woops

I'm retarted apparently

CSM conversions finally have shoulder pads, ready for priming and painting

This thread was first

I didn't see it when I was making this thread

>18:24 vs 18:35
just let this one 404 and migrate to the other one

Is there any way to shrink/clone a larger mini into heroic scale that does not involve modeling the mini in 3d software?

I've been painting my guard so that half of them can be used as traitor guard as well as just normal.

So here I have a prison warden type, a prisoner and a standard stormtrooper.

if it wasn't for the leather boots, these AoS conversions would be 10/10 instead of 9/10

You're getting hung up on the boots, man. It's like you're putting the power armor up on a pedestal...

If it weren't for another user doing the same conversion but gave them power-booties, i'd agree

But here we are

Should I stick to black for the guns?

Something tells me there's too much red

Something looks off

Wash em

Its a digital color to see how they would look

Can someone spoonfeed me?

Just bought some vallejo air primer to try out, and it scratches off awful easy unlike the gw can primer. I don't like using the cans to prime as I have a hard time getting it into right areas which an airbrush can accomplish without jizzing paint everywhere and clogging details when getting up close due to an awful angle.

Can anyone recommend an airbrush primer that comes close to the durability of the gw can primer?

Vallejo primer is shit and the morons who keep suggesting it are out of date. It takes literally days to weeks to fully cure to a durable shell, and takes at least 24 hours before you should do anything with it, let alone manhandle it. Even when you give it 24 hours, it's STILL not fully cured, it's merely durable enough to paint on. it will STILL slough off in scabs of polyurethane.

If you want an actual good primer, whether for airbrush or paintbrush, get Badger Stynylrez. It's literally better than Vallejo in every way and will actually dry in 15 minutes to allow painting, and cure in 24 hours to prevent "HURR WHY MY VALLEJO PRIMER COME OFF AFTER A DAY". You can also sand it like an actual fucking primer instead of Vallejo's rubbery shit.

Thanks user. I guess I fall for the meme.

Fell* damn phoneposting

Trying to do a Magmadroth with two heads. First time working with green stuff so I'm a little shaky but I'm overall happy with my progress. Could I get some C+C for what I can do to make it look better?

Start big, go little.

Don't think about the scales. Think about the skeleton, the muscle, the meat. If you think you've got a bit too little, you're right on target. It's much easier to add on than to take off.

All posts go here, this thread is duplicate and unnecessary.
