SoB are the only Imperial force outside of GK who can go head-to-head with daemons with little-to-no risk of corruption. Also Purgatus Crossbows fuck daemons, and not in the fun way

Also mutants, traitors, and heretics. Which covers almost every enemy the Imperium has when you realize that said mutants, traitors, and heretics are often in bed with xenos or daemons. Which is why the OH is the largest and most powerful branch of the Inquisition.

Except that has never happened, there's literally been one corrupted convent in the history of the Imperium while Space Marine Chapters defect over the slightest hurt feefee.

Tell that to the recent Sisters of Battle book where the Sisters not only get corrupted by a bunch of Genestealers, get their asses kicked by Genestealer cultists, but it turns out the relic they were defending "righteously" to the death was in fact a Chaos Primarch relic, politely pointed out to them by some Iron Warriors who proceeded to wipe out the Sisters.

I suspect Matt Ward has something to do with this. They used to print the bastards name in all the books he wrote but they don't display authors names in the new books. They know if Matt Wards name was on any codex people would avoid it like the plague. Matt Ward ruins everything in 40k.
To be fair, Genestealer corruption isn't the same as Chaos corruption. In any case, Mirieal's schtick is supposed to be being the only sister to fall willingly to Chaos. SoBs can be mind controlled or mutated beyond reason, with the Genestealer kiss representing the former.
It's weird that both of the two recent GSC books involve Sisters and Chaos.
