All the newer battletomes don't have the rules at the back anymore and each seems to be adding a faction specific way for summoning. This makes me think that they may change this up in the next edition.

That's a good question. The only realms that move are light and shadow, which somehow mimics the movement of the sun and the moon, but that wouldn't affect seasons or weather.

40k has plenty of normal earth-like worlds.

For all AoS says that there are places people can live normally, the planes are still all 'elementally' themed.

Every realm is finite, but it would take an entire lifetime for someone to go from the middle of a realm to one of its edges.

Slaves to Darkness. I wasn't sure which gamestyle would be the best for me so I finally decided to start an army with 5 different ones. Also I like daemons models so I can just run a stron core of slaves models but add some daemons for extra flavor

StD models are the best GW ever made. Once I paint all the warriors I'll assemble a few knights and I'll convert a few blood warriors.

They are, but they're pretty monopose too. You can have a lot of fun with the paint scheme though, there are pretty good examples on the GW webpage.

I don't mind this desu. With so many new weapon bits it will be super easy to give them different weapons and some character. Also I like the fact they look like a wall of shield - I want to field a legion of warriors rather than bunch of ballerina heroes

It feels like its going to introduce 40k's stratagems, which get boosted if you have a harbinger.

The issue is, it feels like its gonna fragment the playerbase with those who get it, and those who don't.
