So why have the traitor primarchs been sitting on their asses doing nothing for 10 thousand years? At least Abaddon has tried to do something.

Angron went on a rampage agisnt the Imperium
Mortarian also did some stuff against the Imperium
Perturabo helped a little bit during a Black Crusade

Cause the traitor primarchs are mopey dopey losers
Then again, loyalists have been doing the same. What the hell happened to Khan and Vulkan?

Because they're daemon princes and daemonhood is overrated.

Daddy issues.

Khan is dicking around Commorragh, and Vulkan died fighting the beast and is either in Trazyns museum or is waiting for his sons to finish his scavenger hunt, tack your pick on which is better.

>Khan is dicking around Commorragh

Are we sure?
After 10k in the webway, surely he was found by someone or something

abbadon isnt a primarch newfag

He could have gotten lost in that abandoned region the Necrons use, maybe he was kidnapped by skaven or something.

Regret and self-hatred.

That was my point the armless wonder has done more with his failures than any of the traitor primarchs have done in the same time frame.

>tfw chances are Khan most likely been in Trazyn's Vault for 10,000 years and has forgotten about by even him.

fulgrim's been doing cocaine and fucking daemonettes with slaanesh in the eye of terror somewhere for 10 thousand years

We're gonna find out that Trazyn has all the unaccounted for primarchs and stole creed so that he could hid all of them of Abaddons ship for the ultimate show of tactical genius.

So who wins in a fight Abaddon or a chaos primarch, would a primarch even listen to Abaddon since he is a manlet?

We've also got the RG primarch and Russ who fucked off to the warp 10k years ago and nothing of them

I imagine Daemonhood is kind of like death. You don't grow or change or progress towards anything.

Worse still, you stop being an agent in your own right and start being the pawn of greater powers. Fulgrim doesn't go out trying to conquer vast swathes of the Imperium because there's no need for him to do so -- at least, not at this point. He's happy to suck his own cock-cluster on his Pleasure World, where his Emperor's Children need to keep their ships fueled, armor repaired, losses offset by new recruits, etc.

Same goes for Mortarion, Angron, Magnus, and so on. Unless there's some pressing need that one of the Chaos Gods recognizes and needs to take direction on, the Daemon Primarchs are really more trophies than anything else -- an example of the power that Chaos has. It doesn't matter if you're superhuman, or even a god among superhumans; under the influence of Chaos, any degree of humanity makes you vulnerable to damnation.

That's why, even after the Imperium lost Ferrus Magnus, Sanguinius and the Emperor himself, and all the loyalist Primarchs died or went missing after the Siege of Terra, it was still close to an even match between the Imperium and the forces of Chaos. That's why Abaddon has turned down Greater Daemonhood time and again. Daemonhood may make you individually powerful, but it kills all ambition and direction, and turns you into a plaything of the Ruinous Powers. And Abaddon's got bigger plans than that.

>So why have the traitor primarchs been sitting on their asses doing nothing for 10 thousand years?

Because demons are part of the great game of chaos.

Angron went on a rampage but ended up getting fucked in the face by the Grey Knights on Armageddon and probably was too traumatized by the episode.

Mortarion had some planets om'nom'd, then a fellow named Draigo kicked his ass, taunted him with his childhood nickname, and carved his name into the dude's big black heart before shoving him back into the warp. He probably went back to tickling his xeno daddy's soul for a couple thousand years to cheer up.

Perturabo is more or less the Bill Gates of the Warp, content to sit back and watch everything play out from the comfort of his fortress world.

Because unlike how the fluff claims becoming a daemon prince is just stagnation and objectively makes you less useful.

Angron killed lots of people on his own conquests & others helped Abaddon a few times.

underrated post, and a superb reasoning-out of deamonhood in any setting imo

This could be great. I like it.

Angron can't leave the warp anymore cus he got banished to fuck.

Daddy issues.

Mortarion didn't do much besides show his face once and get his hemorrhoid-riddled ass cleaned by Draigo's glowing holy avenger like cock. His own legion doesn't really respect him.

Vulkan is definitely alive because Perpetual, but he's probably doing the thing with his sons' hunting for his relics while in the meantime he goes off and protects random worlds in the Imperium, like he was when they found him during the Beast thing.

>So who wins in a fight Abaddon or a chaos primarch
Probably the latter. Aren't Abaddon's 40k stats and gear still mathematically inferior to those of the Traitor Primarchs?
