Its a pretty nebulous term right now. Mostly it refers to armies which use a broad keyword (e.g. "Imperium") specifically in order to include combinations of units that are exceedingly powerful togethe, like Gulliman + conscript hordes, multiple demon Primarchs, ect. In typical /40kg/ fashion usage has spread - some use the term for any multi-faction army, regardless of lore sensibility (some call this a "curry" army), and it has now extended to mixing faction keywords within codexes, like having shooty and stabby hive fleets in the same tyrannid army.

Predictably, the wide definition and links to WAAC/CAAC wars leads to a lot of skub flinging.

I love my Maulers and often run 2.

It isn't actually a worse Mutalith. It is only 2 points more expensive (may be wrong but all I saw from leaks is Mutalith is 150 base, may have to buy weapons), but Mauler's attacks do 2 damage each and fists do far more. Mauler can also get full rerolls from Daemonforge stratagem. I see them as pretty comparable but outside 1kSons/Tzeentch Maulers look far better.

TS DP does indeed look awesome. They get cast 2 Spells a turn instead of just 1, get better invuln and access to that CP stealing relic.

Question is what is better:
DG DP or TS DP? I'd say DG because of how much tougher it is with the FNP and 2+/MW relic.
