Warhammer 40k open day

disappointed...

You got a variant Primaris lieutenant. Be thankful you get anything at all for an army with no effective rules for its 3rd to 10th companies.

>tfw afterthey make all the primarchs they will make "Nova Patriarchs" which will be Guilliman's personal clone sons or the Emperor's secret inheritors that he reveals to the Lord Commander when shit really hits the fan.
>tfw every imperial faction will start amassing literal hordes of millions of sue-monsterous characters that will buff the fuck outta everything and come with their own equally sue bodyguards and warmachines to stomp whatever the fuck is left of chaos.

It's because of fucking Necromunda. Nobody asked for that shit right now. They need to hurry up and release the Codex books for all of the 40k armies.

Yep. GW spreading themselves too thin. Blood Bowl is effectively dead in the water after we were told monthly updates. 40k updated models seem limited to Marines and Death Guard at this point.

>Nobody asked for that shit right now.
That's just a lie and you know it. People have been asking for Necromunda for decades, and when it finally comes back other people now wants something else.

Veeky Forums is made of different people who want different stuff, ergo making it seem like they're never satisfied.

Who could have thought?

I don't think anybody wanted to be trickle-fed gangs over a year long process and to have all the rules spread out across two books at release with a third already announced. He's also 100% correct about Blood Bowl being stagnant, which doesn't exactly bode well for Necromunda's continued support.

but but but sly marlbro man. but seriously new guard infantry when?

>I don't think anybody wanted to be trickle-fed gangs over a year long process
So totally different to the original necromunda release which had all the gangs straightaway.

Wait, no it didn't...

A, GW wasn't anywhere near as large then.
B, they weren't just making updated versions of already existing miniatures.
C, old Necromunda didn't delay updating 40k in one of 40k's most dire developmental straits.
D, you didn't even attempt to defend the blatant cash-grab with the books.

nuGW is a bunch of cash grabbing shitbags who can't into PR, more at 10

Yeah, I would rather they finish releasing the codex and doing updates models before doing necromunda.

>nuGW is a bunch of cash grabbing shitbags who can't into PR, more at 10
That sounds just like old GW...

The fact that people refer to GW as nuGW (or make remarks to that effect) is a crushing PR victory for GW. They've managed to trick tons of their audience into believing things are different now, despite the rules being just as shitty as before, the cost being just as high as before, and the faction favoritism being just as blatant as before.

It's funny because of the development cycle of these games (several years btw), the old fucker was the fucker who put this all in motion.

Also Necromunda and side shite isn't delaying codex releases - they're on a set schedule for a reason - it spreads out purchasing for customers which actually helps with return and getting people to buy. Keeping up interest and feeling like shits being supported.

Now, stop being fags. They fucked up with gang releases and multi book shit and the board game element hence why most people I know will hold off for a while.

I don't blame Necromunda/GW for not spamming out all the codexes immediately, but Chapter Approved being so shitty is a big problem, especially after the bungled Necromunda release.

Production process is about two years for the case of specalist games, a bit less, considering that silver tower was the first thing Roundree ordered to do and it took about 15 months.

>old Necromunda didn't delay updating 40k in one of 40k's most dire developmental straits.
Yes it did. Only now they have a seperate team for specialist games.

Faggot.

Not to mention that AoS apparently has to be content with an occasional hero figure (which has a 75% chance to belong to exactly one faction) and vague promises of anything more.

> Blood Angels used to be the 9th legion
> Codex Blood Angels 9th codex to be released
> Dark angels keep secrets
> Lion El’Johnson gets secret release

Well played GW

Anyone have a pic of the giant Adeptus Mechcanicus walking tank and the artillery piece?

When spacewolf codex, i need the special rules for my Space Puppies before i get desperate and switch to Thousand Sons

They have been this bad since the mid 1990s

You get a warlord trait where your warlord can always fight first, the Krakenbone sword; a -4 AP plaguesword; 2 strats- one so you get outflank back, one so you can rapid fire bolt weapons in combat. Be happy you snowflaking faggot

>>an actual SW player calling them puppies
Just fuck off.

I came to this thread to see a bunch of crying bitches.

I was not disappointed.

I have never heard nuGW used in a non sarcastic way.

Any sisters info yet?

>before i get desperate and switch to Thousand Sons

That's like saying I need gay marriage to become legal everywhere before I get desperate enough to turn straight

So I can rule out xenos in my army search. And I already don't want Imperial. So which chaos army should I play?
