I'm glad they're branching out and doing new things. They should review stuff like ADB's new novel coming out at the end of this week, Black Legion. It would be interesting to get their thoughts on the authors and their work.

I personally enjoyed it. It was a little long, but still.

One of the Foul Daemon-Princes of this heresy will be non other that Meat-Bread, whose insides are in-fact a horrifc visage are shredded Taco and Tortilla that can evicerate all that are cunsumed in it, the Daemon becoming more and more dangerous as it's innards are revealed by bolter-fire

Not everyone shares Veeky Forums's burning hate for ADB. I don't know what the TTS guys think of ADB, but surely even if they hate his guts they can explain why in a video.

He has, but there has been a noticeable descent from stuff like the Night Lords Trilogy to now.

And there's a lot that people don't notice. For example, while we meme about his daddy issues ADB has SERIOUS FUCKING ISSUES with women. All his women are maiden/mother/crones. He has a complex about mothers being sexually available, and the trope he relies on became obvious when you notice his main Astartes all have a variant on the same character as their female foil. It's stronger in some chars than others. The Blessed Lady is the most obvious, but there's also the Inquistor in his Grey Knights books.

Im fine with it as it did have some good moments and also explained enough so someone who knows nothing 40k, while also continuing the plot of the White Scars from episode 25. It did include alot of fluff about the White Scars that I never knew or cared about as they're really forgettable. Since it dosen't require any effort in animation, it's a nice way of providing content between the wait time of TTS episodes.

I hope this spin-off gets popular enough so they can do The Beast Arises, as it would be an hour of the Emperor making fun of Adorable for his Imperial Fists for getting their shit kicked in.

I wouldn't say I know "nothing" about 40k, but I only know the basics about the races, not chapter histories or any of that. And yeah, the White Scars don't seem all that interesting, they're literally just the mongols in space and that's it, even using the same names. You can tell it was written back before the setting really came into its own.

I really enjoyed the podcast, as for the series I really really enjoyed the beginning but started to fall off during the whole grand inquisitor arc after emps freed Magnus, does it get better?

Magnus and Kitten go on a roadtrip. Its pretty alright.

The two episodes where the Emperor explains the history of the 40k universe and his own backstory are tremendous. Peak of the series for me.
