Veeky Forums is way more right leaning than, say, I don't know, fucking reddit. More accurately, it is more Libertarian. We have a long memory for the shit the right tried to pull on our subculture in the 80's onward, even if lately it has been the left trying to ram their shit down our throats and curtail what we can or can not think or say.

Frankly, I've had this experience with a writing podcast I returned to after years of not listening to it. It used to be neutral, just about writing, and suddenly it's namedropping left wing politics and linking to a Tumblr page that legit has it in for white people.

Maybe it's because those episodes were from 2015, when the Hugo awards completely blew up (the podcast has a sci-fi/fantasy focus), but either way I didn't like it. I'm not some hairtriggered little shit, but when people drop political shit every single episode, I'm not cool with it.

And the worst part was, when one of the guests starts talking about his experiences in Africa... he doesn't mention African people even once. The dude climbed a mountain. Africans carried his shit all the way to the top. You'd think he'd give them a shoutout.
