I had a huge ass lightning storm last night, which my roomie said should never happen in January, but I didn't hear anything about the rest of the midwest getting fucked.
Plus, it's like 8am for us. We're either in class, at work, or still asleep.

Because of severe storms, all trains in Germany were out of order on thursday. Not a single line was serviced. Beyond that, our weather is generally chaotic right now ... temperature changes, snow, hail, rain.

I read all of Starry Knights and even made a build.
A lot of pages is not a problem for me, but the whole magic + futuristic science plot is a bit too much for me. Sometimes I have to read several pages a lot to understand the mechanics and the plot

sk makes my pc lag if I scroll fast.Also, while it has a really high page count, the pages themselves are really short. It's still too long in my opinion, but mainly because a lot of choices don't have much depth. Lots of small choices make it feel a lot longer than it actually is. I know that some people like 1000 minute choices to fully customize their builds, but I just don't really see the point. Endless lists of skills, weapons just seem like bloat to me.

I'm pretty sure every waifu builder so far has had some option in regard. The main issue is that they are incredibly generic - to the point that you can create the same kind of character in all of them. None of them really offer anything different (except for the genie one).
I feel like a tomboy builder would just fare the same fate. Unless you had something specific in mind?

The Yandere builder is actually pretty good, indicating that focus might be what Builders need. And like the "Yandere" type there are a lot of ways you can go with the general idea of a "Tomboy" (especially if you lump Reverse Trap in)

I think the concept could be better served with a picker, though. Part of what makes Tomboys so good is that you want to connect with them on an intellectual level, as a person (seeing that tomboy is about interests and outlook as much as style), and I feel that particular need would be better served by having more fleshed out characters.

Are there any good /cyoag/ related books on how to write characters? Going at it without any guidelines is kind of daunting to me. I've been searching for a design theory book for characters, but I didn't find anything that looked reputable.
Analyzing characters that I like hasn't really helped me much either, because I have been unable to really isolate any concrete qualities and they are too dissimilar for me to really spot any patterns (beyond the really obvious stuff). I'm not even sure if a reductionist approach is really all that appropriate for this.
