Want to roll up a Mythos pantheon, fa/tg/yus?

Want to roll up a Mythos pantheon, fa/tg/yus?

Give me 1d4 to help us narrow down how many beings we're dealing with and their relationship to one another.

While you're at it, give me another 1d4. This will determine how many traits our pantheon (or the first of the gods if we don't get a unified pantheon) has.

Rolled 1, 1 = 2 (2d4)

Why the fuck not.

here.

Monotheism already. Huh.

Cool, so that means we have 1d4+2 gods, all connected in a single pantheon. So go ahead and roll that. Our pantheon also has a single trait, so someone go ahead and give me 1d20 to determine which it is.

Rolled 4, 3 = 7 (2d4)

oops

Rolled 16 (1d20)

Rolled 3 + 2 (1d4 + 2)

So where is this rolling from?

Network issues, sorry.

So, we have five gods to deal with.

And their trait is indifference. They don't seem to notice their worshippers, but devout service can still bring powers.

Sounds pretty cool so far. Now, someone give me 1d4, 1d8, 2d10 and 1d100 to determine our chief diety's title.

Silent Legions has tables for randomly creating your own mythos.

Rolled 2 (1d4)

d4 first.

Rolled 3 (1d8)

Rolled 9, 6 = 15 (2d10)

Rolled 17 (1d100)

His title is...

The Ruiner of Fuligin Deserts.

Sounds pretty wicked. Let's give him a proper name, shall we. First I'll need 1d6 to determine the structure of his name.

Wait, I'm a shithead. I need 1d10 first.

Rolled 3 (1d10)

Rolled 3 (1d10)

Sure, now I need two 2d6.

Rolled 5 (1d6)

Well, since you need a d6 after, might as well give it now.

Rolled 1, 4 = 5 (2d6)

whoop

Since I didn't end up needing the d6 I originally asked for I'll simply take the 5 from the first post and the 1 from the second.

I'm now gonna need 8d20 and that should be enough to give us a name.

Rolled 20, 7, 20, 3, 8, 16, 20, 20 = 114 (8d20)

Fhayaissglathvi Optel. Sounds about unpronounceable enough.

So, for our second guy I'm once again gonna need 1d4, 1d8, 2d10 and 1d100, and someone can also give me another 1d10 to get started on his name right away.

Rolled 7, 6 = 13 (2d10)

Rolled 72 (1d100)

Rolled 2 (1d4)

Rolled 5 (1d8)

Rolled 6 (1d10)

The title his worshipers know him by is the Ravening Feaster of Sorcery. It's not yet clear how these guys are connected with each other, but that will probably (hopefully) be easier to figure out the deeper we go.

Great, so now I'm gonna need 3d6.

Rolled 4, 4, 1 = 9 (3d6)

Give me 7d20 and 1d8.

Rolled 5, 10, 3, 8, 7, 10, 6 = 49 (7d10)

Rolled 11, 20, 9, 10, 12, 5, 13 = 80 (7d20)

Rolled 2 (1d8)

I'm gonna need 4d20 more now and then the name should be complete.

Rolled 7, 10, 8, 5 = 30 (4d10)

Bossyghimh-Jm'ke'guruz, the Ravening Feaster of Sorcery.

So, for the third guy, let's go with 1d4, 1d8, 2d10 and 1d100.

Rolled 3 (1d4)

Rolled 7 (1d8)

Rolled 1, 6 = 7 (2d10)

Rolled 57 (1d100)

Alright, and another 2d6 and 2d8.

Rolled 6, 4 = 10 (2d6)

rollan rollan
rollan on the river

Rolled 4, 1 = 5 (2d8)

Rolled 6, 1, 16, 7, 8, 12 = 50 (6d20)

And his name is...

Ha-u-J'ko, the Third Autarch of the Seas!

Given that we don't have a first or second autarch it's possible that all the gods are associated with the seas but that this guy in particular is seen as being in charge of them.

Give me 1d4, 1d10, 1d100, 2d6 and 2d8.

Rolled 4 (1d4)

Rolled 6 (1d10)

fucking autarchs

Rolled 89 (1d100)

jesus where is everyone

Rolled 4, 5 = 9 (2d6)

ill roll this all myself If I have too

Rolled 3, 6 = 9 (2d8)

>
And his name is...

Rolled 1, 11, 19, 8, 7, 3 = 49 (6d20)

Fuck my life.

Bo'x-Ij'a, Oracle of Time! By far the least terrifying name so far.

I don't know about you, but it's getting a bit late here and I should probably go and make dinner. Interest in the thread seems rather weak either way, so I might just let it die.

Rolled 6, 1 = 7 (2d6)

Rolled 3, 2 = 5 (2d4)

How's this
