RaHoWa
There, I win.

>Play as literal nazis

Absolutely nothing wrong with that, assuming your are not a thin skinned liberal twat. Any grown up can actually play a military game and ignore politics.

>being authentic means being insensitive
What did he mean by this?

Who else /Gladiator/

Wouldn't thin skinned conservatives be offended by Nazis too? I would think that gun toting, freedom loving conservatives would equally think "Fuckin' Nazis", but I'm not American, so I don't quite fully comprehend all the nuances of your political shit.

Either way, yeah, I don't see a reasonable person getting butthurt about a game.

This game tramples on Holocaust culture

It's okay to trample on made up events, user.

Board gamers must remember the hobby's dark past.

Wow, literally just have fun having good honest Englishmen dying.

Freedom loving people aren't offended by pictures.
Liberals love to get offended so they can legislate themselves greater political power

Nothing less should have been expected from a Polish game. They are known as /pol/acks for a reason.

>Freedom loving people aren't offended by pictures
But they are by words apparently.

>he took the bait

>live in UK
>conservative government made facesitting porn illegal
>and we keep electing conservatives

I'm Japanese and I find this game highly offensive.

While it is a silly law, they didn't make it illegal. They made it illegal to film porn that includes it in the UK. You cannot be sent to jail for watching this porn in the UK.

It's understandable since English isn't your first language, but the word you're looking for is "shitty", not offensive.

>ctrl+f FATAL
>0 match
Come on Veeky Forums.

If you normalize it, the appeal begins to fade.
They've done facesitters a service.
It may now reclaim its lost gleam of transgression.

FATAL is good for a laugh.

“...male orcs are not considered too handsome. However, despite the alien look...orc women are admired in Vanadia for their exotic, fascinating beauty…”

Gnomes play “the same role the Jews played in 19th century Europe.”

And then Ogres: “Their young are brought up in special childcare centers, where, thanks to modern educational methods, they can grow up to be decent citizens: trained servants and workers.”

Congrats, Wolsung, you're the only Steampunk game to actually be set in the 19th century.

China and Korea are offended. Mostly Korea.

Would this or test of honor be a better game?

I like Bushido a bit more because each model has their own special rules, and the theme is more fantasy samurai than the Sengokujidai of Test of Honor.

And I find this has more model variety...and you can play Oni, and that is always a good and fun thing.

China doesnt care cause they probably produce those.

Korea does though. Even Soul Calibur lost their main character because of it.

Why are they offended?

Korea hates Japan.

Its Asia, everyone hates each other. Well, Taiwan and Japan like each other, as long they are not Chinese Taiwan.

Yeah, so they're offended why? Is tabletop popular in Korea?

I understand tensions carried over from ww2 or whatever.

Its sorta like this, Japan fucked Korea a few time in history. One was with a bunch of samurai that end up getting routed after Korea received support from China.

Then, WW2 Imperial Japan continues with the whole samurai thing, and somehow Japan manages to fuck them even worse (mostly by commiting war crimes). What makes it even more problematic is that Japan tried to erase Korean culture with their own, so obviously there is the whole samurai sthcik in it.

Basically, Korea doesnt allow and hates the samurai image. Its a part of a whole government policy to literally not allow samurai imagery being used there, with Mitsurugi from Soul Calibur even being removed from the game because he is a samurai. And its why I think Hanzo and Genji are ninjas, and not samurai in the game, because that saves blizzard from having to change things from the country that loves their games so much.

Lately Korea and Japan have been getting better at handling this shit, but mostly because the new generations are stopping giving a fuck about it all.

Same user, although to be fair, Korea had the greatest Admiral in history - Admiral Yi, a guy that even the worst nationalist japanese asshole admits was badass. So they were winning against the Samurai while in the sea.

I was just thinking of him when reading your first post.

Dragon boats OP, plz nerf.

A&A doesn't have much in the way of cultural insensitivity.

Ill-considered jests by players notwithstanding, of course.

>That picture
Yeah, the filename is appropriate. I'm not even sure what I'm looking at. Is this supposed to be sexy? Because it's not. There's something incredibly off about these girls.

Actually everything of that is copied from computer game called Arcanum. Also, it was intended to be satire in that game.

Americans shouldn't be allowed to vote or comment on politics. Your nomenclatures are so out of whack.

Liberalism, the word, even has the same root as the word liberty. It's tied to early notions of free trade, checks and balances on government, democracy, republicanism, rule of law, etc.

...

You know how people joke about the Germans invading France? That's the Japan/Korean relationship of Asia. In the last ~350 years they've invaded Korea three or four times. And they spent 250 of those years refusing to interact with the outside world and seventy of those years being post WWII.

Trigger warning.

Monopoly

wheres the jail?

>go to jail
>there is no jail
>implying being in jail is actually bad in monopoly

...

Wait, they made an Arcanum P&P?

gimmegimmegimmegimme

A friendly reminder that the Nazis actually hated this when it came out.

Used to play this shit with the Sioux kids who lived next door. I never had a clue at the time.

...

If I call myself a word with good connotations, it means I am good!

Looks like Sorry.

Parcheesi

What is this, a Cleveland Indians licensed version of Parcheesi?

That's not even the right kind of Indian for the game!

Your trigger warning should have been bigger.

/pol/bait incoming.

Conservatives don't actually care about freedom. They broadly fall into one of two camps: rich conservatives, who only care about money, and poor religious conservatives, who only care about feeling superior to minorities, women, and people even poorer than them.

>that's the party that freed the slaves

I never named a party.

Not sure if English version exists, but this is a thing.

Yeah, the terms in politics are really fucked.

It really comes down to both sides trying to ban the things that get their bases riled up so they can get more power.

That sounds interesting

It's not really a uniquely American phenomenon. Look at the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Jail is bad in the early game (It's more difficult for you to snap up properties, or impossible if you don't play with sane people) and good in the late game (FREE RENT NIGGA))

Get me a hack translation, I'll play it.

There's a swedish cardgame called "nigger & president". It's played in multiple rounds and whoever wins the previous round is president, and whoever loses is nigger.

I like how everyone forgot that up until about 2010 it was the conservative religious right who wanted to ban and censor anything and everything because of their childrens' feefees and Jeeezus.

Don't own it, I just played it once. Didn't seem like much of a good game, mechanics are too random, and the art just feels lazy. I will see it I can borrow it long enough to run it through scanner.

By the way - barter with food vouchers was technically treason, punishable by jail time. I mean - everyone was doing it, but it wasn't something you would admit doing.

>Eurogames
>Authentic

>Political tunes change whenever convenient
Big fucking surprise.
Just look at opinions on the filibuster flip-flop.

And tie when nobody wins or loses is called Obama?

Nelson is the greatest admiral AND Brit ever to live thank you

Well, you'd think that since this was the way things were since basically day one of America being a nation, at least SOMEONE would see the irony.

I do own another one of those 'parody of dark times' games, which actually has proper manuals in english, french, german, mandarin and korean.

boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/85325/kolejka

It's surprisingly fun to play.

This, kinda. In my country, liberals and conservatives are basically the opposite of what they mean in the US.

Yeah, well, political parties shift bounds all the time, and I'm pretty sure we're still getting religious protests against violence and sex in media.
As I figure it, opinions change less than labels do.

Yes they are. This is why cuckservative is a term.

Learn how language works you fucking autist.

In my country 'liberals' and 'conservatives' are basically the same thing with different voter bases.

ecksdee

Everybody is Liberals vs conservatives

and im just here with muh guns

They still want to ban abortions and brown people.

They want to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the country and they don't want their tax dollars funding abortions.

>and they don't want their tax dollars funding abortions.
Until it's their teenage daughter that's pregnant.

I don't care how you feel about or how they feel about it, I care about the purposefully disingenuous presentation of your oppositions beliefs. It's fucking boring and accomplishes nothing except for furthering the divide between people.

But you don't give a shit, so make a quippy retort and continue to shitpost for validation.

Modern conservatives view Nazis as their white brothers in a war against Starbucks and colored people or some dumb shit

It's not just that. It's increasing the restrictions in order to actually set such places up well beyond comparable medical facilities. It's why so many states have very little on that front at all.

>I care about the purposefully disingenuous presentation of your oppositions beliefs.
Except the "tax dollars funding abortions" argument is pretty disingenuous, because of the other anti-abortion measures like this user mentioned, and because most of Planned Parenthood's funding doesn't come from the government, and because most of what PP does isn't even abortions to only a small fraction of all their funding from all their sources goes to abortion, and because if we stopped using tax dollars to fund shit that anybody doesn't like then nothing would get fucking done.

Eh, I say deport them to Nashville or some shit. Make a reservation for their kind, do 'em up Injun-style

I like how you backed away from your previous "conservatives want to ban brown people," argument.

I'm not just talking about planned parenthood, and the partial or total government sponsored nature of their funding is irrelevant. If you don't support something, why would you be happy to let a single cent of your tax money go towards it? It's a reasonable concern and not at all synonymous with "ban all abortions" like the statement I initially took issue with.

Put it in your blog, faggot.

>If you don't support something, why would you be happy to let a single cent of your tax money go towards it? It's a reasonable concern

The health of the citizenry is a proper concern of the State and their upset feelings about the provision of that healthcare using the State's funds graciously provided by its citizens hardly justifies contravention of that public policy, faggot.

>I like how you backed away from your previous "conservatives want to ban brown people," argument.
Because that was closer to being a joke, and was condensing way too much shit into one joke to get into. It wasn't just a dig at the travel ban or the border wall.

>If you don't support something, why would you be happy to let a single cent of your tax money go towards it?
Because if you acquiesce something like that to one group, then all of a sudden you have a million other groups popping up protesting their tax dollars are being used to fund fucking anything, whether their grievances are legitimate or not, and they now have precedent.

And also because it's not the actual stance a significant portion of the pro-life brigade hold. Some people might be unusually concerned with how one one-hundredth of a penny of their taxes is being spent, but others may be doing it merely because their preacher or their religious mother told them to, or because they believe that women should stay in the kitchen and banning abortions would be a good way to do that, or because they were fooled by lies like the "PP sells fetal tissue" bullshit.

>Because if you acquiesce something like that to one group, then all of a sudden you have a million other groups popping up protesting their tax dollars are being used to fund fucking anything, whether their grievances are legitimate or not, and they now have precedent.

The concept of government is the precedent you psuedo-intellectual fuckwit. At its core, the point of government is to enact the will of the electorate. If the electorate doesn't want their taxes financing something, no matter what that something may be, they have the right to petition their representatives to stop that from occurring. It's kind of the entire point of living in a democracy.

So those are both right and your left is called labor and green, yeah?

Because being left of Marx gets dubbed you a Nazi so when people start screaming about Nazis (especially Antifa), you start to get suspicious, especially if as a classical liberal you've been called fascist, Nazi, etc.

Also it's a matter of recognising threats; actual Nazis are tiny and have no impact politically. Nazis didn't destroy free speech in my country, the 'centre-left' did. Right wing political violence is tiny compared to left wing political violence, especially where I live.

Labour was trying to do the same thing; a lot of these policies are leftist and stem from the Civil Service, not from the 'Conservatives' (who are centre-left at best at this stage).

I don't speak sauerkraut, what is this?

Those were dark times. I had to read my 2e DMG in the middle of the night by the light of my Pac Man wristwatch. The Moral Panic took away from me everything that was fun and good in my young life. In the end, I was forced to choose between my hobby and my family, and because they made it impossible to enjoy life, I turned my back on my whole family.

>it's an "americlaps insist they live in a democracy" episode

Know the feeling brother, I made the same decision about my family for similar reasons. Also, nice quads.

The placement of that start square has me triggered.

>The state is my daddy and can't do anything wrong

Lol. Read some Public Choice literature before you mouth off this garbage
