After several days, I’ve finally given up on trying to make a CYOA an my iPad. All of the image-editing apps (free and costly) are unsuited to it.

So what now?

For reasons beyond my control (a drunken roomate), my laptop has been totally and utterly destroyed. I will continue writing the actual material for my CYOA, but will be unable to create the image to go along with them until around mid-March.

A lot of people don't really understand Ancap, all because of that poor name. Ancap doesn't mean no government. It means that no government has the natural right to rule people. All men have natural rights and are governed by natural laws. They can, however, join a collective for the purpose or organization and defense. A state, if you will. The constitution, which outlines the rights, responsibilities, duties, et cetera, or both the state and the citizen is, in a way, a contract. A citizen can join this state, can enter his land into the state, can become a citizen, and is beholden to certain laws. If he breaks these laws, he can be punished. If other people break these laws, so will they. And if the state exercises more power than it has the right to exercise, the citizens who entered land into it have the right to secede, and even those who entered no land always have the right to leave, to vote with their feet. And if a landed man is unhappy with the state, but they have done no wrong, he can still leave at any time, but might not be allowed to really secede.
Do you understand? This is just my quick example. Anyway, monarchies are better than democracies.

I get what you mean by how a government should mostly be a contract, all in all good explanation. Not sure im fully behind it, couldent just let a guy with strategic land leave with it after all, but its a start.
Think an Elective monarchy would work best currently. Every county should have a hereditary count. That count should have an adviser elected by his people and his people alone, voting in a community not your own should be harshly punished. Said counts and advisers should then elect one amongst the counts to serve as duke for that region, a proper duchy. And a step further is the dukes and their advisers elect a king in much the same way. The people get representation, the social divisions of mass democracy is avoided, and since all nobles are beholden to their family holdings this encourages divided development rather than mega-citys that plague us currently.
This of course, only works with a population that is armed and un afraid to call out corruption. I call it the right of rebellion. Should a group find disatisfaction with their rules, they have the right to take up arms against him. In such an event all other nobility not directly under him are forbidden from interfering. For example, a count would stand alone against them save for his household guards. While a duke could call upon his vassal counts, but they could just as easily side with the people in hopes of reward, publicity, doing the right thing, or to simply increase their chances of being elected when the old one falls.
