Post your Bodymod builds /jc/!

I'm more than a little curious to see how many people picked something other than Charmer

Tell me mongrels, how does it feel knowing you will never reach my splendor?

Any new warhammer jumps in the making

Except that's objectively false.

Pretty good.

It's pretty good knowing that I'll never sink as low as you, yes.

Bitch, neither will you. You're just a pale imitation of the real deal.

Are there any perks that give you intense charisma for motivational pre-war speeches? I need to Kamina an army of depressed androids!

I'll never never be reduced to roleplaying a shitty weeb character on a kazakhstanian ice-sculpting board? Feels pretty good desu.

Build: Light (free)

>I'm more than a little curious to see how many people picked something other than Charmer

I'm vain enough (and Pokemon gives Physical Fitness anyway) to go Shape & Appeal 4, but i'd rather not deal with a 2ft dick or melon-sized tits, thank you very much.
That sounds more like a drawback to me. I'm certainly not spending CP on it.
"Average" size is perfectly fine with me until i get shapeshifting perks, and Flexibility is useful.

But you were reducing to posting on the objectively worst general on this website, which is quite a bit worse.

Gurren lagann

Sure why not. Heading to work.

Not sure, is splendor the moment when you end up betraying your old friends ideals or the moment when your old friend shitkicks you for doing so. Because Archer Gilgamesh, goes through exactly both of those things.

Pretty good all said.

>he doesn't know about /scg/
This isn't even remotely the worst general on this website. Certainly this board, but this website? Nah.

>projecting this hard
Shouldn't you be in school?

Don't use it; i don't particularly like it.

Went to Kubera, blew CP to be Nastika the size of a galaxy

where to buy shoes?

Monsters Inc.

Monsters Inc has got you covered.

Appeal 2
Sense 2
Flexibility 2
Evercleansed
Metavore

If I used it anyway. I'm fine with my body as-is.

>implying most shitposters aren't adults
Besides, by posting in this thread we are both in the same position. Saying "lul projection" isn't applicable here.

I prefer a lithe, waifish build. Most of my bodymod was organized towards smoothing out some edges, fixing my vision and natural clumsiness, and making things a little easier to keep working and nice looking.
Appeal was mostly grabbed so that my hair wouldn't get all grungy, Metavore so that I can eat whatever and not get fat, Shape so that everything's nice and even, all that good stuff. I did, however, crank endurance all the way to the max so that I could go all night long.

I mean, I felt like not getting tired easily would let me keep doing all those fun things for longer, or stop my body from giving out during a particularly long session.
I'm talking about late night videogaming, of course!

Actually if someone wanted to this is possible.

Gilgamesh is a valid option for being a Servant in a Fate jumps. Which means it's also a valid option for being a Demi-Servant. So you can be Gilgamesh hosting the spirit of Gilgamesh.

Now if you wanted to be even more Gilgamesh their dead which means you can use The Real Fake from Majiko to make the body a clone of Gilgamesh's. You can then use Body Fit For the Gods from Grand Order to fuse with Gilgamesh. Then you just need to get the Gilgamesh class card from Prisma Ilya and then absorb it to get the rest of Gilgamesh's stuff.

This means that you are now the most Gilgamesh Gilgamesh.

If i don't want Endowed why would i take charmer?

I mean i'd want the Dexterity and Speed anyway, because if you're ever stuck in Bodymod form only even Strength 4 won't help you much.
Endurance was a consideration, but i figure that's easiest to train up.

And Flexibility is the best of the free options you get from Body Type imo.

...Isn't that a chain ending jump? It'd be sort of pointless to take it...

You don't have to take it as an endjump. That's optional.

Only if you take the chain ending option.

...I wonder how this speaks of me.

How do you make something like a heroic spirit act as a sort of stand?

be grand archer gil in go?

I valued vanity over power due to my first few jumps being relatively high power

I can go back to the gym anytime, but I can't get prettier

You don't get to keep your real-world physique if you buy any of the body type options, user.

I'm not sure if the Grand scenario adds more Gilgamesh or not. So I didn't include it. Although if it does we don't know if he qualifies for Grand Archer, but he does qualify for Grand Caster. Which means the later is probably a better choice if you want to go maximum Gilgamesh.

Plus it means you get to call Goetia a double faker if they still do that "I am Grand Caster Solomon King of Magic" thing.

Build: Light

I mean, it all depends on which version of him you're using.

I'd demi with kid gil, be servant caster, use the card for regular gil, and then use grand to fill in any gaps.

Tere's no point in being regular gil three or four times after all.

I'm going with 'yourself but in younger/older' mostly because I always go drop-in

And you haven't picked any shapeshifting?

What perks allow me to share benefits through blood? I know there's Blood Saint & Vile Blood from Bloodborne, Dragonheart from F/SN, and A Drop Of Witch’s Blood from Wadanohara. Are there any others through?

Nope

There's some stuff in Assassin's Creed.

Heavy Athlete [100]
Endurance 4 [200]
Speed 4 [100]
Dexterity 2 [Free]
Sense 1 [50]
Flexibility 1 [Free]
Winged - Raven [150]

No such thing as fate for those who speed. Most people like having plot armor.

The Next Generation from. seven Deadly Sins. Omega healing factor from X-Men. I... think Siren has something for immunties?

You mostly just need the card to get the stuff in the Gate of Babylon. Although if you have enough crafting skills (or minions with them) you can then just remake them to put in a more permanent gate.

However yeah if you did this picking different classes would make the most sense.

Although the main 'benefit' is being able to claim you're the closest to the true version instead of a mere aspect. Which isn't much of one.

Also this general idea also works for most other Servants. Especially the F/SN ones and Zero Assassin (Drop In with Class Card perk).

From one fucking fast person to another... You're alright, user.

If you wanted anything more than the dexterity and speed but were going to pick up 4 in appeal and shape. Plus the things with 4 dots are generally verging on superhuman and it's easier to train to two in dexterity and speed than it would be to four in endurance.

Obviously for you the athlete setup is perfect if you'd take all the freebies anyway but if you wanted to deviate at all from it and were taking shape and appeal charmer is better.

Build: Medium

I didn't need to be ridiculously strong or ridiculously fast, there are perks that gave that to me pretty quickly anyway, but there are remarkably few places to enhance your senses. Being able to go without the need for corrective lenses is crucial for any jumper, but being able to see into near-IR and perceive heat is useful in ways most people wouldn't even think of.

Metavore's useful because it (presumably) deals with any potential food allergies that aren't an outright poison, and it also means that yes, you CAN eat that entire cake if you really feel like it. And evercleansed means that when you're running for weeks through the desert or forest or sleeping under a bridge, you don't wake up feeling all grungy or end up reeking to high heavens - never underestimate the utility of THAT, both socially and practically.

You'll never be able to have that cake and eat it though, dubs-kun.

Philosophy is incompatible with baking. If I want to have a cake and eat it I'll bake two cakes.

>Philosophy is incompatible with baking.

You're wrong, kiddo.

>kiddo
YOU KNEW?!

>And evercleansed means that when you're running for weeks through the desert or forest or sleeping under a bridge, you don't wake up feeling all grungy or end up reeking to high heavens - never underestimate the utility of THAT, both socially and practically.
There's enough options for that that i'd not consider it crucial to take in bodymod.
Just something simple like the refilling water bottle from Dodgeball is already enough.

It's also potentially a tell that you're not normal, which is the main reason i don't take it. I can shower if i'm dirty, but if i need to be dirty to blend in somewhere having Evercleansed means you're fucked unless you've already picked up Toggle.

Yeah you do. It was asked by anons curious about needing to buy height if they were already tall. Go archive diving and you'll see its the greater of the two. No, I'm not going to dig it up for you. No, I don't care about your pseudo-affronted shitposts.

ah, thanks.

"Pseudo-affronted shitposts"? user, I was just responding to your question about why people would need the strength enhancement option. I'm not interested in shitposting, let's keep this cordial. If what you're saying is true, fine. I just don't understand why there would be that line saying "you may skip taking a body type, instead using your normal body as a base" if you could use your normal body as a base in addition to taking a body type. The "instead" kind of implies an either/or situation. Are you sure this ruling you're referring to isn't only about height, and not other factors? Or is it just some artifact of Quicksilver editing the image before posting it that never got removed?

/jc/, how do you deal with situations in jumps where your(or one of your companions') existence derails important plot points merely by existing? Stuff like Aang not feeling the need to recruit Toph and/or Zuko because you or one of your companions is already a friendly Earth and/or Fire Bender for him to learn from?

Starwars waifus?

>"I have seen the vicissitudes of fate. Our destiny pulls is "
>"What?"
>"ROADTRIP!"

I let the plot derail. I've read too many shitty fanfictions where the self-insert is obsessed with keeping to the stations of canon to care about it, anymore. I don't need the OOC knowledge of where the plot's going to go, between my understanding of the characters and all the super-intelligence and planning perks I have(not to mention outright precognition), that hasn't mattered to me in hundreds of jumps. If canon is necessary for someone I like to get a happy ending I'll go out of my way to set them up with something analogous, but I'm not going to swerve the plot back on the rails to do it.

Well, in that particular situation, I recruit them myself. Generally, while I'm more then happy to mess with the regular story, I do try to keep the parts I like around. And with my power and scheming ability, that's usually pretty easy to do. So, I can drastically derail the storyline while keeping all the parts I like!

>the self-insert is obsessed with keeping to the stations of canon
I never understood that actually, just by existing they already derailed the plot.

Railroad Plot from Dungeon Siege 2. Unless i want my actions to change canon they won't.
I picked it up specifically before going to any jump where i actually care about canon.

It's pretty easy to understand.
As long as you're keeping the plot on the rails you have foreknowledge.
That's a powerful advantage, so it makes sense from an in-character perspective to try to preserve it.

It's often incredibly boring to read about though.

Obviously acquire Toph and Zuko drinking buddies.

>Medium-(Free): Average height, build, etc.

All around balanced build meant to handle most anything I encounter.

Right? I'm actually surprised at how many people take evercleansed. Yeah it's useful, but you can easily hook up a simple shower in your warehouse and it shouldn't be too hard to stock up on soap. And I didn't even consider how it would easily tip people off that there's something weird about you.

The cake is figurative. You can't just bake two. You gotta figure it twice.

Also keeping a cake is vain struggle without proper refrigeration for it.

Most fanfiction SI writers are teenagers, and they don't have any real skill in writing so they can't make their own story.
I've only read about a dozen (out of hundreds) actually worthwhile SI stories where the plot changes in a significant and believable way.

Yeah, but controlling how you derail the plot is important. I want the Bei Fong dynasty to be a thing, and I want the team to help redeem Zuko.

>I never understood that actually, just by existing they already derailed the plot.
Webber and Flint's 1632 pokes fun at the maintaining the plot bit. The protagonists talk about it for a second and more or less come up with: Well, we're changing history by being here and we haven't disappeared, I guess we're good.

This sounds like about what I'm going for. I don't mind messing some things up, but a lot of good comes from those two joining the Aang Gang for example.

This sounds like a good way to achieve exactly what I want.

Oh my god, Toph would be the best drinking buddy.

Are there any real solid leadership perks? Stuff like if someone is willing to betray you, they simply don't follow you?

For some reason SI stories triggers my autism, especially when they derail the plot.

I'd say that's more true about fanfiction in general. A lot of stories follow canon without major deviations. Which gets really funny with stories where the character gets god-moded, since despite being so much more powerful than their canon version they deal with the same threats in roughly the same amount of time as their original. So they're actually less badass, despite the author's intent, because it implies this version needed the advantage to so what their original did as an underdog.

Do you lie awake at night, clutching your bedsheets as your mind refuses to think about anything else other than the existence of FanFiction.net?

Where does Supernatural stand on the scale of things? like, at what point would one be relatively safe there, even if mucking about within the supernatural community?

Thankfully no, but I do find it funny that I like most of the writtefagging on /jc/

Dumb. Anime-scaling levels of dumb.
"Oh, we defeated Satan last season, but we need a threat so now we have to fight Satan's roommate Dave who's totally stronger than him even though he hasn't even been mentioned before."

>300% Gil by volume
YOU ARE, ALL OF YOU, MONGRELS

For the first three or four years there isn't much you can't solve with a shotgun full of rock salt. Season 5 is a no-shit, full on, Book of Revelation apocalypse winding up. After Season 5 it just keeps ramping up ad nausem ad infinitum. It's safe so long as you can avoid the plot and don't derail the Winchesters from dying off and making horrible decisions about how to resurrect one another.

>in this moment, I am enlightened
>not because of the blessings of a false mongrel, but by my own Gillness

There's tons of settings where Evercleansed makes you stand out.
Something like Uncharted Waters? Pirates aren't sparkly clean.
Naruto? Ninja ARE the type to notice that you're looking freshly showered after supposedly running through the forest for a week. And the type to follow up on it.
And god forbid you have to disguise yourself as a beggar or something like that.

You can go without a shower for a while, even if it's not pleasant and assuming you haven't picked up something to deal with it.
But standing out, and especially standing out in a way that's often connected with wealth or just plain unnatural can get you killed or in trouble in lots of settings.

Generic Exalted has a bunch of good leadership perks (Solaroid origin). Not to mention that solars are really good leaders anyway, especially Zenith caste.

You can also pick up a companion in Scott Pilgrim that always knows when someone wants to betray you.

You're fine until the latter seasons, whereupon you need to be able to tank the destruction of all Creation. Ya know, no pressure.

Just stop people from trying to become God and, for fucks sake, don't let anyone kill Death. Cleavage aside, nothing good comes from killing Death.

>other than Charmer

Not me. That's probably the biggest part of this escapism that I enjoy. I will never know what it feels like to be checked out, to have that little smile across that cute girls face when she talks to you. To be able to flirt without it being awkward because they are not at all interested. To not even have the girls really want to tell you no so they avoid you or hope you get the fucking clue.

Reminder that killing the Winchester brothers solves almost all the problems in Supernatural.

Sure, although that means the angels and demons are probably after your ass for ten years.

reminder that the Winchester brothers routinely prevent The apocalypse.

That their presence or actions actively helps bring about.
