Orks r STILL da best!

It's not coming back is it?

Anybody ever get to throw a shock grenade with Reivers?

First for left-handed models are shit.

...

That cat has really toned thighs.

Maybe we will get the various forms in a repack
It's minority representation, enjoy

xth for cheeky nurglings with grenade pins.

official sculpt when?

Is there any way to play this game without interacting with the worst filth humanity has to offer, fat greasy guys with long hair, black heavy metal t-shirts and khaki shorts?

Someone did it to me once, but that was because his Rievers had ended up on the opposite wall from my models so I couldn't shoot them to death, then used their grapnel launchers to cross the whole building and land right next to my guys.

no

Get some friends.

looks like the jesus fresco desu

meant to post this.

youtube.com/watch?v=5_E05-L1ltU

You could wear a mask?

I don't get this meme, which models are left handed exactly?

TTS is honestly shit, VR or not.

Kharne the betrayer is left handed.
My dude here is also probably left handed.

The models with a 3 foot sword in their offhand, and a pistol in their mainhand.

I've been interested in getting into W40k, but am not sure what faction to get.

I thought about getting First Strike, but Death Guard and Ultramarines don't interest me.

If I do go for Space Marines, I'd rather go for Primaris though.

THIN and WASH

you shoot with your right hand you faggot

are you going to bitch about solid snake being left handed?

Tell me about your Tau anons.

I'll list some primaris models because they're recent.
>Ultramarines upgrade arm
>Primaris Reivers
>Primaris Chaplain
>Primaris Captain
>Blood Angels Primaris Lieutenant
>Dark Angels Primaris Lieutenant

Just leave it, bitching about handedness is /40kg/'s current favorite shitpost.

The ones I care about are in a case and have been since the 6th edition codex. The ones I don't care about are in a cardboard box somewhere in my old apartment, destined for Ebay but selling them right now is a waste of time because of all the rats jumping ship from the faction at the beginning of 8th.

And that's really all there is to say.

I don't want to play them, I don't want to paint them.

Yep, he's shit. So are 4 out of 4 of the ork warboss models. WTF, GW... 90% of us are right-handed. Get your shit together, and learn how to melee.

They are having a comfy sit on the shelf of purgatory. Kinda want to paint something for them incase the codex is good but at the same time no motivation when they get curb stomped whenever i bring them out.

What do you have and how much do you want for it? I may be interested.

Anyone care to give a plot synopsis or spoilers for the book?

Imagine CA releases a general rules change; "A roll of 6 always hits, just like a roll of 6 always wounds."
>How would this change your playstyle?
>How would this change the game?

Any Chapter Approved leaks beyond the community page?

You're cute. You kept trying to get everyone to talk about their army hoping more people would talk about Tau, but they didn't, so you've started to slowly narrow it down to just wanting to talk about Tau. QT.

yeah the deleted post had a notice that VR is still fledgeling and not good yet for Tabletop.

I just personally believe VR is going to open up another option for playing tabletop games eventually.

Exclusively playing top tier, so no tau

>How would this change your playstyle
It wouldn't

>How would this change the game
Hit penalty armies would be slightly less obnoxious, but still obnoxious

>get my group to start playing VR rpgs
>"more realistic and immersive" they tell me
>the first time they run into an attractive female npc they all start mumbling and frantically avoiding eye contact
I think it could be amusing.

Eh i am just trying to get a general feel about how people fluff their tau. Trying to write up some fluff for mine and don't wanna get too overboard.

Natfka had a couple lists of the faction support, which is basically confirmed now since it accurately called all of the stratagems and shit that were spoiled by GW. What do you want to know?

It's not exactly a rare topic to post to stir up discussion. What makes you think this is the same dude?

I have nothing to contribute, so here's some shit.

The sword goes in your mainhand (not a little bitch knife, but a real sword). That means the pistol goes in your offhand, you autistic fuck.

t. A guy that has used both swords AND pistols... bitch.

Admech, Eldar, and/or Nid related news.

A 6 always hitting would make me happy for Orks.

a Co-op VRPG would be amazing.

The NPCs could be wooden but the party banter could be amazing.

Being able to use hand motions and body motions adds so much to what's possible to convey

Hey guys. I finally made my first army using the start collecting for daemons of Nurgle. It was so much fun!
Is it worth getting one of each start collecting and trying out all the armies or should I just start focusing hard?

I honestly don't remember exactly what I had since I dropped the faction hard when the meta shifted around the Riptide. Think I had a bunch of the old FWs, some Pathfinders and some tanks and that was it. I know I had some metal Vespid but I lost them, and an old Broadside but it's been in pieces for years and I've lost most of them. And the Riptide I bought before I realized it was a mistake.

I'd have to actually go back there and dig it all out to tell you, but I'm not due back there fore at least another week or so.

Just collect what you like the most

>Codex army
>Codex army
>Codex army
You won't get much other than points adjustments. We know Cawl is going up, but then GW already told us that. Nids are so recent that you won't get anything new for them, either.

Light Orange so:
White Spray
Thinned down Fuegan Orange shade over the white to start.
Paint it over one of the 3 orange layer coats: Jokaero Orange, Troll Slayer Orange, Fire Dragon Bright.
Lugganoth Orange Edge
Fuegan Orange Shade

For the fleshy bits, it's a bit hard since GW don't really have a true violet colour but I'd go:
Naggaroth Night, Altdorf Guard Blue or Caledor Sky, one for the base one for the edge then hit it with a Druchii Violet shade wash.

The claws will just be regular bone claws so maybe screaming skull with a ushabti bone drybrush

Continuing, are there any Primaris Black Templar models / are Black Templars any good?

Lots of characters.

Casino dice are hard as fuck and will break models if you hit one of them.

If you really want to be try hard without fucking up your table or models get precision backgammon dice.
bgshop.com/index.htm

Obviously this shit is fucking expensive though, they are designed for money games & tournaments of backgammon. The fully precision dice are like $100 for 12.

The 17mm semi-precision you could get 12 of for $35 so that's more affordable.

The alternative is just buying transparent (makes it easier to see bubbles/imperfections) chessex dice which you can get for 12 for $7, buy a couple blocks of those and then just do the water test on each to check it's not horribly unbalanced.

From Other Suns was a great way to approach that. It's pretty much a "FTL but in First Person, and Co-op".
> Doing a boarding-action only run
> Sitting on Comms with my whole crew of 3 other people, I'm up on the bridge taking us between destinations.
> Everyone else either hanging out with me or teleporter.
> Go to board some merchant ship and kill the occupants+take their shit.
> Whole party enters the teleporter
> Tactically sweep and clear the entire ship, brother's military and has taught everyone first-hand how to do room clearing.
> We use actual military hand-signals in our room clearing.
> Generally have an amazing time.

Can confirm, some of the best games I've ever played are in VR. It's really going to be the future of all gaming. Another game you might want to look for is Orbus VR. It's very primitive, but more or less a very fun rpg experience.

nice paint job so far, thinned nice. Maybe add some highlights?

If you want precision why not just use a dice app?

Feel free to disregard every Marine on that list since they are literally all ambidextrous.

Point adjustments are what admech need though, just need to what's getting reduced. IG are a codex army and they're getting Marbo. DG are also codex, and they're getting models.

Solid meme. 8/10

Should the Iron Warriors even have Helbrutes in their forces?

I've read they usually start replacing mutations like this things with bionics and cybernetics, making it an oddity to see things like this to me.

And what the heck do most Legions even do with things like Helbrutes, Chaos Spawn and Warp Talons?

Those don't seem like things you can leave to their own devices without it going awry.

A-and all Orks and Eldar are t-too.

DG aren't getting any new model rules, their December releases are just stuff from the codex that still needed a model.

I'm not too familiar with AdMech but if your shit is generally overcosted then you can reasonable expect price drops. Most everything we know about that isn't a memetastic unit like the Stormraven or Guilliman is going down.

>Guard and DG are getting updates
But user those are actually popular armies also the former's rules are likely to be an in-the-box deal rather than CA, and the latter's models already had rules in their codex.

Feel free to regard every Marine on that list since there are literally no ambidextrous options for us to model them properly.

This probably wouldn't make too much of a difference since most players play Space Marines. It would definitely help out Orks or R&H fighting things with stacking -1 to hit mods like alpha legion with the nurgle -1 to hit power.

Why is the a Genestealer Iron Warrior?

Your next line will be "k-kek, it's third p-p-party, it doesn't c-count...!"

because it takes something away from the physical nature of rolling

Then why do they all choose to do this?

Rolling dice is the worst part of tabletop

I was thinking people worried the opponent is loading their dice or that their dice are inaccurate. It should probably be the norm to use dice rollers app streamlined for 40k in competitive events just to save time

But if you want a left-handed boltgun marine you have to convert him...

Dominant right eye.

Then get a dice tower.

Np man, I've been interested in painting some firewarriors and love getting second hand models on the cheap. I'll be here if you ever get around to it.

They don't.

>Rolling dice is the worst part of tabletop
Get out.

As a wise Veeky Forumser once said, this is the order of dice rolling:
1. Using a dice tower
2. Using a dice cup
3. Using a dice tray or box
4. Rolling on the table
5. Killing yourself
6. Digital dice

Pic unrelated

Correct, it doesn't... you left-handed mutant.

I hope Crons get to convert normal damage to mortal wounds on nat 6 wound rolls with gauss weaponry.
>Dat average 0.108 mortal wound per shot.
> 40 shots deals 4 mortal wounds average.
>Finally have a reason to take gauss over Tesla
>Can even use Warrior blobs to chip away at vehicles now.

Best girl

Are there any GOOD armies that have low model counts?

I kinda want to try an elite force like Harlequins, chadmarines, or maybe custards.

Hell, maybe even tyranid warrior spam.

Good, fuck the 10%. Majority rules, lefty scum.

Your the best girl.

T-thanks senpai

Painting those things at the front looks like it would be infuriating.

The 6th ed CSM codex said that Helbrutes have their bodies deactivated and restrained inside their legions ships, letting the driver to sit and fester in agony. Generally the life of being trapped in one is considered worse than death.

Within the Iron Warriors are "half-breeds", csm who were grown from stolen imperial fist gene-seed. They are generally looked down upon but are tolerated, but I could see a warsmith using a helbrute as a particularly cruel punishment for a quarrelsome half-breed.

Best girl bringing in the true facts, lefties btfo.

Welcome user, papa nurgle blesses you.

Maybe Codex Tau and Codex DW

I guess 40kg saw that new study that shows left handed people have a higher IQ on average

What's the big Saturday reveal, Anons? Primarch?

You wish, you mutant fuck.

You have to be kidding. Your neckbeard training doesn't count for anything.

Sanguinius

>To determine the handedness of each participant, a questionnaire asked subjects which hand they preferred for writing, drawing, throwing, brushing, and other various activities. This was done to build a more reliable and powerful model.
>The researchers found that left-handed male adolescents outperformed the rest of the participants in tasks involving difficult mathematical problem-solving questions.
Sorry brainlets. Left handed people are objectively superior. Nice that Games Workshop worked that scientific fact into their game.

As a left-handed person, I like seeing lefty minis.

>20 years active duty
>neckbeard training

years active duty
...with a sword?

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to be left-handed. The difference is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the specialized tools will go over a typical rightie’s head...
