T'au Cadre creation thread

By the will of the Ethereals and the T'au Empire, we will roll up a T'au Cadre!

1d4chan.org/wiki/Tau_Cadre_Creation_Tables

First roll:
>What Phase was your Sept founded in?(d10)

Rolled 7 (1d10)

Rolling

3rd Sphere of Expansion

So we are a kinda recent addition to the T'au Empire

>What is the predominant terrain of your homeworld? (d10)

Rolled 8 (1d10)

Urban

Tau city boys, now we're getting somewhere

>Which tactical philosophy does your commander prefer?(d10)

Rolled 3 (1d10)

Rolled 5 (1d10)

Mont’ka, the Killing Blow – Study the enemy before attacking its weak point

My personal favorite

>Which tactic does your cadre prefer?(d100)

Rolled 75 (1d100)

Hybrid with stationary units supporting mobile ones

We are adaptive, that's pretty good

>What is the primary function of your cadre?(d10)

Rolled 2 (1d10)

Exploration of new worlds.
So we are wide eyed city boys getting to explore the big galaxy and spread communism.

>What is the Ethereal Caste presence/adherence to Greater Good?(d10)

Exploration of new worlds

Space... The final frontier. These are the voyages of the T'au Empire. Our continuing mission, to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no T'au has gone before.

>What is the Ethereal Caste presence/adherence to Greater Good?(d10)

Rolled 2 (1d10)

Higher than normal presence/adherence to Greater Good

All obey space pope!

>What is the size of the auxiliaries in the Cadre?(d10)

Rolled 2 (1d10)

Rolled 6 (1d10)

Here's to hoping we get something high enough to make enterprise jokes.

Larger than average sized auxiliary

We federation now

>What is the composition of the auxiliaries?(d20)

Rolled 16 (1d20)

what the hell is a Anthrazod?

Rolled 11 (1d20)

I don't fucking know!

I want a refund!

Apparently the Tau consider them perfect for Asteroid Mining...which implies no one asked for their opinion on this.

Ok, so we can either have The Anthrazods are kind Xenos very robust but unintelligent. They were absorbed by the Tau Empire before the beginning of the Second Sphere of Expansion , and since then have been engaged in the arduous task of extracting minerals from asteroids.

Or Hrenians are a group or species of alien that are part of the Tau Empire, or at least work as mercenaries for the Tau. Their known military body is the Hrenian Light Infantry

it sucks that so many of these besides base tau never get stated out or detailed, heres hoping the next codex includes them!...yeah right.

it makes sense for the cadre to have a mining species with them if our purpose is to explore new worlds.

Alright then, let's go with the Anthazods then

>What is the Cadre's preferred enemy?(d100)

Rolled 2 (1d100)

Imperial Guard

We don't think kindly of you alien folks around these parts

>Who is the leader of your Cadre?(d10)

Rolled 3 (1d10)

Come on ethereal!

Rolled 9 (1d10)

Please be an Ethereal, I have so many Patrick Stewart references I could make.

Fuck and double fuck.

Shas'el - Fire Caste Noble

Sorry fellas, no Ethereal

>How would characterize your leader?(d10)

Rolled 10 (1d10)

Va'yan - Proud

Ok, that's the entire table, shall we fluff this cadre out?

Dammit I was hoping for at least Vior'la.

That way I could truly say YOU MOTHERFUCKERS ARE GONNA KILL ALL MY LILIES!

So a proud expeditionary force with a large mining division...are we basically the tau version Christopher Columbus?

Shas'el C'Ris'Thop'Colum'Bus

>"'Wait!' said Shas'el Va'yan, probably smoking crack."

Ok, first off, what's the name of the sept? And is the cadre just of many Tau exploration fleets that the sept have sent out into space now that the daeomcles gulf is gone/not on fire anymore?
Maybe they are search for remnants of the 4th sphere expansion?

I think our leader would make a great Kirk, proud guy and all for space federation/communism

I see potenial in this

So why is it we have found the Imperial guard to be the particular enemy of this cadre?

>Guys I bet I can get to Terra by going the wrong way hard enough
>>Yeah maybe but it's would be stupid
>Fuck you I'll do it any way
[Genocide of locals intensifies]

or

>Gee that sure is a lot of isolated human worlds you got there
>Be a shame if some dashing rogue and his merry men were to strip-mine them and enslave the populace
[Genocide of locals intensifies]

Why not both?

I demand this name
