They can give you equivalent exchange-based stage magic, and then you can summon things like dream eating dogs or giant hypnotic plants that feed on emotions.

Oh, and if you lock one up in a Victorian-era ship motor you can use it as a motor. It'll make it really angry, though.

Yes, but I can't remember where. I know it's in one of Val's jumps, one with a capstone booster because I remember that the boosted effect was to let you cheat and get backup while the enemy still had to fight solo, but past that I'm blanking.

Nah, you're thinking of the perk that makes enemies attack you in melee instead of just shooting you. Black Dynamite doesn't have one for them attacking in a series of one-on-one bouts instead of teaming up on you.

I just had a dream about a live action JoJo movie, made in the West, that tried to present a sympathetic Dio who didn't know he was adopted, and looked up to Jonathon as a (slightly) older brother figure. But deep in his heart he suspected (because of hair and eye colours), and whenever their dad would tell them "I'm proud of you", he interpreted it as a singular you, instead of plural (he mostly said it when Jonothan succeeded at something, and Dio failed to emulate successfully). So when he found evidence (letter in a book in the library, obv.) that he wasn't a part of the family, the fears and insecurities he'd been hiding in his heart came to the surface, and he used the revelation to rationalize his descent into hatred and darkness, and he starts hanging with a bad crowd who accelerate it. The movie ends with him stealing a stone mask as it arrives in a parcel, sent to his adoptive father by an explorer friend in South America.

That sounds terrible. Never say such awful ideas out loud, you never know when the imp of the perverse will hear it and compel a Hollywood executive to make it.

Not sure how to feel about that. On the one hand, Worm does really good work (Sword and Sorcery, Worm itself, etc.), so it will be a great jump. On the other hand, Worm's already working on the Cyberpunk jump and a Worm update, and those are coming slowly. A Necron jump will probably take far longer. Guess waiting is all we can do.

I'd rather wait a few months for a good jump than have someone shit out a mediocre one in a few days or weeks.
