Are there any magic systems that can achieve the same stuff as D&D magic, or is there a jump that lets you visit a D&D setting that is edition agnostic I'm not a fan of 3.5e and don't want to need to reference the game mechanics.

Well, there's Neverwinter Nights, which isn't the most well fleshed out Jump, but doesn't reference a specific edition that I can see.

Or you could use Dragonlance, which has the Drawback Precarious Port for no points. It switches everything to a different edition of D&D. Though, honestly, nothing in the Jump Document itself really references the system and it uses fluff instead. So you could always just run off the fluff.

Either that or you could do what everyone else does and head over to Overlord, which is apparently Dungeons and Dragons magic lite.

>We Need More Princesses
Alright watcha got?

That sad feeling you get when you really want to see/make a jump for a setting that isn't finished yet.

I'm tempted to just make a half assed jump for my own private use.

Which setting bro

you can't just leave us hangin like this

I think the Anima system can do roughly the same stuff? Along with Overlord (LN/M/A).

>mfw you can solve the entire plot of Naruto by Kamui-ing the moon
Or you could just be Decade.
[crying Madara noises]
tobirama did nothing wrong

The Last Sovereign. Its a porn game.

>implying madara won't just make another one
>implying hiashi will let you get in the way of his keikaku
>implying obito won't be a whiny bitch until you bring it back so he can dream about fucking his thirteen year old waifu
lel

Neverwinter Nights is a 3.5 game. It was actually a big ad for 3.5 FR back in the day.

You know lewd jumps aren't allowed here?

Ah.

Well.

You do you then, man.

>jumper has Senju and Uzumaki blood
Does the keikaku snowball?

I know. If I was going to make it an actual jump I'd post it on QQ.

If you insist.

More progress on mechanics. Rogues finished, save the final one, and Princess precursor section also finished. All that's left is Princesses, then the endings.

Why even talk about it here then?

I know it is, but the Jump Document itself doesn't reference the game mechanics directly. That's why I added it.

You think if I go to World Seed I could become Shirou if I impale myself with swords everywhere and cultivate the Sword Element?

>Princess precursor section
what

>Dragonlance
Isn't Dragonlance also 3.5?

TFW Jumper wakes up in Hinata's bed with Hiashi telling them to take responsibility. He has a second daughter who can get kidnapped to the moon and hook up with Naruto anyway.

I just felt like talking about that depressed feeling you get when the setting you want to see a jump for isn't finished.

It got its start as an AD&D thing.

Dragonlance, Dark Sun, and Ravenloft are I think all based on the 2e versions of the settings

Overlord is basically D&D magic without the Vancian horseshit

But user, I'm a girl.

>Nier Automata
>Golden somethingorother
>Defense two ranks up - 30%?

>Fate
>Kavacha and Kundala EX
>Reduce damage by 99%

>Monster Hunter
>Impregnable
>Unquantified defense up - 10%?

>NES Pack
>Personal Shield
>Null attacks = to 10% or less

So in sum. If Chrom has 100 hp, it would take just over 1500 damage to even damage him at all. And then with this…

>Nier Automata
>Bag of Chips
>Anti Chain Chips
>6 seconds of invincibility after every hit

Temp invincibility for 12 seconds. I can use two of the same chip, right? I'll pick up regen from somewhere else. And then to top it all off…

>Fire Emblem (Sacred Stones)
>Great Shield
>1/10 chance to null any attack
>Requires armor?

A one in ten chance to just say fuck you to your attack.

Fucking invincible yet, or does anyone have more for me?

I believe they are called "queens"

I think you shouldn't try to become like Shirou.

The section that explains about Rescuing and Favors. Is precursor not the right word? It seems like it fits to me.

Do you people just like, not read my posts?

Pick up some magic defense. I really like the JL Dark and DC Occult ones a lot. I'm pretty sure that one of them scales with your general durability.

You're a ninja so that's not really a problem.

Precursor is mostly synonymous with 'ancestors' or more generally 'those that came before.'

Dragonlance lets you pick the edition you're using via a drawback.

WE BARELY READ _JUMPS_, LET ALONE POSTS.

Then you wake up in Neji's bed and he's telling Neji to take responsibility.

FFXI Paladin Capstone

600 Invincibility- As the party vanguard (tank) you are going to end up out front in the thick of battle most of the time. In a battle you are often the last line of defense for your
party, as you cut your group a bloody path through your foes there may come a time when you just cannot continue, you are wounded or badly injured and the next few
moments are what decide if your party will live or die. That is where this perk comes in, this perk is actually an ability, the ability to once a day make you and 5 other people
completely invulnerable for 5 minutes. For those 5 minutes what you can accomplish is staggering and though this ability can only be used once per day its power should not be
underestimated.

My mistake. The explaining section of Princesses then.

Senju alone would probably make you a hot commodity in the leaf.

If you took Wood Release on top of that, people would be falling over themselves to hook you up with their children.

>Not going to a fanfic wher CRA is a thing.
It's like your not even a jumper.

So, if you were going to update the Body Mod and Warehouse, how'd you do it?

Warehouse
>increase prices/stipend to minimum 50 cost
>remove Forcewall
>remove "time stops in warehouse" and "people can't be inside without you"
>specify that warehouse and attatched properties can be used to ferry non-companions or followers to later jumps
>specify that GravityLink can also increase (up to double?) the gravity
>tiers of robots, from simple retrieval drones to automated forklift-like androids
>remove Hardsuit
>make Link not require Portal, but instead provide extra Key
>specify that terminal automatically logs things/people
>remove the "can only be purchased once" restriction from Free Space
>500 CP stipend

Body Mod
>make stat tiers more realistic/less specific
>get rid of body types, replace with four ranks worth of stats
>make "Bestial" a perk
>add two additional ranks to Genderswap, one for at-will, another for mix and match
>assume the first rank of Flexibility is covered by Dexterity, raise price by 100
>assume Winged is covered by Bestial
>Raise price of Metavore, Everclensed
>1000 CP stipend

You are more likely to get metal element than anything. You could still make lots of swords with it though.

You can't stack chip effects past their "max" value (which is six seconds in this case) but, if you minmax your chips, getting that 6 seconds of invulnerability only costs you 21 memory, and if you're fully upgraded you have 128 memory to work with. That's purely in the game itself, to be clear. I'm not including any jumper shenanigans.

Chips don't actually stack. They can only give up to a max, so 6 seconds is all you can get.

Is there anything not in that jump? I see it recommended a lot lately.

>Putting your super child in the branch house as a slave
Sounds like a waste to me.

There are enough Cra in the Wakfu jump, user.

I'd add in a rule for the warehouse portal that gives you a way to make it bigger, in case you need to put something huge in their, and that's all I can think of off-hand.

Are you prepared to be awaited in Valhalla or at least the Chaldean throne of heroes

youtube.com/watch?v=ihNcNkQovG4

Jumpers' job to shove that stupid shit up their ass honestly

Not like that. These are fucking horrible.

What are some items that can change shape or otherwise act as different weapons? Trying to get an everyweapon as a base before I start importing it in my new chain.

I know of hero of a thousand faces from negima for melee, but closest I know of for ranged is the hacked tater gun in schlock and dont know of any that does both melee/ranged

is there really any reason you're bringing this up

we can talk all about what we want to change and shit like that, but with Quicksilver having given up, thrown in the towel, and gone home, nothing's going to change.

Is there ever enough CRA? The amount of Naruto fics using it tells me no.

Weird ad.

>Precarious Port
Just what I was looking for. Didn't know it had that option. Thanks.

I think the series actually flip-flops a bit on whether the transformations are physical, or just heavy-duty illusions

Like, a kunoichi might need a specialized jutsu to get another woman pregnant, instead of the vanilla transformation technique.

Damn.

Still Damn, but also neat since that means I can have... 6 chips. Which means I can add in the regen chip and the chip that increases my defense by another 80%.

Thanks.

RWBY weapons can have up to four modes, a demon weapon companion in soul eater can do 5. Closest to any weapon I know is death's scythe/anything from problem sleuth

I'm going to make my own supplement, post it to the thread, and I don't give a fuck if it gets put on the drive. Hell, I'd rather it NOT go on the drive.

I dunno it's pretty consistently physical. Naruto turns into the shuriken, he makes his toad the kyuubi, he turns into a shitload of rocks Pain was standing around.

There are a metric fuckton of Affinities. Really, the author said there's an Affinity for pretty much everything. So I'm sure that he'd be able to cultivate his Sword Affinity,

Thanks for the constructive criticism.

Smart.

Naruto is consistently physically transforming. The others seem less concrete about it.

I'm pretty sure that's fanon. I mean it's not like Sasuke told him he was a fucking moron for trying to turn into a shuriken or the toad asked to be transformed so it could look like it had fangs and claws.

Exalted: Lunars has the Shifting Silver Switchklaive, which can turn into basically any weapon you can imagine, melee/ranged both.

I'm probably misremembering, it may very well have consistently been physical.

Ignore everything I say.

Have an elf for your effort.

For ranged versatility, you could get an Arm Cannon from Metroid, or a ZF-1 from The Fifth Element, or a Multi-Gun from The Polity.
Or that trick weapon from Bloodborne that turns a pair of blades into a bow and back.

You should also get Guts, another Armor Skill in Monster Hunter, so that as long as your HP is over 70% the lowest an attack can bring your HP to is 1. Also, Glittering Gold is a lot more than a 30% defense increase, it says that "attacks that may have wounded you once will need to be used dozens or hundreds of times just to draw blood". So more like a 10000% increase. Stack that with a base form that already gives you lots of durability (I like Barbadium Body, takes planet-busting attacks to even break your skin) and you're going to be pretty tough.

Okay, let's see. Barbadium Body takes a planet-buster to even scratch, so 10^32 joules right there. Times a hundred, so 10^35 joules. Kavacha and Kundala EX requires an attack to be 100 times stronger than normal to do the same amount of damage, so 10^37 joules. And just breaking your skin is a lot less than 10% of your health, so say a hundred times more to not proc Personal Shield? So 10^39 joules in order to hurt you. That's a lot of damage. Let me put this in slightly more accessible terms. If you took an amount of TNT equal in mass to THE SUN, it would release upon detonation an amount of energy approximately 8.28x10^33 joules. It would take that much, channeled into a single point, to cause you any actual harm.

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sHZaaGlnmZyBouBMXMyx7WPhs4B6CwsOwRAINOd1W3Y/edit#gid=222637769

The other chip I would recommend is the one that allows you to absorb some of the damage you take back as HP.

Excuse me, I made a slight typo. It would take over ten thousand times that much, channeled into a single point, to cause you any actual harm.

Is Leviathan The Tempest finished?

It's jumpable but unfinished.

That's the thing that gets to me, it's mentioned as genjutsu, illusion, several times and yet they seem to expect Naruto to be able to transform physically. Noone ever bats an eye. I've no clue what it's supposed to be.

What is CRA?

The question of how 'real' transformations are in Naruto is a subject of some debate. The general assumption I see is that most standard transformations rely on creating a pseudo-object out of chakra and sort of replacing your normal body with that. This helps explain how transformations are easily disruptable, and also how Naruto is still capable of thinking and reacting while his body is a rock or shuriken.

But hey, it's all fanon.

Sakura uses it as an illusion too, during the exams.

Fanon "justification" for giving Naruto a group of fuckpu- I mean a kind and loving harem that loves him and each other. It stands for Clan Restoration Act.

Clan Registration Act. Basically an exuse to give Naruto an harem, though I could actually see it being an actual thing.

Meant Restoration. Don't know why I said registration, probably have too much Marvel on the brain.

That is hilarious and retarded.

Clan Restoration Act. It's a concept that shitty fanfiction uses as an excuse to give Naruto a harem, under the justification of spreading the Namikaze genes (very rarely Uzumaki, since most of the fanfics using it were written before the idea of the Uzumaki being a famous clan was introduced by the series). This despite the fact that there's zero evidence that the Namikaze were anybody. For all we know, Minato's parents were bakers. Well, fishermen is more likely, given that "Namikaze" means "sea wind", but you know what I mean. He's never referenced as being from a clan. I actually prefer for him to have not been, in a world where everyone else is special because of their legacy I like the idea that he was just some nobody that rose to become one of the most powerful people in the world.

>We Need More Princesses

You guys might

I got friggin' nine of them to handle. And nine princes.

literally turnin' me hair grey.

Eh, Uzumaki isn't even a leaf clan and their don't really have a KG, so I don't see that happening for them. People would just want to get at their fuinjutsu secrets mainly.

Now, Senju, Uchiha, Hyuuga? I can see Leaf going out of their way to hook them up with girls for the sake of repopulating their biggest assets.

The Lotus Blade in Kim Possible has pretty strong shapeshifting abilities. You have to pick it up in setting and have to take the Mystic Monkey Paw perk as well though,.

Are there any good delinquent/bancho jumps

I'm looking to satisfy my desire to be an honorable street punk

God fucking damnit Civil War. Didn't need the reminder of that shit hole event. I've seen both honestly so it isn't that much of an issue.

I imagine dragon princesses are rather spoiled.

I can't think of any that we do have, but I'd love to see a Rokudou no Onna Tachi jump. Reform all of the street punks But mainly the women

Funny enough that is the fanon justification for Konoha bashing. They took Kushina who is "princess" of the Uzumaki clan and of Ushio and set her up with Minato. Then send in Jiraya to sabotage the seals protecting Ushio.

Well you probably don't want to be reminded that it was such a "hit" that they rehashed it again. Civil War II was with Captain Marvel v Iron Man (Tony Stark). Which was retconned via Cosmic Cube-girl to have been set up by Steve Rodgers, Captain America, who deaged him & made him into a secret hydra agent. In fact he's always been part of Hydra because his parents were Hydra.

Oh no I fucking saw that shit. Just another day from Marvel continuing to ruin Carol and every other character.

Fair enough.

You're welcome. I glad I could be of some help.

That... what? Fate/GO, I'm pretty sure you need to sit down and reevaluate what the shit you're doing.

Civil War at least had the balls to actually matter once it was done. Registration was the status quo for years after it. Modern "Events" are really just storylines that interrupt other better storylines.

I tip my hat to you, for your good taste have a shark.

Read a bit of Naruto fanon. I have never heard of this. Though the CRA is definitely a thing I know about and overused

I'll agree with you there and I actually liked the X-men stuff that was happening around them but the entirety of the ending pissed me off.

>Funny enough that is the fanon justification for Konoha bashing.
I've never seen that one. Usually it's "Konoha villagers would abuse Naruto, giving him an excuse to really be all cool and edgy with his doofy personality just being a mask he adopted to convince them he wasn't a threat". Because that one has so much canon support, right? It's not like his honorary grandfather has a legion of stealthy superhuman killers able to watch over him, or anything like that. And of course, people who were scared of and hated him because they thought he was a giant killer monster in disguise would definitely do things to earn his ire instead of just quietly shun him and keep out of his way.

Warehouse:

>Wouldn't fuck with the pricing, I'm not OCD like that.

>Would add Drawbacks for more warehouse points

>Would reduce the LocalNet cost

>add a 6-month vacation version of return, akin to what SoL & Overlord offer.

>expand on the Housing option, let jumpers customize their warehouse living quarters.

>Cranes. The warehouse needs some cranes.

>basement option

>security system

>Crates and Barrels

Oh boy your in for a ride. I'll link this here: fanfiction.net/s/11508425/1/Wrath-of-the-Crimson-Uzu That one isn't even close to the worse. They even go towards bashing the Ichirakus in some by going with the reason Naruto did so poorly in the academy was that the Ramen was drugged/poisoned.
