I never stood by the "female dwarves have beards" thing. I know some settings have that, but I always preferre that women dwarves have intricate braids that they weave in their hair just like the men do with their beards. So yeah, they can be pretty attractive.

Aside from Tolkien's Middle-earth, most popular/well-known settings don't feature bearded female dwarves. It's mainly relegated to wacky meme settings nobody takes seriously like Discworld.

Regardless, bearded female dwarf advocates are usually not actual dwarf fans but simple contrarians who think pig orcs are cool and would champion female dwarves without beards if bearded dwarf women were the norm.

It bothers me that the author just made Dwarven women normal humans with tan skin. While keeping most dwarves as their name implies, short.

I want to give this story more ceedit, especially since the author has reigned in his fetishes considering his last work. But this will still just be a big standard isekai with some nice art. It's little details like how Dwarvish women are supposed to remain veiled, but the dwarven princess goes into battle wearing a chain mail bikini that leaves nothing to the imagination "but she's wearing a veil so it's A-OK".

Stuff like that just reminds me that at the end of the day the author cares more about the fanservice over the plot. Like there wouldn't be opportunities in the future to see some tanned cleavage.
