Cyborg aesthetics are cool. They're one of the older factions in the fluff, but waited forever to get a full fledged army.

Soo noob question.. In regards to the Chaos Marines Codex can I mix and match legions for max benefits? For instance can I take a world eaters Chaos lord, demon prince, 3 squads of bezerkers and then take a squad of iron warrior havocs? Or does everything in tbe detachment have to be legion specific?

16mm. I personally prefer 16mm over 12mm because they feel "hearty" when they roll. To put it in perspective, they're the size of the dice GW sells/used to sell like the Tyranid/Blood Angel Dice, the Sylvaneth dice, the Astartes Dice, Death Guard dice,etc.

So i have a question.Can new Custodes be made, or is their fluff just really poorly written? Because i just picked up a Talons of the Emperor box set and theres a line stating, and I quote "The Custodian Guard do not age biologically, so a veteran officer might be well over a thousand years old." So whats the deal? Are my golden banana boys really frauds? Pic related for proof.

I usually give in and do both Guard and Eldar. The only problem is I used to play Eldar competitively, so either I breeze through the final missions or get curbstomped if I try to do them as Guard.

I owe it to myself to hear Gorgutz' lines again though.

I think it's just something that has to be clarified. Custodes MUST have been recruiting and replenishing their numbers, because they got heavily mauled during the Horus Heresy, yet when Guilliman finally woke up from his beauty nap and told the Custodes to get off their fat, lazy asses, they're once again ten thousand strong.

I play primarines and I want to add in some allies, are sisters of silence any good? or am I better off just taking loads of cheap guardsmen to pad out some numbers?

Custodes fag here, thanks for the responses, except for that one dumbass who was clearly just fishing for (you)s, ill just presume that new ones can be made, albeit very arduosly until a new piece of fluff comes out that contradicts that.

Could be they kept the secret to making more Custodes to themselves, and use it to replenish their numbers whenever one dies or decides to retire for whatever reason. They aren't exactly made in the same way as Marines, but it's likely they keep their technologies in the Imperial Palace so they can make new ones.

Although the mention of them retiring sounds awesome. It'd be neat to see one join a Deathwatch team as a Blackshield. Also neat if they join up with an Inquisitor; a 1k+ year old pinnacle of post-humanism who is too old for this shit teaming up with a firebranded young'un of maybe half a century to flush out Heretics.

They probably can make new ones but it'll take great efforts to make a single one, I wouldn't be surprised they could make a couple full equipped Custards every century

It's already been FAQ'd that Necrons can't re-animate units that "die" from moral tests.

A literal god is responsible for the curse and it can even turn Storm Ravens into zombies.

Testicular cancer is one of the best cancers to contract, but it's still cancer.

There's been various "diseases" in the fluff that affected machines and vehicles.

It's hard to infect flesh and souls that don't exist.
