Daily reminder that if play Pathfinder you're supporting child molesters

Daily reminder that if play Pathfinder you're supporting child molesters.

Well, the cringe came up fast.
Why are people still playing D&D and other affiliated shitty overcomplicated games, again ?

Wtf I love Paizo now

Sounds like portraying child molesters in a negative light.

>An evil Demon god is a child molester
What's the problem here?
They enjoy them. Same as why you play whatever hipster shit RPG you enjoy.

This.

Now, you talk about people wanting to argue their Folca worshipper is LG then we are dealin with cringe.

>endure a horrifically brutal event
>Unnatural Lust

Don't worry--it'll be removed pretty soon.

>They enjoy them. Same as why you play whatever hipster shit RPG you enjoy.
He's right though, 99% of groups play D&D just because it's the most popular thing of its quality as long as it not actively terrible.
D&D is the Wii Fit or Candy Crush of tabletop RPGs.

Fuck off. We’re full, rpg.net.

Wow, he seems triggered.

>screenshot of an echo chamber

>He's right though,
He...didn't make an assertion.
>D&D is the Wii Fit or Candy Crush of tabletop RPGs.
And both of those things have fizzled out and have done so incredibly fast as well. D&D and derivatives have persisted as fairly popular products for decades at this point.

So the gist of this is Evil Gods do Evil shit. What's next water is wet or fire is hot?

Thanks user.

Does this mean any material that contains Succubi/Incubi support rape? What of systems containing slavery?
Just because a system contains things that one can/may perceive as indecent and something to be buried does not mean those who create it directly support it.

It's just another "YOU HAVE BADWRONGFUN STOP IT" thread.

Where did paizo hurt you, user? Your mother and I are worried about you.

I just grabbed the 3 volumes of Book of Darkness. where is this located?

nevermind, found it. what a bunch of over blown crap, How did these people survive the Infernal book and celestrial direction: malfeas from Exalted?

wtf I hate pathfinder now.

Demonic Harbringers are great though, they play on more subtle, specific fears rooted within humanity rather than just being like generic undefined evil gods like Tiamat and the such. If you think that Folca or Nalmungder (delusions of safety, dark stairways and basements) or Mneoc (senility, organ failure, aging pains) or any other of those guys are unnerving or disgusting, then they are doing their job right. Its a success.
The fact that it doesn't fit into every campaign's style is a whole another ordeal, after all this is splatbook material.
IIRC its from Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Maybe, but I bet you the dude who wrote this passage was fapping under his desk all the same.

>Tira
Th-that's my name, and I'm a tranny.

This...is ~awesome~. How did I not know this?! And she's from my favorite country!

Mate. It's obviously based off Pennywise from IT.
Or hell, Little Fears.

Now that I think about it of course it's based on IT, as Stephen King is also a pedophile.

But that wasn't Veeky Forums

holy shit

okay, maybe that's just half or a third of the company, and the other writers are centrists or republicans. It's not necessarily incriminating just to single out a few wackjobs.

Totally true but you can't really blame Paizo for copying what is one of the 'great horror stories of our time'
Just because King is a repressed diddler doesn't mean that everyone that doesn't realize that is as well.

Oh my sweet summer child.

King is a pedophile? I want to hear about this.

>It's not necessarily incriminating just to single out a few wackjobs.

You mean managers, editor-in-chief, executive editor, creative director, and co-creators among others.

What alignment is this being supposed to be?

I can't find a picture of the passage right now, but It ends with ten pages of graphic descriptions of a child gangbang.

I don't know why Veeky Forums is so surprised at the amount of trannies in the hobby. I mean, this is a hobby about pretending to be something you're not.

The book of IT has a scene in which a bunch of pre-teens gang bang their collective girlfriend in a sewer.
Tell me that doesn't send up a tiny red flag in your mind.

Because of the sex scene in the novel IT, which uses sex as a coming of age ceremony after the slaying of the monster.

>this is a hobby about pretending to be something you're not
It's a hobby about simulating party-based adventures. When did we get so lost.

To be fair it hasn't always been that way, prior to VtM the hobby was moderately conservative.

t. literal knights and wizards

It doesn't. One scene in one book with an actual literary link to actual coming of age ceremonies in the real world tribal cultures? Not really.

Now, Piers Anthony's clear obsession with little girl's panties over the course of all his Xanth novels, not to mention the novel Firefly (no relation to the scifi show) and the seriously creepy Cthon and Pthor books...those should really twist your girdle.

Why didn't you post the image of the staff having a mental breakdown trying to explain why a fertility god would encourage homosexuality, that's a good one.

Sounds more like him trying to be edgy than anything to be honest.

I dunno, maybe gods are supernaturally wise and intelligent enough to know that gays are real nd not pretending? a Good aligned fertility good is probably not going to hate fags and people who don't want to marry or have kids.

That's the best part, there was literally no reason for them to go full retarded like they did having previously established that in their setting homosexuality is a non-issue and widely practised publicly.

Neutral Evil.

It's literally the exact same "logic" that caused the satanic panic. It's in the system, and therefore supported by the game. Doesn't matter to them that it's an antagonist thing that normal player characters would fight against.

>paizo continues to bend over backwards for a bunch of triggered redditors
Wew

>retarded faggots continues whine about Reddit.
Wew

He's not, Veeky Forums just can't actually handle anything you wouldn't find in a book by Franklin W. Dixon; they just like to talk a big game.
We talk a big game, but it turns out that neckbeard virgins just can't handle anything other than blood and furry porn existing in the world.

>if you play a game with a thing in it you are supporting that thing
Daily reminder that if you play dungeons and dragons you are supporting dragons.

King was addicted to cocaine when he wrote IT, what's Paizo's excuse?

Oh, user, I've got boku no pico saved to the hard drive, we're well past played out Slender Man ripoffs.

Yes, I would like to support dragons, thank you.

I mean.
I am supporting dragons, thanks.

>Not burning them onto discs and sending them to your family at Christmas time with a fake return address
Faggot.

>not Kodomo no Jikan
Shit taste in con user. Loli is life.
Anyway, I don't get why paizo is so upset about something they already produced. It's pretty tame, too considering they have soul desroying demons.

My son's gonna get something extra special in his stocking this christmas.

Paizo was protecting sex offenders, while Wizards of the Coast is probably not doing likewise with dragons.

>Paizo was protecting sex offenders
When did this happen?

When we say go back to r.eddit you aren't supposed to come back dragging it along with you like a cat with a bird's bedraggled corpse.

>prior to 1991 the hobby was moderately conservative

Is he a notable author? I've never heard about this guy. Wouldn't critics pick up on that if he were?

I'm not either. The hobby is also full of the incarcerated, the formerly incarcerated, lower class individuals, introverts, and teenagers who weren't into their parents' ultra-religiousness.

I'd figure the hobby would be moderate-libertarian since most of the people who were against it were ultra-religious conservatives. Jack Chick springs to mind as someone who is universally despised by the tabletop community. It could also be left-libertarian since morality and ethics can be explored and thus there is a tendency for "ifs, ands, and buts".

All sorts of people who tend to wish their lives were something more.

>KnJ
God, that was such a good manga up until the last few chapters.

what happened?

The problem is that a fertility goddess would by necessity make a value judgement which sees heterosexuality as superior.

The setting can be a rainbow love parade, but if there is one non evil being not declaring sodomites perfectly normal and equal that is deeply problematic ...

I dunno, does a god of life necessarily make the value judgment that death is evil and anybody dying under any circumstances is a breach of cosmic justice? Does a god of magic judge that any action one could take by magic, must be done that way and not with physical effort ("I could walk to the kitchen and get myself a glass of water... or I could fabricate/create water one") or else it's an abomination? It sounds like you're claiming that any deity must take their portfolio to an absurdly single-minded extreme, which is a bit ridiculous.

I imagine if the deities are vying for human worship than a fertility deity would want as many humans to have an interest in fertility so as to worship it. If x% of the population has no need to be fertile due to not wanting to procreate than that's x% of humans not needing to worship the deity of fertility.
It would be like x% of magic users -- in regards to fertility this would be x% of fertile individuals -- not wanting to use magic. If the number gets high enough than the deity of magic might start seeing cutbacks in their worship numbers which could hurt the bottom line, if one so needs it. Granted, if the deities don't need human worship than why keep humans around? Sounds wasteful to answer their pleas with no return. And, if humans aren't getting their prayers/sacrifices answered, why worship the deities in the first place?

Good job finding yourself

>Does a god of magic judge that any action one could take by magic, must be done that way and not with physical effort ("I could walk to the kitchen and get myself a glass of water... or I could fabricate/create water one") or else it's an abomination?

No, it likely see the magical way as superior. As the fertility goddess would see heterosexual sex for reasons of procreation as superior to sodomy (regardless of the genders involved).

Or she might just make it so gays can get asspregnant, and everyone is happy with the compromise

how fucking old is that marriage equality post?

why is uganda's highest peak named after a pizza

Because you're as likely to climb it as you are to actually get a pizza to eat.

weyyyy

jesus christ. works in the gaming industry and has 357 followers. I flip fucking burgers and have over a thousand.

>and the other writers are centrists or republicans.

The company is stationed on the West Coast.

Why is "amazing" and "awesome" the go-to words for these kinds of people? They're always gushing like little kids about things.

Well it depends on who you ask. A good portion of the people who kept reading for years are lolicons, and they were just fine with the MC hooking up with the loli in the end. But for those who weren't, it came out of left field. Mostly because it betrayed the massive amount of character development everyone had gone through. Actually, even a good number of the lolicons were upset with the ending.
