...

I dunno, it seems Marty just couldn't understand he was hurting anyone until he himself was hurt. Then he actually became a good day.

For like an hour or two at least.

I want to murder the faggots who stole her money after claiming she must have stolen it.

what manga?

>Rick
>Anything but Chaotic Neutral

>destroying entire worlds for no reason
>neutral

Sure thing, kiddo. I bet you think he's not evil because he 'loves his grandkids' or 'is secretly depressed' or some other horseshit too.

>2017 and 1/2
>Still using alignments

When will the DnD/Pathfinder cancer finally be cured?

He's extremely selfish. He does things solely for his interests. It's either something he wants or to the benefit of someone he likes, and that's it.

>Paulie the most loyal made man in the show by a LONG shot.
>Chaotic

He was a ruthless sociopath but he the only way he could have been more fanatically loyal is if he started a fucking religion.

Oh sweet child of summer

Marty is the most evil one there.
Daily reminder brad did nothing wrong.

Paulie Walnuts isn't chaotic evil, you stupid fuck.

Ralph Cifaretto is chaotic evil.

>'is secretly depressed'
There's nothing secret about Ricks depression user. He just channels it into dicking with the multiverse.
I do agree he's chaotic evil though.

Not so fast, Morty, you heard your mom, we've got adventures to go on, Morty. Just you and me, and sometimes your sister, and sometimes your mom... But! NEVER your dad! You wanna know why, Morty? Because he CROSSED me. Oh, it gets darker, Morty. Welcome to the darkest year of our adventures. First thing that's different? No more dad, Morty. He threatened to turn me in to the government, so I made him and the government go away. I replaced them both as the de facto patriarch of your family, and your universe! Your mom wouldn't have accepted me if I came home without you and your sister, so now you know the REAL reason I rescued you. I JUST TOOK OVER THE FAMILY, MORTY! And if you tell your mom or sister I said any of this, I'll deny it! And they'll take my side, because I'm a hero, Morty! And now you're gonna have to do whatever I say, Morty! Forever! And I'll go out and find some more of that Mulan Szechuan teriyaki dipping sauce, Morty! Because that's what this is all about, Morty! That's my one-armed man! I'm not driven by avenging my dead family, Morty! That was FAKE! I'm driven by finding that McNugget sauce! I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty! That's my series' arc, Morty! If it takes nine seasons! I WANT MY MCNUGGET- DIPPING SAUCE- SZECHUAN SAUCE, MORTY! IT'S GONNA TAKE US ALL THE WAY TO THE END, MORTY! NINE MORE SEASONS, MORTY! NINE MORE SEASONS UNTIL I GET THAT DIPPING- SZECHUAN SAUCE...FOR 97 MORE YEARS, MORTY! I WANT THAT MCNUGGET SAUCE, MORTY!

rick is practically an evil god according to season 3
the man does what he wants
and doesn't care about the rules and that seems pretty CE to me
>secretly depressed
i don't think that's secretly

I mean it looks like ShindoL but I've not read a ton of those.

it's ShindoL. ANd it's a bad one. Stay away

ShindoL, title is Henshin: Emergence. I'm gonna be honest, I could only fap to it at the beginning, and as it went on I felt worse and worse for it.

As a work of literature, I think it's great. Definitely read it.

I'm getting mixed signals here. is this like that "one only tells the truth and one only lies" riddles, only if I get it wrong I'll need brain bleach?

Would Rick count as CE? I'd call him CN since he does what he wants and only fucks over people who fuck with him.

You're going to want brain bleach on the last few chapters. It goes downhill pretty fast after her father rapes her, then she fucks some playboy, then becomes a hobo cumdumpster.

The girl, pregnant, dies of an overdose in a back alley, her last thought being a hallucination of a happy life with her unborn child.

I wouldn't say Rick is chaotic evil. He's definitely more chaotic neutral, or possibly even chaotic good (but that's yet to be seen, depending on how the next season plays out and we find out more about what the galactic government is like)

It's really fucking sad, and if you have any semblance of a conscience, you're going to feel bad after you finish jerking it.

Be warned.

It's something he tries to have hidden from the other characters. I can't recall if Morty ever acknowledges it.

wow, that's super dark. I knew ShidoL did fucked up porn, but I did not realize the depths of his depravity.
I'm not sure if Sonic is Chaotic Evil or Neutral Evil.

I think you guys are understating the damages he's caused to people neutral to him and his lack of any sort of remorse for said damages.

Listen, that microverse was basically his property.

Not just that. Season 1 he exhibits a ton of reckless behavior that either could, or does, kill or otherwise disfigure huge populations of people. Maybe you could argue that he isn't doing these things on purpose and that's more Neutral, but the alignment system is really not that great anyway.

Ok…Well, sometimes science is more art than science, Morty. A lot of people don't get that.

You're forgetting the part where he contemplates going over to the New York mafia

Silvio was far more loyal

He beat a man to death for sleeping in the grass

Well, I would definitely say that Silvio was totally the most loyal, but Paulie also had a loyal streak - for the most part. There's a lot of griping, but he's generally always in.
Heck, a lot of his griping took the form of almost ocd-level complaints - 'things should be done this way, why aren't they being done this way?' - which I guess would argue towards lawful. He likes the world to work in a certain fashion, and takes issue when it doesn't.
Though, I guess I'd also accept an argument for neutral evil - as much as he wanted Columbus Day to be celebrated as it always has, he totally blew the one Saint's day.

man, the dusty is rando stuff was out of fucking nowhere and ruined the ending for me.

lol oh btw brad had a student that GOT HIS FACE FUCKING CUT OFF BY A PSYCHOPATH and brad just was like 'im disappointed in you' and no one felt the need to mention this at all when talking about his role as a father figure.

I get the impression that my assumption that 'Lisa' is shit was completely true.

It's actually pretty good, despite my beef with the ending. It's basically a really black-humored earthbound.

I dislike the ending because it seemed they were trying their damnedest to make Brad not completely in the right.

Nah man, LISA is fucking good shit.

You're shit

But did it violate the NAP

>I dislike the ending because it seemed they were trying their damnedest to make Brad not completely in the right.
yeah that kinda kicked me.
It's easy enough to have some beef with him, heavy drug use, hard knock life.
But Lisa being like BAH DAD YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ME kinda rubbed me the wrong way.
The man tried to keep her safe in a world of unscrupulous men and that last fight was a bitch.
fuck buzzio
and rando is a saint and deserved everything

wait that means you're a man who can take a lot of pain.
I couldn't really handle it, limited saves twists my nipples and snaps my neck

Unfortunately not one is CE except maybe the dubs man. LE/LN more so than CE.

>rick
>L anything
rick kinda just does what ever the fuck he wants.
that's C in a nutshell
and he doesn't care what he hurts or what he kills because morality is a spook.
It's a spook but it's E
C+E = CE
and a damn badass CE at that

>enslaves an entire world to get cheap energy and is willing to kill them all when they refuse

You clearly have no idea what the fuck you're talking about.

Rick doesn't have a lawful bone in his body. He states over and over again that the very concept of government offends him. He and bird person have committed countless acts of terror in the name of freedom above all else.

Kek

>2017
>still complaining on what other people play

>Marty just couldn't understand he was hurting anyone

I get the feeling he knew he was hurting Brad. Unless you really believe he didn't think hitting and throwing bottles at his children, and molesting his daughter as well as forcing his son to fuck her as well were hurting them.

Doesn't really fly. If he was complaining about the camps being inefficient and talking about better methodology, yes.

Is it really evil if a character does it because they thought it would be cool as fuck?

He was but I'd say Season 3 put a pretty hard turn on that to CE.

Whether you like that or not is up to you, but up until that point all the dickery he did seemed to either be against an institution or be largely incidental.

>inb4 Black Manta

>Paulie
>Chaotic
What the fuck nigger

Still hoping that the first episode of the new season was just "lol another reality" or some sort of fake out otherwise it feels like they solved everything too fast.

In what realm is creating widespread galactic chaos and destroying one of the only multiversal organizations responsible for regulating other degenerate mass murderers solving everything too fast?

Shit is going to get ridiculous for everyone now.

My problem is how they build up the Season 2 ending to be this big emotional thing where Rick realizes what he did and who he did it to in the pursuit of something that in the end was meaningless. Seemed to me like they were saying the Federation couldn't be killed, they were everywhere and Rick just ruins lives trying to fight them.

FUCKIN NOPE

He kills them all, gets away scott free, everyone loves him again, Jerry walks away, and he suffers basically no consiquences.

That's what rubbed me the wrong way, but I'm probably in the minority so I guess I'll just deal.

> in this in this thread thread

I'm hoping we see Jerry turn out better off in life without Beth and confront her with the fact that SHE was what was wrong with the marrage

>rick gives his "backstory"
>morty and summer fight over Rick
> Summer and Morty go to cronenberg world
>jerry gets a job working for the federation
>council of ricks send seal team ricks to kill everyone
>meanwhile while all this is happening theres some sort of rebellion brewing with goldenfold and other minor characters

That's a lot of shit to do in just 30 minutes.

I know the show is starting to go full cuhrazy and the writers would gloss over most of the details regardless, but I would of liked if they stretched some of these plot lines a little longer, even if they were only an episode or two long.

It'd be a sweet twist, but I have doubts. It's a comedy show at heart, and I get that it plays on how awful things are for it's giggles but having it's buttmonkey come out on top after everything is said and done just seems like it would rub a big part of the fanbase the wrong way; and I'd wager the writers know that too.

Here's hoping though, I want all the edgy teens to be forced to confront the fact Rick is genuinely awful and all of his advice is garbage.

I'm not bitter, shut up.

I hope so too. Jerry is my spiritual liege.

Rick thinks nothing matters because he keeps looking outward at the great big multiverse and honestly anything seems insignificant compared to that, which is why normal people don't spend all their time looking outward, they look in at their personal lives, but Rick is too egocentric to think such an act is anything but something for stupid people. Like Frank Miller he's an edgy teen in the body of an old man (ironic considering Tiny Rick) the kind of person who thinks any form of genuine happiness or joy is for morons.

I can appriciate the humor in it the same way I can appriciate Bojack CN?, only problem is edgy teens makin' facebook memes don't want to be Bojack.

Basically teenagers are enjoying things wrong and it's somehow all their fault.

Jerry comes out on top in subtle ways sometimes, the kind that can fly under the radar. Rick had an entire species under hive mind as a girlfriend that he could enact any fantasy he wanted and in the end he nearly killed himself, only failing because he was too drunk to pull it off. Jerry meanwhile was fussing over a weed wacker, despite that being a very simple desire, once he found it, he was visibly much happier then rick at the end of the episode

It's a really good Absurdist comedy, I'll give it that, I'm just worried that kind of cleverness will go away with the new CUHRAAAAZY plot.

Or maybe I'm over reacting.

Either way, I'd never noticed the weedwacker thing before, thanks for pointing that out to me.

Honestly, I actually thought Season 2's ending was stupid.
We've seen Rick interact with greater galactic society over and over, BUT SUDDENLY, we find out that the bug people have a ridiculous amount of control over it, AND that he's as wanted as Osama Bin Laden? Bull-shit.
Only a few episodes before this, they were in a hospital prestigious enough to have one of the galaxy's most important peacemakers getting care there, and Rick can just waltz in and fuck with the electronics and not a single person thinks to arrest him or alert the authorities.
That kind of shit makes no sense - unless R and M is still the kind of show where you resolve everything quickly and maintain the 'don't think about it' mantra. So I sincerely hope that things *are* fixed now.

You know what?
I have a real job.
I have coworkers that are like Jerry.
FUCK. JERRY.

>loyal
>made man
Nah. They would move against Tony the second they have something to gain from it. The show deconstructs the whole mafia loyalty bullshit, they are all sociopaths who would fuck each other over first chance they get.

>Picking anyone from the Lisa RPG universe to be Chaotic Evil but Lisa herself
Plebian detected

"Because Ricks hate themselves the most" it was acknowledged as in 3x1, and they worked it out with tiny rick.

He created that entire fucking universe, and the people were happy to go about their lives completely ignorant of how he was using them.

Very subtle LOSS edit you have there, OP

And I'm done.

>not on sadpanda
Is there any better site than sadpanda for that?

Normally I don't enjoy MCU, but Jessica Jones and Luke Cage were pretty good.

Kilgrave struck me as CE, and fairly well written as such

Watch it, user.
