Gentleman Adventurer. Something like Henry Hat

Paladin+Rogue or Vigilante or Inquisitor. It'doesn't have some kind of name like Avenger or something, and my best hope would be that it's like a Good aligned Assasin-Type class?

sworth.

A decent SoM class.
A decent SoM sphere

Conscript is fine if you ignore most of the specializations that cost too many feats.

Most of the spheres are bloated trash though.

Isn't that just a Sanctified Slayer Inquisitor?

.....dammit. didn't know that existed. I'm not one who looks at the inquisitor often...

Inquisitor's probably my favourite class in first party just because it's got a good combat potential, can meaningfully contribute to the narrative, is versatile enough to fit most concepts, and loose enough to match many character backgrounds.

Posting again for more visibility at the beginning of a thread.

Now I would like to discuss an aspect of the UC Wizard. I previously posted a blurb about Arcane Mastery:

>Arcane Mastery
Arcane Mastery is a new feature I have included for spells above 6th level. I firmly believe that these spells are often too strong and warp the game around them, both legendary spells and not. So Arcane Mastery will be based on one's Arcane Breakthroughs. This class feature comes into play once a wizard has access to 6th and above level spells.

I am still working out the details on how exactly this will work, but your maximum number of spells in a particular school above 6th level will be bound by how many Arcane Breakthroughs you have in that school. This will not be an exact 1 to 1 ratio, but rather add up in a simply chart. Like this:
># of Breakthroughs/# of Spells
>1/1
>2/2
>3/3
>4/5
>5/8

This part is still up in the air as it may be too limiting to wizards. Unlike Legendary Spells, spells gained via Arcane Mastery do not require Arcane Energy to prepare. Another idea I have thrown around is instead having each time a breakthrough is taken in that school you gain a number of level 6 and above spells in that school. Meaning essentially via taking the Extra Breakthrough feat you can gain extra spells.

Now the question is what you all would believe is simpler/would prefer? A max number of level 6 and up spells of a particular school based on your arcane discoveries? Receiving a number of level 6+ spells to your spellbook when you gain an Advanced Arcane Discovery (arcane discoveries would be split like many other talents to above level 10 and below level 10)? Having access to level 6+ spells as normal where you can scribe them in as need be? Something else

I basically treat Sanctified Slayer as my default vanilla Inquisitor these days.

>Skyfall has a Kobold app, who fills the desperately vacant arcane caster slot
>It's a grognard 30 something
Half-yay?

Post the names by category and dick/pussy status

I typically only assign alignment to characters as a mechanical formality. In actuality I prefer to assign a philosophical decision making idea to my characters, and have that govern the kinds of actions I take.

So in a campaign, I like to treat it as a different set of approaches I'll take to a situation. Like this for example. The party needs to storm a building and kill all the occupants:
> The Stoicist paladin will first take the time to clear the area of all innocents that might be hurt by the battle, and then ensure that only the party is present to enter the building, doing everything by the books.

Whereas my chaotic evil, self-serving wizard would attempt to manipulate the crowd into attacking the building for him. Why put myself in danger when I can get poor hapless bastards to do it for me? She's incredibly narcisstic, and would always prefer to put the party's life above that of anyone else.

Anything that steals Oracle's Mysteries and puts them on a gish. Ravener Hunter was close, but needs houserules to get all the way since it doesn't actually modify other features to be Cha. Bonus points if bonuses to Will

There's that Exploiter wizard, isn't there?

>TFW Skyfall GM pretends he wasn't shitting up last thread in the r20 and then he goes ahead to start shitting up this one

>At 4th level, a gingerbread witch learns a unique hex that lets her create a piece of candy or a similar sweet as a full-round action. If eaten by the witch or a single creature she designates when she creates it, the sweet functions as goodberry or a polypurpose panacea (as determined at creation).

>functions as goodberry

Does it make multiple berries, or just one berry?

Why are F-listers so cancerous?
More like F-grade, am I right?

Furries.

I wish Paladins had more flexibility. One of the few things I like about 5e is that it gives Paladins more thematic options, including ones that aren't guaranteed to fall just by associating with a typical adventurer party.

Is there a feat to up the times you can use your racial SLA?

Yes.

I think there's some for specific SLAs, but not for all in-general.

PoWfags are too fucking many in this app. And they're all female for some reason.

>people want to melee competently

oh nooo what a shameee

What about monster feats?

>what a shameee

Possibly, but those you usually have to check with your DM even if you qualify.

Aren't these mutally exclusive.

How does Polymorph Any Object work?
The first sentence of the spell says that there are no restrictions on what you can turn into, and doesn't provide any guidelines for how to apply these changes.
There's no text to state that it changes your physical/mental stats or grant/remove any abilities you possess based on race unless you use it to duplicate a greater polymorph or something.
For instance, if I take literally anything with stats and transform it into an outsider of any kind, does nothing happen except a change of appearance? If I turn a stone golem into an equal size boulder, does it lose any stats? Does it still gain 5 int?
If I use it to turn a wall into a door, does the door have the stats 10 10 10 5 5 5?
This spell doesn't make any sense to me and seems to barely do anything. What it seems to do, if you don't replicate one of the given spells, is add missing ability scores to the target and then change its appearance, making it basically just a better fabricate spell that makes intelligent items or a basic appearance change to the assumed form without any ability score bonuses and/or natural abilities

Maybe, but lewd roleplaying with a 30+ adult man would push me to suicide

>implying it wasn't in response to bait

Its a dual meme you dip
I bet you don't even know who J.C. Denton is

...

Didn't you hear, user? FotJR folded a few weeks back. They lost one of their players who wasn't feeling the group dynamic and then the whole thing fell apart over the holidays.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving group of shitposters and attention whores.

Uh-huh. I'll believe it when I see proof from an actual, reliable source.

youtu.be/ZbGw3A9Dg-Q
>implying anyone can't just wiki who that fucker is

Also i couldn't find what i was looking for under monster feats, are there wondrous items that could work?

>I apped to the most clogged up slot by a mile

can I steal buildings from other cities with teleport structure? it does allow the object a will save
>archivesofnethys.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Teleport Structure

>If you don’t wholly own the structure, all of the structure’s owners must consent to the structure’s teleportation before the spell is cast; otherwise, it fails immediately.

What explanation is there for there being high level ex-adventurers in old age that can't or won't adventure any more?
Given that most high level paladins or monks never fucking age, that explanation is likely out.

>There's a spell called Teleport Structure
>It doesn't let you do anything cool like collecting monuments on your estate
Sasuga, Paizuri.

Adventuring is an extremely dangerous profession and even death is far from the worst thing that can happen to you. People getting out of it once they've made more money than they'll ever need makes a lot more sense than them not doing that.

>No, you see, if we let you actually do anything with [POTENTIALLY COOL THING], someone would abuse it and do [THING THAT PEOPLE WANT TO DO], and that just abuses game mechanics.

can I use polymorph any object to turn a single stone into an entire castle made of stone? it is the same kingdom(mineral), class(stone), intelligence, and they are related (castles are made of stone), which results in an 11, thus permanent

They got sick of it.
Also this.
Yeah fuck gamebalance and bullshit. Let's just have people teleport structures across the planet. It's not like magic fucks daily life up enough already. Let's have any old fuck with an imp and a scroll take whatever/whoever they want wherevever they want for what amounts to less than 5000 gp.

Also because I now have more time to work on I am asking everyone what Unchained Classes they would most want to see?

Wizard is a pet project of mine, but I want to take up another that people want to see changed/improved. Any classes are up for grabs besides the ones I have already done. Just the class name and maybe 1 sentence of what you envision a dream remake would be like for you would be fantastic. Maybe I should make a poll.

You don't need to ask for consent if all the other owners are dead.

If the other owners are dead, that means the ownership passes to their heirs. And if all the heirs are dead, then things get even messier.

Squatting doesn't make you the owner.

If you want combat capability in a game that uses PoW, you have to have PoW.

you could always use spells + muleback chord to buff yourself to insane strength and trow in ant haul and an alchemist's mutagen or whatever you can think of until you can lift the building. Then you just need one casting of greater teleport

Of course! After all, the only options are having annoying and nonsensical restrictions or no restrictions at all, right?

>Squatting doesn't make you the owner.
Tell that to the two golems I stationed around the place.

>not having a campaign about tracking down monuments that the villain stole
It's like you hate fun.

>Of course! After all, the only options are having annoying and nonsensical restrictions or no restrictions at all, right?
How the fuck is "you need someone's permission to teleport their property" god knows where nonsensical. Because if you remove that restriction that ridiculous scenario is what you're going to get.
>Fuck why bother with this adventuring bullshit, just send a hireling with a scroll in and poof the dungeon right next to town?

Congratulations, you are now squatting with two golems stationed in the place you are squatting

It also requires that the structure be in a settlement you control and end up somewhere else in that settlement, which limits it to only being at all useful in campaigns about settlement building and keeps you from doing interesting things with it.

>hich limits it to only being at all useful in campaigns about settlement building
It's almost like that's the fucking point of the spell or something. Do you complain that spells like Anti-Tech field are useless in most campaigns too?
>doing interesting things with it
And by interesting you mean flat out fucking broken. Because that's what spellcasters need. More ways to fuck the plot and internal consistency in half.

>Paizo does nothing to curb the narrative disrupting power of tier 1 casters!
Here's something that could has seriously narrative disrupting potential, but has limits placed on it by Paizo
>Fuck Paizo, they never let me have any fun!

I mean when you really think about it, aren't we all the squatters? The king is just squatting with his army stationed in the country. This is like that on a smaller scale.

You can use fiatium for that.

>How the fuck is "you need someone's permission to teleport their property" god knows where nonsensical.
It's nonsensical because there are no other spells with such restrictions, the concept of ownership isn't well-defined in game terms(do you really "own" something if you bought it with illegitimately acquired funds? If you kill the previous owner, can you loot the structure or does the ownership pass on to someone else? And so on and so on.), and because there's simply no fucking reason a spell without lawful description would give a damn about lawful concepts such as who is the legitimate owner.

>Because if you remove that restriction that ridiculous scenario is what you're going to get.
So you're still pretending your false dilemma has any merit? Go fuck yourself. It's not going to happen because the spell ALREADY has other restrictions, and because not having that particular restriction does not mean there shouldn't be other restrictions, you retarded piece of shit.

Jingasas have serious narrative disrupting potential?

>And by interesting you mean flat out fucking broken.
Yeah, because being able to steal a statue with a spell that takes 8 hours of uninterrupted casting is SO FUCKING BROKEN, right? Just fucking kill yourself.

And the fucked thing the bullshit they're asking is just some stuff to engage in some loony toons bullshit.
You can already steal statues with spells. This spell is calling out entire fucking structures. Don't be this retard and start bitching about something unrelated.

>You can already steal statues with spells.
Not if they're bigger than what you can carry.

>stealing a building with a 6th level spell is op
I could always just curse terrain the house and buy it at a dirt cheap price for a same level spell slot. Or use geas/quest. Or mind swap to become the owner

So why the fuck do you complain that you can't take it without being to owner when you can apparently cheat and become the owner some other way? Assuming that you are the one who complained about it.

>>stealing a building with a 6th level spell is op
It is. It's firmly within the realm of abilities PC's shouldn't have access too.
>I could always just curse terrain the house and buy it at a dirt cheap price for a same level spell slot. Or use geas/quest. Or mind swap to become the owner
First one is fine. Second one is fine. Third one isn't fine in that it wouldn't work as you don't become the person you mind swap.

Ant haul + shrink item + bulls strength + teleport
I don't see the problem

No, Jingasas have narrative SAVING power. It's just that Paizo cannot tell the difference between something that's beneficial or detrimental to a narrative.

I'm not. I'm the guy who posted the spell first

Hire someOgres or get the barbarian to do it
.>Ant haul + shrink item + bulls strength + teleport
Also this.
>Second one is fine
Well, this depends really. Can you really say you "consented" to something if you're being influenced by magic? I mean most people would say fucking someone under the effect of charm/dominate is rape.

if none of the witnesses have spellcraft, they don't have any proof

>if none of the witnesses have spellcraft, they don't have any proof
DC 15 perception. And it's the magic that cares about the consent, not a jury.

No perception sense motive, my bad.

Is there a weapon enhancement for proficiency?

any spell that magically altered consent doesn't work for, such as atonement, states that specifically, thus I assume that magical compulsion does not matter for consent unless otherwise stated

Ioun stones

d20pfsrd.com/Magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/h-l/ioun-stones/opalescent-white-pyramid-ioun-stone

I know about that one, I was just curious if something like that existed for weapons.

I think proficiency feats are Combat feats. So you could use Training.

Is it viable to just have one big stronk undead minion instead of having like 20 skeletons/zombies following you around? Is it just a glorified animal companion at that point?

you could just use the magic item pricing guidelines to apply it to the weapon for 5k, or 7.5k as a secondary enchantment

Gonna be playing my first game of starfinder tonight
i dont have much pathfinder experience either
i have an idea for a bug man smuggler who sells and uses chems but i might change it when i see the other players characters
what class/classes are good for beginners?
what little things should i know?

I would say that a single undead with double your CL in HD is better than an animal companion

Redpill me on Thaumaturge, /pfg/. Is it good? Does it work as a not!Wilder? Or is it garbage.

Dip Incanter, take the rest of the levels in Thuamaterge take conjuration talents+Master of the Universe feat. Congratulations, you went from playing PF to playing Brigandine.

I mean, you're not wrong.

Stop using WotC art for "Paizo Games General." It's confusing as fuck.

can I spontaneously transform a random pebble into any number of connected stone buildings with Polymorph Any Object? it would be permanent duration.
>archivesofnethys.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Polymorph Any Object

Training, it's a +1 that grants you the use of a single combat feat.
