The problem lies in losing personal choice. Waifus are fine but when a cyoa punishes you for not picking a waifu or puts your relationship with your waifu as a success condition, that's bothersome. What if you like none of the waifus? What if you already have a gf? What if you want to find love yourself? What if you don't want a waifu?

I dunno. In the course of my life I've went from anti-EU to pro-EU. The generation now entering adulthood has lived in the EU their whole lives. And with Russia providing military and China economic threat, just like the British once did for the thirteen colonies, the decline of US is actually giving EU members an incentive to continue integration towards a real federation.

Nothing's certain about future, of course, but there's definitely a chance to build EU into a stable, prosperous superpower, possibly even the dominant one.

It is a planned feature along with aligning to Angels, Demons, Extraterrestrials and synths, you can do so but with a heavy price. Lot's o people don't like being replaced by robots and demons don't like heaven expanding their territory, and so on.

Global crop growth will take a hit thanks to the change in climate, so the location of farmland isn't too important. And they grow mostly shit there. Wheat and corn. The good stuff comes from more coastal regions

I figure Texas is far enough away to ignore the worst of it. And I'm hardly an expert, but AFAIK the biggest industries in nearby states are farming, lumber, mining, and oil. The first is fucked globally, and the latter three have a decent presence in other areas. I think the biggest issue would be loss of habitation. Mass migration is devastating, just look at Europe.
