They think that's how the world works.
Nothing more.

you could've posted an actual picture of a king or a baron or even of a knight to represent someone of power. but no, this thread is just an excuse to post your loli garbage

just go back to /a/. that should be the containment board for this weeb stuff anyways

What made you think that feeding the troll would discourage him from making more troll threads?

Generic pictures do not attract attention, lolis do. People will either be creepy weebs who like that shit or assmad normies like you who get T R I G G E R E D. Either way OP gains bumps for this thread. It's a classic move.

Why ya guys gotta be like that

>Bumping a thread that you believe is just shitposting
Are you a retard?

Kings, emperors, dukes, barons, and the like have money and usually use said money for the betterment or maintenance of their realm. There are exceptions, of course, but they're either propped up by competent underlings or they get killed off by someone who they screwed over.

Knights are usually cool. They're still warriors, they're just responsible for keeping some soldiers on standby and a bit of land management.

My character is a knight, and is about to be promoted to a baroness. She doesn't think much of nobility at all, and for her it's all means to an end. The mandate of rulership must come from a divine entity, not from some ridiculous ancient lineages. Aristocracy is bad, and theocracy is the way to go.

It's not a quest, so it's okay.

>Knight
>Female
This doesn't make any sense

Welcome to the world of fantasy, enjoy your stay.

Really hate these faggots that get butt tickled about female “knights,” these guys need to grow up

>What does your character think of the noble class that that stands above them?

He has a very difficult time respecting the 'urban' ones who were given their title through birth since maybe 1/3rd of them are frail, entitled, homosexuals.

He came from a frontier community where the nobles held onto their title through their 'noble' deeds of keeping control of their communities and protecting their vulnerable people from the surrounding dangers of the wilderness: dinosaurs, fey, beast men, trolls, etc..

>Not devoting your life to the loli princess.

Plebs, all of you.

Gender doesn't really matter 99% of the time in RPGs, when was the last time you honestly thought
>Man, if only my character was X gender, so they could do y thing. Damn.
The only time I honestly think it matters is if you have to charm someone of the opposite sex to do you a favor or look away. Even then, charisma or a similar stat usually does the same job.

>Man, if only my character could have kids and continue her heroic legacy without falling out of action for more than nine months

His father was a petty lord before being forced to give up his lands for harbouring a coven of witches. Not that he much cares; his father is a much happier as a freeman, allowing him to spend more time with his wife or on the road. The squabbles of lords and nobles do not concern him, even when his own methods or actions concern them, in turn.

I'm not sure. They're the reason he has the job he has, and on the other hand his job kind of implies killing a lot of them.
So-so I guess

>noble class
>that stands above them
Yeah....nah

>dukes
Nah
>kings
Nah
>emperors
Only the ones he votes for

My nigger

fuckin remove nobles

My players are fairly typical, a whole lot of "What are you going to do about it?" when any authority challenges them but never quite taking it too far. At least they've tucked tail in other situations instead of mouthing off and getting killed.

(Also OP sucks cock.)

kill yourself, newfag

...

Once. There was a joke that gm took too far. "Imagine the king being a country-wide celebrity. Doing performances and country tours when not styling around his castle and doing normal political shit" is what we joked about.

So we got a royal line of bard-kings, each trying not only to be a decent ruler but also having his own gig. We would hear tales about King the Fourth performing fire kung-fu showcases with famous adventurers and generally being way more hype than King the Fifth who had mediocre stand-up performances.

It was weird

Why even make a female knight if you want to play them like a man?

>Man, if only my character could have kids and continue her heroic legacy without falling out of action for more than nine months
"Man, if only my character was a wizard/super-scientist" is what that's saying to me.

Shit meme.
No true (spiritual)descendant of Charlemagne would ally with the bastard son of the bastard of Europe(England)

Honestly, there are times where my yank boner gets so hard I do want to include a fantasy republican govern in one of my games.

The idea of a society where knights are highly-trained warriors made up of volunteers from all walks of life instead of just nobleborns expected to fight because of their social class is really appealing to me.

>Le "son of Britain" meme
Anglo revisionism to co-opt the achievements of a country they nearly bankrupted themselves to destroy. A friend of liberty is a friend of France and a friend of America.

>Dukes and Kings
psssh, profligates.
>Emperor
Yes. He respects that guy. Unless his fellow senators are down for a regime change, of course.

I tend to really enjoy playing Noblesse Oblige hero types, highborn who truly believe in the duty that their station brings and that they must dedicate themselves to doing what the peasantry cannot, for the good of land, country and crown.

It tends to mean they have a very strong view of the nobility, right up until the point a nobleman fails in his duties, abandons his obligations or otherwise abuses their station for personal enrichment. That tends to lead to righteous asskickings and thorough educations via beatdown in the true meaning of nobility.

As a burger, when a flicker of romanticism stirs in me that outshines the dismal state of affairs over here, I salute our frog brothers in arms.

He knows his place at the foot of his betters
Probably literally given the last couple of games I've played have been vaguely ERP one with DMs that know I have a femdom fetish,

user, abort

ABORT

When he comes from, there are none. Navigating the pitfalls of this stratified caste system has been one of his biggest headaches.

>Noblesse Oblige
I always try to have at least one of those figures in my games. The idea of a person who believes first and foremost in their duty as a nobleman is absolutely superior. Bonus points if the setting is post-medieval

Yeah, it's something I really love playing with. I'm under no illusions that it's anything like a realistic notion, but it doesn't stop me enjoying the archetype a hell of a lot.

but nobility is given by divine grace, it's the god-given order of the world

The gentle laborer shall no longer suffer from the noxious greed of the aristocrats! We will dismantle oppression board by board! We'll saw the foundation of big business in half, even if it takes an eternity! With your support, we will send the hammer of the people's will crashing through the windows of king's house of servitude!

Steve, we already told not to drink Lenonaid before you game.

What is a land wihout a king?

OP, remember to always fap BEFORE posting threads on Veeky Forums, please.

Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

You need to make them dumb and fat too.
Can't have America without dumb and fat people.

>Doesn't know anything about history.
Current americans probably don't care about ethnicities at all, but in the past they were hardcore WASPs.

Yes, and?

He doesn't give a shit about them.
Being a machine, he'll outlive them with ease, and good fucking luck trying to make a war robot that can shoot fire and uses an entire door as a melee weapon obey you.
Asking nicely, however...

Remember how Jesus said render unto Caesar what was Caesars?

Remember how the Caesars were invading, murderous slavers and rapists?

Vengeance is Mine, says the Lord, I will repay.

That means not you.

It proves my point.

>Remember how the Caesars were invading, murderous slavers and rapists?
No. The kikes deserved it

What about this thread remotely suggests that this is filled with fetish content that is used to jerk off? The image is provocative to an extent but it isn't blatant hyper fetishy cheesecake.

A proletariat paradise where the means of production are shared by the gentle labormen, and where the political rule is the will of the soviets

Shouldn't a good number PC be knights? Buying armor and quality weapons isn't exactly cheap.

all my characters are implicitly maoist

Nothing, because cossacks are not part of the hierarchy, almost consider themselves nobility were anyone bold enough can join in, and bow to no one but God and the Tsar.

Because Henreader draws lolicon porn and OP called the girl a loli.

>The image is provocative to an extent but it isn't blatant hyper fetishy cheesecake.
And that's what's beautiful about it. Though I'd appreciate more detailed furniture / background. Call it acquired taste.

You're one of those people who sperg out over filenames that have tumblr in them, aren't you?

Yes you are.

OP's pic is safe so what?

youtube.com/watch?v=uftblhnw5fA

This is drawn by Asanagi, who is a common mindbreak, Loli gang rape artist who has done amputee, guro and other such things.

If I call the person inside the armor a "bishonen" or a "bara" or hell, even a "shota in disguise", by your logic I'm posting fetishy content.

At least Louis knew how to die gracefully instead of attempting suicide by shooting his own jaw off and then being captured. Robespierre was a shitty populist who couldn\t even kill himself properly.

>Asanagi draws DS 3 because it's recent, trendy and mainstream
>ShindoL draws DS 1 because he likes it the best
really makes you think
>neither of them bothers drawing backgrounds

Why? It's been fun so far

>I recognize that as being from Henreader
Fuck. I’ve been ruined.

>called the girl a loli

Well, she is a loli

At least on a tabletop game this could actually work, since it never works in real life.

many find it funny that people get assmad about people posting cartoon pictures of little girls on a chinese little girl cartoon forum.

Poor you. . .. .
Don't forget to brush your tooth before sucking so much fag

Fools, the lot of them.

They think themselves allpowerful and immortal: they don't know that at the rate everything is going, that this world will face destruction and ruin. My character has a profound distaste for fools in power and will do whatever it takes to complete his objective of releasing Alchemy back into the world, in order to avoid the extinction of his people and the ruin of the planet.

My character is a fighting-man of Gunderland in the Hyborian Age.
He understands feudalism is there largely for military purposes rather then social ones, and so he respects aristocrats who take their military obligations seriously instead of rich fops who just waste space and money.

That said, it IS the Hyborian Age so if it ever comes between him and some noble the noble better hope he’s carrying a sword and can use it to defend himself.

Do you actually understand that China is a communists country, and has one of the best economies in the world

he doesent respect most people, noble or not

hell gladly take their money to do whatever it is hes told to do however

>modern china
>communist
It's authoritarian crony capitalism.

How would they pay for it though?
The problem with being a knight is that it's expensive as fuck, even without the social aspect.

I guess the equipment could be made for the republic with public funds - merchants want there to be well-trained, well-equipped warriors to protect them, but they don't want to do it so they fund a pool of equipment for the defence of the realm.
Maybe have a notable force of marines as well.

Stupid people is just peasants, that's fine.
Fat people... I mean, a fat merchant or monk is a standard trope.

If you really want to play up the American nature of them you could have them be Burghers... which would probably fit pretty well, though it might feel a bit like a HRE/WHFB Empire ripoff. Especially if they like guns, which they should.
And a union of city-states and their territories into a republic would fit for a not-US - and explain the "federal" thing.

Okay, now I definitely want to do a fantasy-style US expy, and see how long it takes people to notice

He's essentially the second-in-command of the church of the Northern Dragon (a walking god of sorts), and both the Northern Dragon himself AND the queen of the Northern Kingdom are both shenanigans-level trolls who will prank you to the ends of the earth (for instance, by trying to change your name to Sir Straight-Man the Humorless and sending you on the weirdest legal text binge ever trying to prove they can't actually do that)

Much of the nobility sits around and does nothing, but those ones don't live for very long because of current world events (namely some massive wars)

I would respect an aristocratic loli for sure

>Meh

My character was born a noble, so I suppose she respects them. She knows the pecking order and follows it because she was raised to.

>Exiled Lord of a city, went mad fighting a black dragon. Returned 10 years later as a high cleric with a dragon waifu for the local death church, took over the blacksmithing guild
>the dukes previously under him speak to him as a peer
>works closely with a powerful but benevolent financial backer/evilish summoner that has the newly formed empire by the balls
>Accidentally invented the only AoE healing ritual in the world, so he’s needed any time there’s a major battle.
>Essentially he considers himself separate but equal to the powers at be.

As a ranger who mostly lives outside regular communities he doesn't care, but he despises the nobility and institutions that abuse their power especially because his parents died because of a power hungry duke

American Revolution =/= French Revolution

>How would they pay for it though?
I would probably fluff Knights as basically Fantasy America's Navy SEALs. They're not the bulk of the military, just an elite component where participation is entirely voluntary if incredibly difficult.

The army itself would be a professional service a la Rome. Any able-bodied man can join, and receives training, equipment, and pay.

...

One views his superiors as people to impress with his daring escapades and tales of adventure. The other doesn't care. Not for any noble cause, mind you, he just doesn't care if the person paying him is a highborn blue blood or a scum covered sumpsnipe.

My character is mutant from the Underhive who successfully has been a imposter noble. That's why he was recruited to serve in the Inquisition.

No, he knows how corrupt and arrogant imperial nobility is. He is also very careful around them because murder comes easy.
