Shadow of the Demonlord's 3 step character advancement is pretty cool.

3.x and 4e D&D probably have the most classes of any main-stream game. Legend and other games utilizing a similar track system pack a lot of character variety in less classes though, which is sorta dmirable.

I think there's a GURPS FFT game on roll20
