Everyone says BTC is MySpace and ETH is Facebook - but what if BTC is Friendster and ETH is MySpace

everyone says BTC is MySpace and ETH is Facebook - but what if BTC is Friendster and ETH is MySpace...

What is the Crypto Facebook?!

No, BTC is TCP/IP

Altcoins are scams pretending they innovate or solve anything.

this

It probably doesn't exist yet.

something idiot proof, locked down and centralized

Chain Link

Blockchain is the internet.

BTC is 56k.

I predict bitflur is Craigslist

this. Facebook is really simple stuff. Myspace aloud you to write your own CSS/HTML code to design you page and shit. Facebook would just let you change the banner image.
The big facebook coin will be something anyone can utilize and sign up for.

it's going to be ripple isn't it

We haven't even seen crypto myspace yet. What we are seeing at the moment is everyone jumping the gun and thinking that the point is to make many Blockchains, when in reality that would be like back when HTTP was being developed, if people suddenly said 'Oh I need to fork http and start a company doing http related things'. The crypto space is crashing again. There's going to be a slumber of about 2 years again, and in that time the Bitcoin blockchain will emerge as the only proof of work enabled value exchange which is needed, and we will have nice wrappers over it which developers will use to enrich other Web 2.0/3.0 sites.

BTC is Napster. Popularizes the idea, but then will ultimately fail.

ETH is BitTorrent. You can't fucking stop it bitch.

And then there's XRP... which is basically the iTunes Store.

KEK

>56k
everything was better then.

Chainlink. it's data sharing for the crypto word in place of wasteful mining

lol what the fuck
bitcoin is not http
ethereum/chainlink is

Chainlink is https://

Either ARK or ICX is the facebook of crypto

Yup. If Ethereum's network is our decentralized computer, Chainlink's nodes are basically the new internet.

Right now we've got a decentralized computer with no internet access and really early gen apps that amount to a word processors, spreadsheets, and solitaire. Its kind of useful, but really not all that useful. Once Chainlink mainnet fires up and zeppelin_os gets released for dApp devs to standardize their architecture and management processes around, it'll be like going from an offline Windows 3.1 machine to an online Windows 95 machine.

We've already largely exited the novelty coin days. Now we're in the novelty sidechain days. We're starting to come into the useful for solving mainstream problems days of crypto. We've still seen nothing.

deluded mongs

you say deluded mong, I say novice blockchain dev nipping at the bud to use both chainlink and zeppelin_os. I don't even care about the value of the LINK token, I just want to start setting up nodes.

Maybe OmiseGo if it gets popular

a DAG crypto

Then by this definition, STRAT is basically Facebook with the sidechains and not having to code.
