Empire Steam Tanks

This vehicle lacks suspension systems. Even simple affairs such as leaf springs. It may have enough guns to kill lots of Chaos Worshipers, but it is easily defeated by a dirt road.

t. Bretonnonian "engineer"

That's why it's called EMPIRE Steam Tank, not Bretonnian Steam Tank, or Cathay Steam Tank, or Tilea Steam Tank or some other barely functional nonstate. The Empire has actual roads to drive them on.

Has anyone tried to convert these with treads for 40k?

The Empire having only 8 steam tanks really was a dumb idea

This is why dwarves are the better engineers.

How good were these on tabletop?

Uh... The Empire's steam tanks from Tilea.

from Gunnery School of Nuln (Reikland province) actually

I know, right? I have more than that in a single army in TW:W.

Invented and built by Leonardo da Miragliano

Lel. Tracked vehicles are a class of their own. The Mark I didn't have suspension because it moved at walking pace. The GW steam tank will sink in moist grass.

It's got a suspension of disbelief

It's crew were often rattled unconscious.

Quality post.

...

Who made them in Nuln for the Empire, hence "Imperial" faggot

...

It's based on Da Vinci's designs which, most certainly, did not actually function/work as designed. Often times this was intentional on Da Vinci's part

Sorry user, but the proper name is "Fucking Steam Tank!".

Are they kill in AoS?
