Khorne's followers are always pissed. They dont take gleeful pleasure from their constant war the way orks do.

Nurgle is portrayed as a sense of being content, satisfaction at a life lived. Not necesarily a bad way to spend eternity, but basically being rocking chair grandpa for eternity, sitting on the porch for all time doesnt really sound appealing to me personally. No doubt that nurgle wouldnt be a bad way to end up, just not my preference.

The road to nurgle tain is surely a lot less enjoyable than falling to slaanesh. Slaanesh demands that you strive for utmost perfection, likely living a life full of the inate satisfaction of doing better every single day, always improving. Nurgle is basically being so depressed and diseased that it becomes a permanent comfort.

Yeah, great movie. The cenobites didnt represent excess, however. They were torture machines through and through. They took on aspects of their lives in their deaths. The body horror aesthetic was meant to show thr cenobites pleasure in inflicting pain, not any kind of desire for them or to become them.

honestly hellblasters with heavy plasma incinerators for general 'fuck you" dickery, 36" str 8 (9), -4 ap, D 1 (2), and they get 2 wounds a piece.

if you are looking for anti tank specific, then either Land Raider Terminus Ultra, Devastator squad with 4 lascannons, or an Imperial Knight or Warhound Titan. There is a Sicaran venator tank that space marines have access to that utterly fucking wrecks tanks, but its up to you.

Add some gun drones to the pathfinders for albalative wounds woupd be my guess but I don't know if PF can still take gun drones this edition, haven't looked at a tau dex since 5th.

So I'm thinking of making an Imperial Fists successor chapter that plays up their predecessors' autism with a sort of "Taskmaster" like theme. (Also maybe with a bone motif, but I'm not sure ). Although I'm having a bit of block as far as naming them/fleshing them out more. Any suggestions on where to look for inspiration?

The custodes had been more or less trapped on terra thanks to bullshit laws, and their own sadness. They sure as heck fought at the Lion's Gate, and were the only reason along with some null-maidens, that ghilliesuit was able to launch his crusade.

yeah, there was a demon invasion of terra after girlyman had a telepathic heart-to-heart with the god emperor and left to start his crusade. that was the final straw that made the custodes finally get off their ass and do something.

I recall reading some fluff about the Fists having an obsession with carving (though I can't for the life of me find it again, so maybe I'm just misremembering) So I like the idea of incorporating obsessive tally marks or notes or something on their armor and equipment. (which could also play into the aforementioned bone motif)

Going by the lore above, Nurgle is best good. He is genuinely a nice and loving guy.

You could havw it so that they're similar to nurgle tallymen, marking their armor instead for every successful engagement. Chapter Master's armor is just black rather than bone because of his acheivements.

Thats the point exactly. To fall to slaanesh you spend a lifetime chasing your aspirations, fulfilling lifelong goals, always imrpoving. To fall to nurgle you live a life of misery, pain, and heart ache.

In both cases, your reward may be an eternity of hapiness. In nurgle's case, its simply being content with what you are given, blissful despite your afflictions. In slaanesh's case, you are happy because you fulfill your dreams on a daily basis.

A slaanesh win state is literally heaven for mortals.

Confirmed for not chasing dreams. Progress is its own reward, user. Slaanesh is not the god of running in place, slaanesh is the god of new experiences, decadence, and gratuitous perfectiion. There will always be satisfaction, even if its just the satisfaction of breaking your personal "biggest cock before tearing" record. Slaanesh keeps her toys pretty, even if it is by a very subjective standard.

I think they are great! But question for you. Who would buy them? At gw's current plan/pricing, even if they somehow got miracle pricing like 10 skitarii for 40 bucks, you need SHITLOADS to play. I would not replace my 200+ boyz sculpts for a taller boy with more fierce screeching. Most ork armies made now a days are a product of ebay resales, or old starter set quantities floating around.

TLDR: nobody would buy 5 orks for 50 bucks. At least in 40k where you need HUNDREDS.
