Have you ever had an experience with a living doll?

Have you ever had an experience with a living doll?

Has one of your characters ever owned a robot?

I played a few freeform games with someone who liked playing as Roll-like service bots or as someone who owned ones. He was the creepiest motherfucker I ever had the misfortune of meeting. For some reason, most of his other characters were children, too.

I know of only one other person who played as a living doll. He was alright when he played with us, but he refused to stop posting loli porn in our discord and spent a lot of time ironically shitposting about wanting to be the little girl.

and for the record, I'm not loliposting to lolipost, she's a robot who was built to be basically a doll. In the show she gets infected with a virus called cogito, basically changing her into a living doll.

I mean, I run Engine Heart, so...

user are you okay? Why does your image being cute matter?

Does nechronica count? Playercharacters are called dolls, but they are undead.

Seems like there is a bunch of loli posters trolling Veeky Forums lately, just covering all my bases

Ergo Proxy is a really good anime

In my current MonsterHearts campaign, one of the players is The Hollow, so yes

>Be a toy
>End up used as replacement daughter
>Gain fucking conscsious somewhere in the middle of it
The only autorev that didn't went bonkers under Cogito.

Well c3po was normal until he had a mental breakdown.

>owned a robot
Ran an AdEva game with a hyper protective Evangelion, does that count?

Do undead count as dolls?
I've had a number of cute undead under my bidding, yes.

Including spirits who regularly possess humanlike dolls and automatons.

>Nobody's posted best girl yet
For shame, Veeky Forums

Yes, she was basically Yaya from Unbreakable Machine Doll.

She cucked him.

In my setting, two of my wizards basically got their own living dolls. Because I made a special snowflake "Science and magic is the same thing" universalist school of magic and of course, they waifu'd the fuck out of them.

I would regret it if I didn't get to pull all kinds of horrible shit on them. The boons of making said dolls work on necromancy and every kind of magic cobbled together. Also because they wasted a lot of skillpoints into making them look good.

Kristeva didn't either, so that would make two.

I played a few sessions of Gamma World as Not!Maschinenmensch of Metropolis fame.
My last character found their way home and took off, leaving the party with all their gear and tech she'd been hoarding along with maps she'd drawn up on finding more technology.
First place the party goes to is basically Rotwang's lab with the robot just sitting their and instructions on how to power it up.
The party, always ready to press the big shiny button before thinking things through, flipped the switches and turned it on at which point the DM let me take over.
At first I played it with little autonomy, Not!Rotwang hadn't programed it and there was no Not!Maria to steal the identity of but as the party was busy ransacking the lab they found journals, plans, poems bemoaning the fate of his dearly parted, much beloved ex-wife and more and the party decided to make more.

As it continued she grew smarter and looked towards her original creator as a kind of father figure. Helping the party with their work to honor her fathers work and so she'd have sisters.
Eventually several were made before we ran out of parts we didn't have the means of making more of but that was enough. Time to take over what's left of NASA.

Sadly, Ada, as she was named by now, ceased functioning during our assult along side her sisters when massed EMP ripped through the facility and our largely unshielded bodies in a last-ditch effort to stop our attack.
Our attack was sucsessful however and the plan was to cannibalise all the sisters for working parts to get as many up and running again and I could rejoin but this was delayed as we left for the moon on a rocket.
So I made a Luna Bunny ala Touhou instead.

We eventually got two of the Sisters working again who helped us out but they wanted to remain on the moon, working on the Lunar colonies.

Meanwhile miss Usagi followed everyone home as team sniper till the TPK explosion a session later.

define "doll"

my wizard made an artificial humanoid golem with a custom soul and everything to act as his partner, but im not sure if that counts

Well, I play Nechronica, so...

A small object in the form of a human.

So, something like a 1000 year old loli vampire?

But we don't know when she exactly contained it. And their whole journey through the wastelands is implied to last almost a YEAR

Well androids are technically living dolls. Although they sometimes begin their statements with statement.

then no, she was explicitly perfectly life sized

Were you able to finish your campaign, and how did it turn out?

This is the oxford dictionary def
1A small model of a human figure, typically one of a baby or girl, used as a child's toy.

The common denominator in both those cases is Raul. Trait Buy: Helo Agathon Syndrome: Having a meaningful relationship with character turns psycho-robots sane.

Not it's not, it's pretentious and up its own ass and there aren't any cute girls in it

I think that's more a paladin sub-ability than an actual trait-buy.

Re-L is best girl, what are you talking about?

It wasn't even pretentious, it was just "meh". The characters weren't interesting, most of the episodes weren't interesting, the animation was average, the OST was average, the worldbuilding was alright but all the "plot twists" were uninspired.
Perfect example of a 5/10 anime that got overhyped as fuck.

My character made a robot mannequin for his wife to model clothes with in her shop.

The trailers also made it look like it was going to be a Cyberpunk mystery series, and it turns out to be the retarded Hot-Topic flipper handed buttbaby of GitS & Kino's Journey
