priests surgically alter the Marine's brain, distorting his mind-link and hijacking those abilities for the purpose of controlling a handful of drone automata. Marines that go through the Rite become their own squad, moving as one eerily precise whole. Such a warrior becomes little more than a servitor himself though, living in an eternity of agony as his consciousness flickers through multiple bodies simultaneously.

It is no small feat to tear a mind asunder, and only highly skilled Magi will even consider attempting it. Only death will free a Rite-bound soldier.

Thoughts?

I like both ideas, though I have to say the Fractured Steal thing sounds like something I was working towards with the Dusk Phantoms, albeit via different means.

Gesar Klagri was working on stuff with manifolds. As it is, the Nosferatii often have a manifold via the MIU implanted as part of their cerebro-surgery. They use it to interface with each other, Thallax, and hunter-killer drones.
Klagri sees this and sees the Skitarii manifolds, as well as the titan manifolds, and decides it would be awesome if he could get that going for the legion, but also have a single marine controlling multiple units.
On the plus end, this leads to some weird shit in the Nosferatii.
Eventually, I was thinking Klagri and Rpakestin could have horror film love children that are basically hive mind zombie marines.

Anyways, I was thinking in the long run, Klagri would naturally try to mix telepathy and technology. He is Dr. Caligari, after all. So maybe some sort of collaboration that goes horribly wrong?

(I don't see the similarity in concepts as problematic, to be clear. The functions and sources are different.)

I'm not quite sure I follow what you're asking.

So basically, that's something the XVth are already doing and one of the guys who specializes in it has an interest in psytech.
You thinking what I'm thinking?

(And people say the Dusk Phantoms are a bunch of weirdos! Bah!)

I mean maybe Gesar Klagri got to know somebody in the Steel Souls and they learned the finer points of nerve stapling and MIU manifolds from him and he got some stuff on psytech. Perhaps this is the result of Gyahdred's request for help following the disaster with his librarius in the 3rd Rangdan Xenocide.
The two Primarchs couldn't make it work time wise, so they had some of their men meet. The successes here lead to the two legions getting closer in the future, which impacts the heresy.

Well, I guess I should also have pointed out that both of those two "special units/abilities" ultimately originate from the contacts Emil makes after Nikea with the Navigators and Mars respectively. Something that evolved over time, rather than being something the Steel Souls actively pursued.

There might still be some sharing possibilities though, yeah, since what happens to both of those contacts after the Heresy is still yet to be determined.

That's fair, though why Mars, when you can go to Stovokor?
(I mean this seriously, as it's also got implications for the two legion's interactions. It may just be that Emil wants the most orthodox thing, or doesn't feel like dragging a brother into it.)

Probably the biggest sticking point would be that for the Steel Souls, undergoing the Rite is basically volunteering not just to commit elaborate ritual suicide, but also turning yourself into the worst aspects of Voldemort's Horcruxes and condemning yourself to a living hell, and then upon death you get to experience the *actual* hell that is the Warp when you die, lol.

It's not the kind of thing they talk about very much, kind of like the Blood Angel's Red Thirst and shit.

They'd probably look at the Brotherhood's request and go "why the shit would you want to do that to yourselves, this is something that only Steel Souls who are remorseful to the point of insanity undergo", lol.

The Rite has its uses, but the Legion would just as soon never enact it. It just so happens that their gene-seed and brain chemistry permits such a violation to be possible if you really put their grey matter on blend.

Hmm.

Still, collaboration seems possible, I'm just not sure what the Brotherhood would actually learn from the Souls in this particular endeavor. The Rite wouldn't even be possible without Emil's gene-seed, so the techniques and procedures they develop for it probably wouldn't be super applicable to the Brotherhood.

That sounds pretty cool man. Also your other stories are awesome. I really like the way you write, and the content seems like a cool idea as well. One thing I am curious about is how Emil's project looks after the Secession and the ruinstorm

Holy shit, the Leviathan Host rules are looking like they'll be really strong...
Also, a couple things:
1) Silverish, weak Psykers is a difficult thing to make into a real downside, as with 30K lists it won't usually come into affect (generic Librarians aren't very good anyways).
2) Sadly, things like unit availabilty and gear access is an army selection modifier or Rite of War rule, not a Legiones Astartes. For the CoH, I'm thinking of giving their Dreads some buffs and giving their squads pseudo-psychic powers, their downside I'm not so sure about. Borp, you said they search for eternal life, right? Are they scared of death? If so, I can definitely work that into a rule.
Sorry if I'm sounding pushy on this

>Roger Roger
Let's say that they only have access to two or three tables. Will work on that.

The Blades can answer the reinforcements call. Another Legion can take their position wherever they are, and the Blades will still fight there.

Or maybe negative modifiers to harness or launching.

I say that they are weak because they are not fully trained as battle psykers. Their job is to find and train psykers, support the Legion as a whole in several ways, serve as astropaths, warding the lore of the Legion...
Also helping in battle with flashy stuff, but that's not their main task. Do what you want.

Also...what about giving my Apos a rule to extend their FnP to a certain radius if they don't shoot nor charge/fight?

Not really that they are scared of death, they'll die if needed. Mostly it is a mixture of 2 things. The first being that when Lambach took over there were very few marines left in the legion, so he wanted a way of "recycling" marines too badly injured to fight. Secondly Lambach believes in honouring Wisdom and Experience above all other things so keeping around Veterans in dreadnaught form do they could pass that wisdom to new generations also worked. Lambach abhored seeing his sons wasted. It was different if unavoidable to serve the imperium, but the main thing that turns him to chaos is that he saw the edict of Nikea as a needless waste of the Chosen and it flipped a switch in him.

Sounds right to me.

Also, anyone have any suggestions for a new name for Matlalihuitl? They've been changed from an aztec legion to a native American indian legion, so let's change this clusterfuck of a name. I'm trying to get into contact with him, but he's been absent for a while. Which actually leads me to my next questions:

What should be do with legions who's anons are absent? We shouldn't just remove them, so don't even bother Rokuten. I suggest we take legions with inactive anons and just start using them ourselves, handing control back over if the user does return. We shouldn't fundamentally change them, but we should feel free to bring them into events and add characters to them.

Thoughts?

Sounds fine to me

Or we could encourage lurkers to take 'control' of them and help expand them in the AU

I thought of that too, but that can create conflict when an user returns. Then again, some, like the Disciples and the like, are most likely never going to be picked up by their user.

I agree with not bothering to replace them. Except for Napoleons legion. We removed the Pillars for his legion to come in. And even made him a warmaster.
We have almost 0 info on what is 1 of our supposedly 3 most important legions.
Not even a colour scheme.
At very least I think we should consider putting Rotuken back in as Warmaster?
Or at very least advertising a few legion slots that we want people to take over. If they wish to actually change the legion what would we lose?

I agree we need much more content on the Emperor's Dragoons, but from what we've heard from him he seems like a good fit. We need to poke NapoleAnon is get more stuff done.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I do not think Rokuten is a good fit for Sep Warmaster, if only for the simple reason that I doubt the Emperor would trust him enough to make him Warmaster. Plus, Rokuten's desire for power and his attempts to get it are an important part of his character, something that's wasted when he actually becomes Head of State of the Seperatist Union.

Update: Frederick's back, so that's all g

Is he? Cool, that solves my complaining haha. I just think we need a lot more on his dudes as he is a warmaster. I like his Legion idea but we have very little to go on.

The community Legions can be a valid solution, if needed. Giving the Legion to an user who has nothing to do with the project can cause problems if the Anons return.

>2017
>Not speaking Nahuatl.

But for plebs and also matching the legions cultural stuff, I think the first question is what groups they're borrowing from. It'd be really weird, for example to have them be massively Sioux but have an Tlinglit name.

well if he's still winged it should be a name that has something to do with that.
Chayton means Falcon in Sioux so that could work.
other options include: Elsu (Flying Falcon), Gaagii (Raven in Navajo), Kangee (Raven in Sioux), Hevovitastamiutsto (Whirlwind in Cheyenne), Minninnewah (also whirlwind in Cheyenne) or Kwahu (Eagle in Hopi),

Hey guys, Sorry for being gone for so long. Anyways, here is a proposed scheme or the Emperor's Dragoons. Hope you like it, but I am looking for feedback.

Interesting. Not the direction I was expecting you to go in.
I don't think the pastel lilac quite goes with the red you've chosen.
Hmm...
I think the gloves look a bit funny even when all in pastels.

Alright! Great feedback, I was debating with myself wether or not to go with strong pastel colors, but I wanted to try it out.

While I like your take on it, I envisioned a more "royal blue".

Let me ask you this. Do you think I have too much going on?

Ah, ok! So here's a deeper royal blue.

Like it. Can you give me the color coordinates or whatever tf to that blue? Wanna play with it some, myself.

No problem, homes.
It's R55, G43, B128. Hue166, Sat 119, Lum80.
The red is R183, G84, B70, H5, S107, L119.
The white is actually just the red with the luminosity jacked.

I feel ya. I admit I do not know enough about native american culture to really know the difference, but I also feel like we shouldn't base the entire legion on a single native tribe or people's.

I'm liking Elsu, Kangee and Kwahu.

Thanks, who are you tho?

Honestly my favourites of bunch are Elsu and Kwahu. Not sure what it is about them, but they seem... Primarchy, for want of a better word.

Oh, whoops. I'm me.
Agreed. I am imagining something of a plains feel and I think the Southwest would be cool, but that may just be the Sergio Leone talking.
But I'm imagining that a movie about the Soaring Host would be all panoramic shots.
Jetbikes, speeders, flyers, bikes, assault marines.

I just realised the cowboys and indians aren't actually enemies here. Well, sort of, Khorne doesn't like Tzeentch, but still…

Then it's down to Elsu and Kwahu. Maybe some other name suggestions?

So what are you thinking in terms of their tactics and antecedents?

Since I could also see a sort of stealthy woodland legion, but I think the motifs would be totally different. (Going to file them away for next time...)

I'm thinking about the homeworld for the Soaring Host being dry. Plains and deserts and mesas.

They have desert riflemen sniper/seeker squads. Ooh, and desert mystics who carry special desert plants, sort of like the Stormseers of the White Scars.

And maybe they have an honor practice akin to counting coup, though I don't know how that would work.

They are the Tzeentch legion, so they're pretty much required to make use of some Psychic powers.

I'd like to see them make use of bikes too, as well as neatly decorated Jump packs and planes, just to keep with that bird aesthetic.

So… shamanistic warriors who combine their psychic powers with fierce rushdown combat. Add some air support and dudes on bikes and I think we're on to something.

Since Shamans typically practise divination and healing, maybe we could have some psyker apothecaries who fill a very video game style support role. Like, they use biomancy to heal wounds and buff nearby warriors. Perhaps some of them even do this on the move, riding a bike through allied lines, dispensing healing and physical enhancement to all who need it.

Sooooooo, Folks in the discord reckon we should call the primarch of the soaring host Elsu Eyanosa (what means Flying falcon of brutal death) and want to change the name of their homeworld to something more Native American sounding, seeing as it was originally just called an Aztec name for earth. Any Ideas?

That would be really cool.

Other stuff for the Soaring Host:
>the Primarch is now named Elsu Eyanosa
>The user is back
>We need a name for the homeworld.

I'm throwing up some Sioux names:
Hehaka Sapa, Black Elk
Mahpiya Luta, Red Cloud
Thashunke Wikto, Crazy Horse
Chaoha, 'in the wilderness'
Mato Gi, Yellow Bear

Wihakayda, Land of Fire
Tsekooh Hatsoh, the Navajo name for the Grand Canyon

So, like we said out of the thread; I would like to petition that Piter be made into a perpetual. And no, not for Mary Sueness, the other writers can confirm this is a fantastic fucking plan.

I agree with him being a Perpetual. Being immortal sucks.

Eternally suffering perpetuals are the best kind

The way it's being done is to have Piter fighting a last stand, and finally falling. He thinks that at last, the war is over, and he can get some rest...
Then, he wakes up in the middle of a battle—scarred field, surrounded by dead bodies and with his injuries gone.

"NOOOOOOOOO"

I wanted him to be the happy primarch for a reason: nothing ruins the sweet release of death after 10,000 years of nonstop warfare like immortality.

pls help

So while we're at it, what do we want to do about the Quaestor's Wardens? Is he coming back?

And the Disciples. Last time we talked about about them as a power-metal-rock-opera. If we've got no ideas, I'm going to start making up stuff as Gyahdred invades. after his assault on the Death's Heads.

Also also, thinking Nosferatii and other such semi-dead figures in the Dusk Phantoms have a distinct color scheme. Pic related.

So who is the scariest Primarch?

Linares. Slightly smaller than Pacha, much more angry, and with a sword bigger than you.

Bye Bye, Curze!

>Clarification
Linares' character is usually joyful and friendly, but while in combat, this may change, deriving into a rage and angriness simmilar to the ones of the Angry Marines, especially when fighting against a much hated enemy, like the Gunslingers and the Orkz. Fighting against other enemies, however, his character won't change much.

Probably Gyahdred, though Isheko can be pretty damn creepy too. Rokuten is just a fucking beast as well…

Deshain, probably. The guy can convey the intended meaning of the navy seal copypasta with only a look. Combine that with the fact that he's known for being... short tempered and most mortals would probably rather have a chat with an avatar of khaine

Is Moss no longer with us?

He is, but he basically gave the ok to rework them. He's around, but we should not expect him to actively contribute.

Has anyone worked on legion timelines yet?

I started for like five minutes, then I got back to work on catching up on my Naruto backlog.

I haven't really. Still processing exactly where Emil is leading up to Ullanor and the Heresy.

I want him to be in the Eastern Fringe during Ullanor, but I also want him to be present for the Separatist Siege.

How many years of a gap is there between Ullanor and the first Siege?

Speaking of, actually, I'm thinking about Gyahdred's rampage through Yochin's worlds. I'm thinking he pushes through some civilian worlds to get to the war materiel producing worlds and legion fortress-fanes proper.
I'm thinking he bombards some cathedral worlds and releases Elver. Mostly to force the legion to divert resources to repairing the damage and rendering them unsuitable as bases.
I'm thinking he does some really shitty stuff that's for convenience.

I like Chayton and Kwahu myself.

With honorable mention to Kangee because Kangee, Aerie Keeper was a cool Magic card back in the days of yore. Dump a shitload of mana into him and suddenly every Storm Crow becomes a doomsday weapon, lol.

Ultimately the Steel Road and the Soul Wires become part of the Separatist Imperium's foundation.

The Steel Road would provide an array of Forge Worlds mostly independent of Mars, and the Soul Wires would probably see even more development with the assistance of all the Separatists' resources to build a communications network across their territory.

Neither of these would replace the Astronomicon (although strictly speaking the Seps could still use the Astronomicon since its light can't be selectively granted), but they'd go a long way towards keeping the Separatists unified enough to be a viable galactic power and not just a bunch of disconnected fiefdoms.

zzzzzzzzzz

>Legion Unique Vehicle Pattern: Land Raider Minerva

Designed to take advantage of the Steel Souls' unique Legion characteristics, the Land Raider Minerva does away with the Land Raider Phobos' paired twin-linked lascannons and pintle mounted heavy bolter, replacing them with cannons more suited to the psychic Legion. From either side of the tank extends a heavy Psycannon instead, and upon the pintle mount rides a Psilencer device.

Without the massive batteries and bulky capacitors needed to charge the Lascannons, the Minerva-pattern instead mounts a much larger engine, making it perhaps one of the fastest types of Land Raider in the Imperium. (Basically, the Crusader-pattern if the extra transport capacity went to even more engine instead)

Notably, while these weapons are powerful on their own with only the Astartes pilot to fuel them, their potency is boosted somewhat further so long as the ten-man squad remains inside, meditating to combine their strength with the driver's.

Thoughts?

Isn't this taking it a little too far?

Might be, idk.

I'm just writing shit cause I'm bored.

Any particular reason it's too much?

As I've mentioned earlier, I really like these.

I need to get on that >_<

Ah, cool. I'll do up some characters later.

So as an outline, I'm thinking:

>Enters Yochin's sectors from the area that faces away from the core, bypassing most of their major defenses.
>Crushes a few border forts with the full might of the legion
>Splits the fleet up, burning worlds as they go, each splinter making for Yochin's core-worlds. In essence, he goes Sherman on their asses.
>Gyahdred has his men go full Night Lords on a number of worlds, scaring the population into flight in hopes of triggering a panic and evacuation
>During this, Cold Ships infiltrate Nosferatii onto refugee ships
>This results in massive overcrowding and eats up the resources of Yochin's worlds. It also saps Imperial Army Regiments
>Each splinter appears to be taking a different course, so it's not clear where Gyahdred will strike.
>Suddenly fleets converge on a world and silence it.
>Gyahdred begins laying siege to the core worlds

From here I'm not sure what to do next. Yochin could rush to his people's aid, but he could also be tied up on the front.
Either way, I'm thinking the level of destruction is part of what pushes Yochin to push for power on Terra. He needs it and his legion preaches double-time to make up for the shortfall in man-power.

Gyahdred could wreck the sector and leave it in ashes, turning to open another front when the ruinstorm hits
He could be doing damage and get recalled to the front to aid things
He could be fought off by Yochin

Reminds me of the Grey Knights land raiders. I'm not sure that it would be faster, though, because the Grey Knights Vortimer patterns aren't any faster, indicating the psytec requires heavy equipment.

I mean, you got a psyker legion that uses psybernetics to bring out the psychic potential of marines, then you have a Grey Knights Land Raider that goes faster than any other Land Raider, like all the memes of the Blood Angel vehicles (Librarian Dreadnought, Land Raiders, Baal Predators) had a spoiled love child.
