wacky over the top batshit crazy Alpha Legion Theorys GO

There is no Alpha Legion.

Alpharius actually was killed by Dorn. However he has so many body doubles indoctrinated to follow and enact his plans to the letter it ended up not mattering.

The twins orchestrated Alpharius being 'discovered' by Horus. The space pirate thing was a cover for their real upbringing only they know.

Omegon had a hand in creating the Deathwatch, essentially to see if he could adapt the cell-like structure of the AL into Kill teams which covered as many skillsets as possible, feeling the AL where lacking in many and as such unable to complete whatever his aims are. He created the Omega Vault after learning of Alpharius death, and resides within it using it as both a bunker and information centre from which he subtly enacts his plans.

Due to chronal displacement during warp travel, the Emperor, Malcador and Cypher are all Alpharius ( or are they Omegon?).

Alpharius.

Cato Sicarius is actually Alpharius (or is he Omegon?), and he has been slowly eroding (or supporting?) the Ultramarines from the inside

Omegon is Actually Alpharius and Alpharius is actually Omegon and Omegon is actualy Janus of the Grey Knights

While i've always thought the Janus thing was cool and made sense, recent HH books make clear it wasnt Omegon and actually was a shard of Magnus.

>Alpharius actually was killed by Dorn.
But the question is was it Alpharius in the first place and again where the fuck did Dorn go?

Omgeon was full loyalist throughout the entire heresy and had a bunch of AL be loyalist be pretend to be traitor thinking he was Alphairus and giving them orders to kill other AL confusing who was traitor and who wasnt to maybe through a wrench in Horus's plans

The Alpha Legion just wants control over all the various factions of humanity, and xenos if they can manage it.

Most schemes and plans and theories tend to result in AL having a role or controlling the entire conflict so its honestly a pretty simple and straightforward goal that I'm surprised a lot of 40kers don't get.

Chaos, loyal, renegade, heretical. All these titles mean nothing to the Legion, as long as their interests are advanced no matter how complicated (aka the Legion gets stronger in the end).

I view the Alpha Legion actually like a hotline between different cells in wildly different factions, like a daemon prince hydra dude talking with some sleeper cell Chapter Master on how to coordinate strikes against common enemies or transfer resources etc.

The entire Ultramarines chapter and all their successors are actually the Alpha Legion now. Alpha Legion is actually made up of lost Ultras who though Alpharius is actually Guilliman (he is, the Alphas are following Omegon).

The Alpha Legion is capable of "beating" 40k and being mary sue because they know how it works and can get their hands on crazy arcaeotech that lets them make all the Primarch clones they want.

And are probably working on cloning the Emperor, which pisses him off so there is a secret ghost legion-custodes conflict that has been raging even worse than the black crusades or the apocalyptic wars that we know about, as the dark and light crash, mix, and occasionally ally against even worse enemies of humanity.

Guilliman is Alpharius in disguise.

They were actually sextuplets, although the remaining four siblings were little more than vestigial fetuses buried under the surface of Omegon's skin. After Omegon killed Rogal Dorn and disguised himself in his armor to kill Alpharius, he eventually faked his death and fled into the Eye of Terror. A random mutation acquired from chaos exposure has awakened the sentience of the four vestigial siblings, and each of them have pledged their service to a different chaos god in exchange for control of Omegon's body, but they are all preventing each other from taking it for themselves.

Alpharius, Omegon and the entire Alpha Legion are a gigantic hivemind as a result of flaws in their geneseed, thus all of them are Alpharius. Alpharius' ultimate goal is to have the Tyranids assimilate his mind into its hivemind, allowing control over them and the ability to consume everything into his hivemind.

From there he makes everything Alpharius.

Alpha legion is a simple idea of underhand sneaky space marines, taken to Xtreme retardation levels by memers and the people beneath them BL authors. Alone amongst the pile of waste that is AL fluff is FW HH fluff. The only good AL fluff that is modern.

Cawl is actually an Alpharius Clone and Primaris Marines are secretly Alpha Legion chad marines.

Alpharius was killed by Dorn, but only because Omegan arranged it. After Dorn did what Omegan had no stomach for, he snatched up Dorn and strong-armed him into his wacky 4d chess match with the rest of the galaxy with the ultimate goal of saving the Imperium. [/spoiler]

Unfortunately, Alpharius' followers follow his orders to this day, so half of the Alpha Legion is still trying to kill Chaos the only way Alpharius could think of - by killing its food.

VERY unfortunately, because of the nature of the Alpha Legion, it's hard for any particular marine to know which side they're on, since they could be a double, triple, or quadruple agent at any given time.

tl;dr There is no Alpha Legion, MOVE ALONG CITIZEN

There were actually three brothers, being primarchs II, XI, and XX
Alpha, Omega, and Sigma

Sigmar

This is something I've actually heard before, either Alpharius or Omegon are not a person, but something of a bodiless soul that can inhabit any of his legionaries as needed. This is how Alpharius can be anywhere at any time, he's actually a soul jumping bodies to be where he needs. It doesn't explain Omegon feeling Alpharius' soul extinguish when Dorn kills him, unless it's Omegon that's the phantom.

Why did you feel the need to post that, I kind of thought the post made it obvious

I'm okay with this. Fits nicely with the Trefoil/3 heads motif. It doesn't even need to have any purpose beyond a deceased(?) brother.

The Legion is fractured, broken, and operate all by their own standards. Some of the Legion remain loyal, but know that the Imperium will never believe them, while others have gone full traitor.

However, they all refuse to ever identify themselves, both to each other and to anyone else.

This is why the Legion seems to have such varied and often counterproductive goals.

boo

Alpharius and Omegon both joined Horus as double-agents, but neither one knew the other was a secret loyalist.

So they both pretended to be traitors and undermined the other's efforts.

The Alpha legion is such an enigma to me because all most all of the legions are so rank and file "straight up and down" but then the AL is so different and has never had any real form of structure just...confusion but i suppose that is their whole gig isnt it?

This is the one that always made the most sense. I get that the Alpha Legion were this big construct of super secret guys doing super secret guys, and that their plans were actually fake to hide the tertiary plans that were actually the bait plans while the first plans were the real plans, but a Legion isn't going to be of one mind. It really didn't matter in the end whether Alpharius and Omegon were loyal, traitor, or something in between. The legion was still human, and were going to have some differences in opinion that butterfly into vastly different organizations.

It makes you realize that the guys going nuts in the green highlights and skulls attached to his belt, running with the chainsword is still just as much of an Alpha Legionnaire than the shiny silver-blue one who is Whiskey-Tango into the India-Tenfour. When everyone is Alpharius, so are their varying ideals.

Alpharius met that group of aliens that told him what he needed to do in heresy times.
Alpharius goes about playing his long game.
Then autistic dorn fucks it up by killing the guy, royally fucking up everything unwittingly.

GUYS what if
Alpharius/ Omegon dont exist at all? what if that is just a ruse? Alpharius/Omegon was described as a large astarte with a height of almost 8ft8 roughly, almost all of the Alpha legion looked identical and at the beginning of every battle they would cry (in unison) "I am Alpharius" what if their never were Alpharius or Omegon, their biggest secret
