Give me the rest of that fucking image

The first two don't actually play games, just bitch about them.

Nerd is a meme word used to describe smart people who enjoy topically "smart" things, like the black-face vaudeville show that is Big Bang Theory. Geek is an equally meme word used to describe people who might not be as uniformly intelligent as the Nerd, but are still obsessed with topically "smart" things or, better yet, non-smart "geek" things like comic books or video games that aren't Madden or CoD.

Tabletop gamers are typically seen as being nerds or geeks, but if you pressed the issue and brought up DnD it would conjure up images of cheetos, masturbation and shame.

Google reverse image search result

"Fridge magnet"

.....huh.... ok

...

last time i heard a definition it was something like this:

nerd - someone who is very smart / well educated. someone who studies hard. could be good at math, could also be a music nerd or something.

geek - someone who's (overly) interested in some fringe hobby like gaming (or comic books, or whatever). note that "fringe" is going to change depending on time and place.

dork - someone with poor social skills, acts awkardly, can't get a date, embarrasses himself or others, possibly poor hygiene or bad fashion sense.

these three sets are by no means disjoint, and most people will have varying amounts of all three.

going by this definition a [tg] gamer is a subset of a geek, although even then it depends on how much time / energy they spend gaming or if it's just a casual hobby.

it's a nice image. it also has a filename right fucking there for you to use as a source, if you're too fucking inbred to know there's a little triangle next to the post number that will direct you straight to image search functionality via the information superhighway built by Al Gore.

What's the difference between a businessman, a salaryman, and a salesperson?

A businessman runs a business, a salaryman works for a business, and a salesperson works for a business but has specific duties relating to selling the products produced by said business.

Mine brought up simply "blond" and then the related images were all children...

...This is a new feel and I DON'T LIKE IT!

Natalie lust can't pay pizza man.

Not much.

>user's gooble decides that "searching for porn" means he wants to see pictures of little kids

Google's trying to tell you something, user. Get help.

The way I understand it is:

Nerd - A smart person with low social skills.
Geek - A person with fringe hobbies and low social skills
Dork - A person with low social skills, or alternatively (as a sorta compliment) someone lovably weird with low social skills.

Then again, pic related.

There really is no difference. They're synonymous. However, it was once described to me as this:

A Nerd likes a broad number of "Nerd Culture" topics and is primarily interested in learning. T.v., movies, music, videogames, comic books, mathematics, and more can fall under this category.

A Geek will delve incredibly deeply on one niche subject. Star Wars Geek, Computer Geek, Underwater Basketweaving Geek, etc. They have intensely deep understanding and knowledge of their subject of choice.

These are also not mutually exclusive. You can be a Nerd and a Geek (with one or more niche subjects), and in fact, I would say that most of us here are both.

>cheetos, masturbation and shame.
I see you've met my group

There's no good answer, but here's my attempt.

Nerd: A very book smart person with poor social skills, especially one with an interest in Nerd subculture.

"Matt was talking to me for two hours about his estimation of the megaton yield of a photon torpedo, what a fucking nerd."

Geek: A person with an intense interest in a hobby or activity outside cultural norms. e.g, "He is a Star Wars geek", but also "She is a musical theater geek."

Almost all nerds are geeks, and most, but not all geeks are nerds. Both have positive and negative implications. A nerd is more likely to start a Fortune 500 tech company, but less likely to get laid. A geek may be more outwardly 'normal', but may also be a piece of shit NEET who is as dumb as a box of rocks.

A tabletop gamer is someone who plays tabletop games as a primary hobby, especially ones outside cultural norms.

It's mostly a matter of nuance.
Nerds are useful, geeks aren't
Tabletop gamers are somewhere between those two.

>searching for Nerd Girl Porn
>Get some random porn star with a geeky shirt or thick rim glasses
>Not getting some unkept girl who looks cute but not perfect looking, who gives off the I haven't left my house for a week look, playing on her ds while only wearing an unzipped hoodie that shows her c-cup tits and pale snow skin. As she gets plowed by her white "bf" on a bed with Pokemon sheets.
>mfw

Much like "what can magic do" and "how do I play X alignment" there is no meaningful, objective answer.
However you can bitch over semantics, try finding some outdated origin of the term, make up your own entirely subjective personal meaning and defend it or use some temporary popular definition.

I feel you brother.

tease

...

Add "amateur", mate.

Or "homemade."

Or to really expand dong, "cosplay".

Although expect that last one to include tons of shitty porn star dressed in Party City cape hero costume stuff.

>unkept
It's "unkempt", user.

>Geek
Someone who enjoys a particular hobby to an unnerving degree, but said hobby is often fringe and has low opportunity of financial reward. This is offset by generally good social skills around like minded folks.

>Nerd
Studious, practiced, mechanical, but often totally devoid of normal human interaction. This is "that guy" who did math homework for fun and was utterly humourless about it. Generally smarter than a geek, but also significant less fun.

>Dweeb
A geek/nerd with terrible social skills AND fringe interests in a hobby. This is the person who likes nerdy/geeky things, but doesn't obsess about them and is generally milquetoast.

>Dork
A normal person with strong social skills and a passing interest in nerd/geek culture. This is the type of hot girl who wears a "proud to be nerdy" shirt ironically, and knows enough about the culture to be knowledgeable, but is rarely insightful.

>Oldschool Nerd
This is a wide rage of people, but in general it's characterized by nerdy and geeky obsession simultaneously. They can be further subdivided into neckbeard, and all the applicable tropes of uncleanliness, or "normal" which is someone who grew up when it was socially unacceptable to be a geek/nerd and conceals their power level.

There are many nerds with great social skills

The size of their male or feminine penises

Who the fuck cares?

To me;

Nerd: someone who enjoys activities such a wargaming, dnd, video games, board games, along with similar vain activities. Has fairly respectable knowledge of their hobbies

Geek: all of what makes a nerd but with the added edition of being intellectually smart, an extensive almost unhealthy level of knowledge of their hobbies.

Table top gamer: someone who mostly is there for the table top gaming aspect, shows some interest in the lore but does not share this interest with most or keeps it on the dl. Usually your WAAC players

The first two are insults and anyone who refers to themselves as one is a wanker, the third is a person who plays games on the tabletop.

Armature just gets me normal looking girls in the thick rim glasses. Homemade sounds like a great suggestions. Also cosplay is fine, but I am trying to find the nerd gf simulator porn.

Name's in the fucking file you scua faglord

A nerd is socially inept and possibly stupid. Last, like, 15 years it's become a synonym for geek, though.

A geek is someone who is obsessive, usually about a single topic which they are an expert in, and are usually but not always socially inept (so like a nerd except smart instead of dumb).

A tabletop gamer is someone that plays tabletop games. Most of them are nerds, a lot of them are geeks, a lot of them are just people who play tabletop games and are otherwise "normal" or at least socially adept.

This is what I've always used.

You've got nerd and geek mixed up there, kiddo.

Nope. Note
>Last, like, 15 years it's become a synonym for geek, though.
Though the first time I saw this mentality spelled out was from John Green via an ex who was into his weird "nerd" cult (where he defines "nerd" as "someone who is enthusiastic about something"), which I'm pretty sure is a recent thing, I know I saw the two being used interchangeably before that. Nonetheless, geek is the smart one while nerd is purely a pejorative term for the socially inept (geeks can be nerds but not all nerds are geeks).

But a girl that is actually playing the game while being plowed is a big turn on for me.

Imagine her playing Europa IV while reverse cowgirling.

wew.

Talk about multitasking.

...

She's probably gonna be really good at RTS, if she can manage something as micro as your dick.

I'm proud of the mini.

It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it.

That makes it even better
Hey we are just trying to have a fun time, this Paul Latza image is for you

I agree. Nerd term is used more in video gaming culture.. But it's not actual nerd definition. Just very sugar coated to make people feel hip and cool..

That meme sucks so I'll give you a really dated one in return.

Nerd = Veeky Forums freak
Geek = /g/ freak
[tabletop] gamer = same as Nerd

>Europa IV
I was with you on the realistic nerd girl until that. You should have said Harvest Moon or something.

I exclusively date girls that play Dominions.

I didn't realize how much I wanted this until now

A nerd has real, measurable knowledge with useful (if somewhat socially abstract) applications (math nerds, science nerds, etc)
A geek has realish-knowledge about some kind of system or method, usually in a slightly more sociable context (board game geeks, bicycle geeks, etc)
A dork knows a lot about something entirely useless (television shows, anime, video games, etc) A dork almost exclusively consumes media, never contributes to it.

>As she gets plowed by her white "bf"
I find it extremely sad that nowadays we need to specify this to counter all the cuck fetishits that have infested this place.

>not wanting to fuck a woman while she begins to dominate europe.
>not wanting to nut as France capitulates
Come now, user.
Come now.

the whole fetish seems weird to me.
>sex is fucking great so.
>so they jack it in a corner using their own tears a lube while some faggot fucks their significant other.
Seems counter productive

hey, somebody has got to pay her latest games and it certainly won't be her black bull

Harvest Moon is good. Europa is even better.

Harvest Moon is to middle school as Europa is to a university.

Your brain would have a headache of it's own with Europa.

Who doesn't want that? Just not realistic, user. Girls don't play 4x games.

Have done it while she played Left 4 Dead though

>that spoiler text.
not the worst taste my dude. The only girl i've dated who liked vyda was into meme VNs and hated old source games.

Stay strong with the knowledge that you do not suffer alone, brother.

Nerds have academic knowledge. They knows the theory and history of a field, and likely keeps up with new developments and findings. This is because they generally hold the field in high regard. Among fans of a specific field, they're keepers of information.

Geeks have practical knowledge. They're often self-taught and may not understand much beyond that one thing they have a knack for messing with and improving. They mostly do this for the hell of it. Among fans of a field, their role is to challenge and change what is set is stone.

What about just the obsession?

Then you're just labeled obsessed until we have more detailed knowledge of your hobbies and interests.

Maybe you could map it on 3 axes.
>Smart (Intelligence)
>Weird (Social Awkwardness)
>Eccentric (Obsession with Odd Topics)

So someone who was just obsessed with things would be an eccentric.

Banged an ex while she played Feeding Frenzy on 360... Weird at first, but strangely aroused everytime she would play that game..

Why are we here? Just to suffer?

Geeks like fluff and doing stuff because they find it to be cool, they happen to like stuff that is connected to nerd-stuff.

Nerds make charts on the internet to separate the differences between different groups in society because to them it is the process itself that is important, not the actual result.

Fuck, I will admit to laughing at that one.

a nerd is someone who is smart as fuck and succeeds in life like being a hot shot chemist.

A geek is just someone with an autistic hobby

tabletop fags are just drama nerds who dont enjoy videogames

I would not say average P&P roleplay really qualifies as drama. LARP might.

Top zozzle mate-o, have a (you)

>shit grammar and perpetuating the obnoxious cuck meme
Back to /pol/, friendo.

It's an extremely niche fetish even here, it became a meme because of the controversy surrounding GG and the fact that it came out that moot MIGHT have been with a girl he knew was cucking him that also worked for the media bogeymen. It's almost practically irrelevant now, but because it coincided with the first gasps of the 2016 american presidential campaigns, it became tied up with Trump support that began here because it was silly (and /b/tards and /pol/lacks loved what trump was preaching but were also naive young adults that believed he would actually make good on anything he promised).

Because /pol/ is a virus that has infected the rest of the board because of the whole "meme magic" thing (ie treating something that actually functions as a social virus as a cultural cornerstone to be emphatically and dogmatically supported), it has spread to and taken root in the rest of Veeky Forums. And a lot of reddit retards see flooding the porn boards with cuckolding as some kind of revenge for Trump getting elected, as they once saw it as a form of Hillary support (which is oddly fitting).

On an actual, cultural level outside of Veeky Forums, the fetish is extremely rare, only pushed in a positive light in edgy (correct usage of the word, not CRAWLING) publications intended to generate ad revenue (through clickbait, because that's how ad revenue works now due to the way the internet itself works), in other words sensationalist article headlines like "KEKOLDING: THE THINKING MAN'S FETISH" meant to draw ire and intrigue. In more traditional terms, cuckold heroes in literature are common because it makes them an absolute underdog, drawing sympathy if not empathy from the audience and making it feel much more empowering when they overcome, finding (importantly) faithful love interests and defeating or assimilating their enemies (usually the "bull" that stole their woman).

user, I did not need these feels right now...

I feel like geek is the more insulting term, since it's origin is the live animal eating, self mutilating, side show freaks, so it's more straight up "You're weird and disgusting."

Only nerds know the origin of the term "geek".

A nerd is someone who is obsessive about some particular thing, usually an academic discipline or hobby. To exclude edge cases, add 'to the exception of most other things' to the end of that definition, and require that they be at least above average at whatever they're obsessive about.

A geek is someone with unconventional interests and poor social skills. The term is mostly dead now that pretty much everyone has a hobby that used to be called geeky, and is mostly used nowadays by clickbait writers that mostly concern themselves with forcing their retarded political views into whatever meme game is getting pageviews at the moment.

A [tabletop] gamer is someone who plays [tabletop] games on a regular basis.

My dick.

will never be inside her

Yeah I know, but it's the difference between a nerd, a geek, and a tabletop gamer.

>a foolish or contemptible person who lacks social skills or is boringly studious
>an unfashionable or socially inept person
>a person who plays tabletop games
Different but with a lot of overlap.

I used to have my girlfriend sit on my face whilst playing fallout 3. Good times.

I'd say that's actually one thing they all have in common.

Thanks.

One of my favorites was when I reverse image searched some hardcore lesbian bondage porn and it gave me "friendship"

She retired too soon, she was super hot

Might be a language thing, but within my country I've never heard the word "nerd" outside of the context of someone above average obsessed with something, regardless of what it is.
"Geek" tends to be a technology specific term covering the same ground as "nerd".

Anyone who diffirentiates is either old enough so they were young when it mattered (60's-70's) or a nu-* who is sooooo geeky/nerdy/whatever because big bang says so.

The first two were just catch-all insults to non-regular people who were smart and/or had non-regular interests.

LARP is full of drama.

>I used to have my girlfriend sit on my face whilst playing fallout 3. Good times.
How could you see the screen?

>Nerd
Alienates others but is book smart
>Geek
Alienates others but is not necessarily smart at all

Ops image doesn't even happen in the video unless there is a top secret bonus footage edition of Natalie lust fucks pizza boy.

>Not removing her clothes while she removes kebab
Do you even Byzantium bro?

Nerd: A word in some dialects for an idiot/fool who won't shut up.
Geek: Someone who eats things that shouldn't be eaten, for money, at a carnival

Those are the shoot pictures, taken and sold separately.

that's some high grade autism in that post my dude but i appreacte it.
Mnemonically I'm not unaware of it's origins
I don't think GG had anything directly to do with it and i had experience with the start of the meme given my short migration from here. Still can't name the place with out it being spam anyway.
I did mostly stay out of /gg/, and it's 3 different permutations but from what i remember it had more to do with Sweden and it just sort of replaced fag thanks to /pol/'s influence. which is why i think that it wouldn't have pettered without the god emperor and kek, it was basically fag and when everything collapsed and most of us wandered back some of those fags probably brought KEK with them
And doesn't meme magic date back to /s4s/? it seems like something they'd do with their repeating digit noticing.

>And a lot of reddit retards see flooding the porn boards with cuckolding as some kind of revenge for Trump getting elected, as they once saw it as a form of Hillary support (which is oddly fitting).
that is the best thing i've ever heard and i'm not even a burger.
my sides are in orbit

what i mean is the fetish itself makes no sense intuitively, biologically or emotionally.
it's like these people want to be hurt

Okay so first of all, the reason Google returns "refrigerator magnet" when you reverse image search is because, apparently, some guy is selling fridge magents with this picture on it on ebay. I can't even, but let's move on.

The girl is Natalie Lust, title of the video seems to be, "Can We Work Something Out?" But if you search for "Natalie Lust pizza guy" you'll probably find it. The premise is a girl orders pizza, doesn't have enough money, pays with sex. Here are some stills, although there might be more out there

barelist.com/gal_22978_tgp/natalie-lust-031014.html

and here's full vid in decent quality

hd-porn.me/can-work-something-natalie-lust-team-skeet.html

Premise was cliché 30 years ago, the acting isn't good even by porn standards, the guy is to loud, the girl has an ugly flappy pussy and kind of a fat ass, and the vid ends in one of those cop-out surface creampies. Solid 7/10 video; fappable, but you won't miss anything amazing by skipping it.

Geeks aren't nerds, nerds aren't geeks, but nerds and geeks can be tabletop gamers, but not all tabletop gamers are nerds and geeks.

>tfw you'll never have well-written/acted/shot porn where the writing and plot give you a love of the characters that makes the sex a million times hotter

>cuck started on 2016

No, user. You're new. You don't understand. Cuck migrated from the /tv/ shithole in late 2014 and picked up a ton of steam after GG. The whole site pretty much went full /pol/ and we've been dealing with the aftermath of all the shithead poltards and normies the scandal dragged here.

>it's a "newfag knows exactly when Veeky Forums went bad and it has nothing to do with him or his ilk, he swears!" episode

It's okay to be new, user. We were all new once.

Ugh, a brown-eyed redhead?

Hard pass.
