Pirate Ladies

Gonna be playing in a pirates game, and am looking for a human or elven Captain Amelia type.

In the meantime, post whatever pirate ladies you like.

Madame Ching is very clearly a PC. Starts as a prostitute, becomes a Pirate Admiral, trolls China, Britain, and Portugal, retires, keeps her loot, opens a casino.

You are just mad because he is right. :^)

But he is wrong and stupid just like you.

There's something about Carmen Sandiego hats that say "Captain Amelia" to me (even if it's not something she'd wear), but not much luck finding pirates / sailors wearing that kind of thing so far.

Not that I'm complaining, but why do the majority of pirate ladies have red hair?

Or are people actually trying to fill OP's request for Amelia-types?

Don't you diss grandma

Looks like a similar art style to Darkest Dungeon

I wanna plunder a pirate girl’s treasure and enjoy the booty

You simply must tell us where your wonderful witticisms originate from. How do you manage to be so charismatic?

Literally based off of the artist's mother

>I could bandage the cut on my arm and change into a clean shirt, or I could just sit here and drink more rum
>yeah, I'm gonna drink the rum
A true pirate.

My esteemed heritage is of no concern here. What I do ask myself is where a mollusc found legs to walk, only to be still stuck at sea.

Any non-rule heavy pirate systems?

I mean, a lot of rule-light games are setting-agnostic, so you could play pirates in them. But I'm not aware of any specifically pirate games, no.

Lady Blackbird, perhaps.

I'm fine with a rule-light naval one as well, doesn't have to be Pirate-specific but include all the things pirates are famous for. A ship combat that involves all players would be benefical. I'll check Lady Blackbird.

Depending on what you consider rules-heavy, 7th sea is literally made for it

I thinks it's a subconscious aesthetic thing, it goes well with colorful pirate themed clothing and a parrot on shoulder

Don't know if it's rules heavy or not but there is Poison'd, which published by the same company that published Apocalypse World

I'd shanghai that booty.

Is it possible to avoid the stupid setting?

Depends how much effort your GM puts in

I think that's just a man with pretty hair.

Bump clams?

I'm uncertain of the potential of that particular sex act as far as viability for both or even one partner to get off.
neat.
