We Design A Surreal Apocalypse Setting Part 2

Continued from this .
>There are beings capable of traversing the twisting flow of reality, and have made it their duty to try and find a way to combat The Expanse.

>Many are the races that stand against the corruption of the Expanse, those beings who would wish to stand against the withering power afflicting the cosmos.
>These races tend to join together into Coalitions in order to bolster their own individual strengths, and to protect their own weaknesses.

>The chaotic Expanse devours all in its path, swallowing all life and devouring the flow of existence.
>Its hunger know no bounds, and its withering reach is everywhere. There is no hope for the future.

why are we having this thread every day now?

>why are we having this thread every day now?
These threads usually aren't an "everyday" thing from what I recall. We only have them about once or twice a week or so. Hell, there are only two of these threads active right now, if I remember correctly.

Re-posting this.
> There are numerous beings who have taken to studying what they can of the Expanse and its corruption, one group amongst these being the Zaldrosini.
>These enigmatic beings of will and thought have gone out of their way to study and observe the effects of the Expanse upon reality, drifting across the cosmos in their ships that are driven through their wills and dreams alone.

>The Zaldrosini do not truly *have* bodies. Instead their ever dreaming minds are connected to their ships in every way, allowing them to manipulate it in various unique ways, even changing its overall structure and composition for ease of travel or study.
>For all intents and purposes, their ships *are* their bodies.

And also this.
>Amongst the darkness once called the stars, there survives an esoteric order called the "Mumblers"
>without order, rule, or organization, these strange hermits travel the darkness from dead world to dead world.
>In the ruins of lost and dying worlds, they catalog every name every race and world has known God by.
>They believe, once they have collected ever possible name for God, their speech will be powerful enough to manifest God material and beat back the Expanse.
>To always remember their quests, they constantly mutter the names of God they know to themselves, from thus comes their name.
>Many believe the Mumblers are fools
>Others claim the Purity of Speech is the thing most holy in all the universe

Those who have personally met with the Mumblers describe them as being "babbling, incoherent even at the best of times, a certain cryptic oddity lacing everything they say".
>Some have taken this as them merely suffering under some manner of affliction as a result of traveling to such distant and dead worlds, but others can 'feel' that there is oohing more to the seemingly insane gibberish the Mumblers speak.

Bump.

...

>The desert cities of Khaujal have one since withered and grown worn, yet still they stand to this day, still harboring the secrets of the Ancients who built them.
>Perhaps those secrets may hold some means to push back the Expanse? Who can say....

This is awesome. I'm going to steal it for a thing.

Yeah, it is pretty cool. I might decide to make some lore for it later.

>"You've arrived on a rather special night....It's one of the master's affairs..."

>The Order Of Twisted Agonies. A group of corrupted beings that venerate the Expanse as the Supreme power within all reality, and will do anything to service it.
>Such warped beings actively go out of their way to sacrifice innocent beings to the dark corruption of the Expanse, and have seeded many of their own within numerous civilizations across the cosmos, all in preparation to undermine them from within and sentence their populace to fates far worse than mere death.
