I was using /pol/ as Veeky Forums and then Veeky Forums was created around November 2013 and looked a lot like it does today. /coin/ seemed far more suiting when Veeky Forums first launched, many using the board today would agree.
However, I checked up on Veeky Forums sometime during late 2015.
I no longer recognized any of the memes. I think one or two threads had a discussion based around cryptocurrency.
