Rolled 1 (1d6)

mmkay

...

Well I've never seen a d24 before.

fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2017/8/18/a-most-suitable-teacher/

Results story's up.

Sorry, wrong thread. Nice d24, . That's a really interesting design.

I don't really like the red ones, I bought them years ago when i was underage angsty metalhead, but still

...

I bought this lime-green set and it stands out very nicely on the table. Easy to see and read from a distance.

I used to buy weird dice like this but it's so damn hard to read them it became annoying after a while.

...

>This thread has been up for almost 6 hours

Barneycuck, you're getting slow in your old age nigga

Printed this monstrosity earlier today.
It tends to stop rolling earlier than normal d20, which is perfect for someone like me who is very ham-fisted with their rolling.

Is it balanced.

Perfect for naval games.

here's mine, plus my dice box and my dice guardian who doesn't fit in the box

neat, i want a mine d20 now too

What is the dice guardian guarding against and how effective is he?

he guards against bad rolls in critical situations
not very, he doesn't fit in the box so i have to leave him home and i get shit rolls every game

isn't that cheating? i wouldn't play with anybody who used one. defeats the purpose of using dice

he keeps the bad rolls away only in critical situations
plus his guarding comes as an aura that saves everyone in his reach

fearless
very small

My pride and joy are 3 tungsten d6s. They've got a nice weight to them and if I'm ever assaulted on my way to a game I could probably brain someone with my dice bag because it's fucking tungsten.

i see. do you have a dice devil that gives people bad rolls?

I thought we just called those "The GM".

yeah but we just refer to him as the gm

what if the dice guardian was the GM?

Then he's not a very good GM.

who would win in a fight between the gm and the dice guardian?

the dice guardian protects us from the GM
he's locked in an endless battle where only good rolls remain where the GM's malice would've killed us

have you thought of recruiting a second dice guardian? they could probably overthrow the gm at that point

what the

Those are some dumb color choices.

>dice devil
we have a set of d6 that have continually given us the shittiest rolls possible
>took 3 of us and a DMPC to defeat a single prison guard because we kept fumbling with the dice
>lost multiple rolls against horde units with -6 modifiers on 2d6
>threw a smoke grenade and rolled so poorly that we got lost in our own smoke grenade
>these dice are physically incapable of rolling above a 2 more than once an hour

after critfailing on three consecutive rolls i am convinced these dice are cursed

they aren't just bad colors, its also pony faggotry

Pic is my dice, I like to switch and mix sets mid session to account for the fact that they're all cheap and probably poorly balanced. Sex dice are my go to if someone wants to fuck the tavern wench so it doesn't get too weird

I always wanted something like this, though I imagined it would be a small ball with a screen on it that's weighted down on the other side so it would always roll screen facing upwards to report the roll.

I need a bag.

>Sex dice are my go to if someone wants to fuck the tavern wench so it doesn't get too weird

Bags are overrated. I use Altoid-style mint tins and they're perfect.
>neat
>stackable
>compact
>perfect size for 8 dice per tin, so a set of 7 and some wiggle room or 7 and an extra d20
>you can leave them open on the table and see all of your dice at once
>color code your dice so the wintergreen box has all the green/blue ones in it, etc
>cheap as shit to replace (if you ever wanted to)
>you could probably paint the lids if you wanted to
>don't have to worry about dice squeaking out the opening into your bag if a drawstring gets too loose
I think a lot of the hype around dice bags is the result of memes and lack of options. The drawstring on my last bag failed, and I had a bunch of these tins lying around, and ever since then I haven't looked back. Bags are wack.

And of course I forget my image

The problem with this is those dice definitely look like candy. I'd be hungry every time I opened the tin.

Die you fucking Barneyfag
derpibooru.org/1359662

Fucking kill yourself
derpibooru.org/46621

wait wtf someone explain this fuckery. Did op post pony/barney dice? kek

i don't want to play games anymore

>suck face
Sexy.

It's 3d printed, so it's probably heavily weighted.

they look like fruity gummys from the 90s.

also checked both of you

Incidentally I've been winning games non stop since I started using these

my lgs only sells white chessex and games workshop dice. Where do you recommend for online dice shopping? or does it not matter

I feel like those giant skull d6 would be great for 13th Age as the escalation die.

Built pic related box around a year ago using a CNC Router.

Lost the matching D20 about a month ago, and couldn't find a matching one in my local games shop. Not having a matching one really triggers my autism.

Lid is held on with neodymium magnets, foam glued in to keep the dice from falling out of place. Lid detail could've been done a little cleaner, I wish I had simply cut out the outline of the logo.

looks good

Have you ever had the problem of random faggots trying to suck your dice?

tigerseye gamescience

I recommend Third Die bags. They're high quality, and reversible. You can see mine in the pic.

My only real gripe is that there is only 2d8s since I like my sword n'board paladins

What are those from?

thats pretty good actually
I use a crown royal bag for my "extra" sets and a weird bag silky bag that I think was used to hold sunglasses for my main set
>almost 20 bucks
>only one of each except for the 4d6
Im pretty disgruntled

I still love the orange lava dice I bought years ago. Super easy to read and they make good trackers for my Daemons army.

/pol/tard, where can I obtain?

Game Science. Don't get Chessex or Q-Workshop dice. They're weighted poorly and roll awful. If you want some sort of specialty dice, look on Kickstarter. PolyHero dice are unique and weighted very well. I have the warrior set and it's by far my favorite to use, and my rolls are pretty evenly distributed.

Oh and if you don't mind mediocre quality dice, get them off of AliBaba. You can get a Chessex quality set of metal die for less than $20. You can see my set of them in . They're the bronze ones on the left hand side. Though I still recommend the PolyHero dice.

>implying
Chessex dice are fun if you buy transparent or translucent ones. They make sure not to have bubbles in there because they'd be visible.

Hey guys!

I'm in the middle of creating a first prototype for my board game idea. It's a skirmish/arena combat game and you use dice for attacks and spells to determine damage. There are 4 different types of dice. Worst to best they are: Yellow, orange, red, purple
During the game you can upgrade your attacks/spells so they use better dice.

I'd like your opinion on this. On how I want the dice values to be. They are all d6 by the way.

>yellow
0-1-1-1-2-2
>orange
1-1-1-2-2-2
>red
1-1-2-2-2-3
>purple
1-2-2-2-3-3

For example the Lightning Bolt attack would start out that you roll a yellow and orange die. By upgrading it you'd roll 2 orange dice. Next upgrade 1 orange and 1 red etc. Or you could also add another yellow die instead of upgrading.

Please let me know what you think or if you have ideas!

They do smell kind of minty when you open the tin, sometimes, but that's about it. Who gets hungry for mints? They're just mints.

Or use a dice tray. Poorly-weighted dice can't find their equilibrium unless they roll a certain amount. The less a die rolls around, the more random it is (or rather, the more its initial conditions determine the result, rather than its center of gravity).

Is this any good? I have essentially no dice right now and need a lot.

w2c?

>Hours late to the party
Out fucking played.

Nigga what the fuck are you doing
Either start a thread or wait for /gdg/ to show up, you're clearly misunderstanding the purpose of this thread

fucking die

>not understanding why they're bad colors
played urself bruv

>Lid detail could've been done a little cleaner
Just needs a little buffing/polishing imo
electric toothbrushes work well

>d100 isn't turned to highest roll
this triggers the ocd

theyre the german afrika corps dice from Flames of War. Good shit

link here flamesofwar.com/Default.aspx?tabid=79&ProductID=7165

my friend bought one. theyre not bad, similar quality to other pound-of-dice sets

hnnng where are them gold dice from?

thanks mate ill check it out

>People keep buying you dice

Crown Royal Bag for that old school look.

store7313025.ecwid.com/#!/New-19mm-Grade-A-Precision-Casino-Dice-w-Matching-Serial-s/p/88384661/category=13838053 Are these even as good as they say?

Look pretty good to me, user. That said, you can probably find some actual decommissioned casino dice cheaper than that.

Where can I get some square edged dice?

Gamescience for full sets, casino dice for just d6s.

Man how the heck did you find those marbled dice? They're sold out everywhere.

Not that user, but you can probably find some like that by going to your flgs. They pretty much always have ones like that in stock at mine.

Dice I bought last Sunday.

If you are talking about the Blue/Silver marble set my FLGS always has them in stock, so maybe go to yours and ask them to order you a set?

I debate buying that set every time I go in, but three of the people I play with already have that set.

And the dice I bought two weeks before that.

I really need to get a picture of my complete collection some time.

I have a set of d6s in this color and absolutely love it. Bright, clear, easy to read from across a table, but still fun.

I THOUGHT WE WERE THE ONLY ONES!

You know even though i have a mixture of dice I always preferred Translucent dice. They always made me think of a bag full of Gems when I see them poured out.

Clear set best set.

Anyone know of a place that has decent size, custom D6s?

I've been needing to get my group a bulk set of dice, but I'm having difficulty finding the right amount (50-100-ish?) in just a single color. They're all in either random colors per die, or sets of 7.

Why does it need to be a single color?

h-hey, any of yall got them tiny dice? i n-need my fix...

... i'll suck yo dick

>instructed to roll 4d6
>scrounge around for minutes looking for 4 similar d6s
or
>lose a single die from the red set
>have to toss the rest of the reds
I know lots of people claim they're OCD for trivial shit, but I think I actually am. This shit would legitimately ruin my enjoyment if I tried to ignore it.

Fair enough I suppose. Unfortunately I don't think many sellers have that level of ocd in mind when they sell dice. My suggestion is to find somewhere that sells dice singles, and just get what you want that way, though it will be much more expensive than just buying bulk dice.

More specifically, buy multiple sets of a single color, and then buy single dice of dice you might want spares of.
