Poor Freezypop
Getting himself wrecked as usual

>want to do serious chain
>also want “Jumper gains an increasingly large harem through Wodehousian shenanigans”
Aaagh. It’s so frustrating to be torn like this.

Well Freezypop is still in play. Toppo isn't.

>80s Action Movies

>Razzle Dazzle
>Sword & Sorcery

These jumps should be moved to the Generics folder whenever Brutus is able. Also, are there any other "Generic" jumps that aren't labelled as such?

Who needs powerlevels when you have a dog spinning at incredibly high speeds

youtu.be/TBbKyplbhQs?t=13

I wanted a serious chain with my jumper slowly going mad from loneliness, but he ended up being followed by the Konosuba girls, a group of succubi and in the next jump (Ah! My Goddess) a group of luck gods. He went from crippling depression and always being alone to a bad anime.

> Toppo isn't.
That's what's known as winning the battle but losing the war.

Would an artifact breastplate from exalted be able to stop a bullet to the chest? I know normal plates are useless against guns but what if they're made of special materials and have magic in them.

Are you for real right now?

9 to 5
career model

too

>Wanted to do silly chain about superhero Jumper and the misfit friends they made along the way, battling a narcissistic, hammy space demon with the powers of love and friendship
>Wind up with a chain about a group of determined, scarred heroes hunting down an arrogant cosmic horror that seeks to bend all life to its' will using mind rape, torture, and all the fanaticism and madness a religion dedicated to such a being could have
You and I seem to have had the opposite problem. You wanted serious and got silly. I wanted silly and got serious.

?

I imagine it would depend on the artifact (e.g. its level, which material(s) were used and what properties have been crafted into it). I don't know enough about Exalted to say more.

Besides Wakfu do we have other jumps based on french cartoons?

Totally Spies and I believe Ox Tales?

Conflicting ideas happen a lot, cause unless you go in with a theme and really stick to it adamantly, you'll be struck with ideas on where else it can go and end up with something different. Writers often experience this when writing stories, a story they were writing was written with the theme of vengeance could by the end be about forgiveness.

>Wanted to do a chain about a horrifying manipulator who's willing to do anything to stroke his own ego and have control over others, whether through his own force or through mental corruption to his will without a care for their well being.
>Wind up with what amounts to jumper that has really bad abandonment issues so he unknowingly manipulated individuals so that he has people that genuinely care about him and can't bring himself to not care about them.

>....sometime
Can we at least assume at this moment taking demihuman 300cp with EI does make you more in tune and powerful with your natural abilities at the least.

Or is it that at the moment it is pointless to have a companion take them together

Along with this , we also have Code Lyoko, known for the massive foreheads of the cast and for the main villain being an AI that's basically what you would get if Satan and Skynet had a lovechild.

Sure. I mean, it's not really a complicated thing. EI doesn't give any new boosts to any of the powers, all it does is give you a couple centuries of training with them. The only one that's not going to be straightforward is that the Doll option won't make you stronger than Fate.

Gotta recommend you a 26 episode french cartoon based off a french comic with fighting, love, demons and good people

Haha. That looks pretty alright.

We have Mysterious Cities of Gold which I believe was a Japanese and French collaboration.

Actually what are the teachable/learnable abilities in the jump. Like can you teach someone to use psionics? Black of Venus (without corruption)? White of Mars? Etc

Magic and chi and martial arts and Black of Venus are all teachable. Not much else in the jump is. Mostly inborn abilities or stuff that can only be given to others with certain rituals or processes.

Jumpers, what jumps have things you want as early in your chain as possible?
Panty & Stocking has a perk for making settings match their art styles.

Martial arts, magic, swordsmanship, marital arts, robotics... You know, (anime) Japanese high school level stuff.

>Wodehousian shenanigans
Why don't we have a Wooster jump?

>Black of Venus
Thanks! But is this with or without corruption. (Kinda important to know)

Its pretty dope, got powers too and Bee will enjoy

I like using Sword & Sorcery a lot early on now since the group companion is fun and it provides a pretty ideal setup for a personally made up magic system. Pokemon is ideal for childhood fantasy wish fulfillment too. I like Fate Jumps too despite not being deep into the series since the Servant system is fun to mess about with. Outside the powers, the reason I want these as early as possible is because I like picking up early companions to build on.

Well, the corruption is just part of the process till you master it and when you are in the process of learning it. So yeah, they have to go through that.

Huh, that actually looks pretty good.

>Huh, that actually looks pretty good.

there's intro to the first episode

and the preview

Also gonna recommend this to Bee

I like doing JoJo pretty early so I can get a Stand, but not so early that I die immediately.

For notes, which should go first, perk/item clarifications or setting details?

Thank you kindly user. Checked out the trailer you posted above. Unsure if I'll check it out since I've been a bit busy, but it does have my interest.

Oops, didn't mean to reply to you, user.

I meant to address this to the thread:

das awite mang

>Unsure if I'll check it out since I've been a bit busy, but it does have my interest.

No rush , take the time to enjoy it

readcomiconline.to/Comic/Last-Man

its based off that comic

Either way. For SGA I had the important setting notes first because there were a lot of perk/item notes and I didn't want readers to miss the setting notes.

Whatever you feel like or think works best. Note sections vary a lot and aren't even included in a lot of Jumps so I don't think there are any real conventions.

>Dragonball GT jump,
>want the unlimited energy of an android but also want ssj4.
Dammit!

Regeneration hands down and something that gets rid of basic needs like air and food

I realize I forgot to list the jumps for that
Heroes for regen, it gives a good level of regeneration for a relatively low danger jump
Generic Creepypasta for Unstarvable so I don't need to eat, drink, breath, rest or sleep

Because I’m horrible at time management so it’s stranded at “20% done but too busy to reread Wodehouse for ideas”.

Personally I put Big Important Stuff first - things like "if you do this, you'll probably be forced to stay in the setting" or exactly what source material is or isn't covered in the jump, then perk/item clarifications, and then setting stuff.

That means I can put any spoiler stuff right the way at the end after a warning or two, so that people don't have anyone to blame but themselves for reading it.

In no particular order:
Get a good body. Anything that says peak human. Picked this up in Pokemon, myself.
Regeneration. Conduit, personally, but there's a lot of places you'll find it.
A versatile magic system. HP magic, D&D magic, or various fantasy book/anime/manga jumps have magic systems that will do the trick.
Remove or minimize basic biological needs (eating, sleeping, oxygen). Any jump where you can be a robot/golem or cyborg kinda person is fine for this.
Anti-PTSD/trauma, sanity, willpower. I picked up Fearlessness in Mass Effect and Touched by darkness in Alan Wake.

Get the android blueprints from other DB jumps and get the SSJ4 there

You know this shit is gonna be a drawback.

Except the general accept rule for jump memories since Pokemon is that they affect you during the Jump but become dormant after that. I don't see how being an Outer God would be different than being any other immortal being with a lifespan measured in billions of years like the Dragons in Kobayashi or almost every demon in SMT.

So, basically Chinese politics?

good
nothing more demeaning than if you get beaten by someone looking like this

Yeah, Guardian's design has always been pretty dumb.

kek

Where's the Blade jump?

Everyone's - Complete but need image work - A-M Jumps

Perks to deal with staying myself and dealing with longevity/immortality.
Also some good protection.

Wakfu is based on a MMO, not the anime. It just cribs some elements from the anime because the game is completely lacking in any kind of plot, you know being an MMO.

Oh, yeah, it's totally okay for you to make a replacement jump of it then, right? Nice try, Timmy, we all know your bullshit by now.

Do we have any other perks like Bond Between Master and Student (DE)?

>The problem of people that are
>good on the outside turning out to be completely evil on the inside is moot as well, because any
>person you personally take on as a disciple will always feel a strong bond towards you, to the point
>where even if you just gave someone a few pointers, they’d be willing to shed tears for you on
>your deathbed.

Jumpers who have magic from Index/Railgun, what magic name did you take?
I went with Tempest13. All who obstruct my path will fall to the storm.

Double Cross - The basic benefits of Renegade alone are useful, to say nothing of the other abilities one can pick up.

Who Jack the Ripper here?

So, I'm sort of battling within myself currently. I'm debating on whether or not I should have a capstone booster in Seven Soldiers. What do you guys think?

Just stating facts, you salty idiot. If you don't like it go back in time and tell WakfuAnon to base it off the anime and not the game.

Which Syndrome did you pick, if I may ask?

Trust your judgement. If you think it fits then have it, if not then don't. Try making one and see how far you get and whether it makes sense to you to include it.

I think it fits. The way I was thinking of it was the capstone booster would allow you to reach the heights of the people in the story. Like give you magical ability equal to Zatanna or be a New God equal to Mr. Miracle.

Who made the Kung Fu Panda jump?

Pure Morpheus. The concept of not having something is entirely foreign to my chain.

Wait, this is a DC series? What's really justifying this series as it's own jump?

Then go for it. Good luck user.

He said like, user. I think you're reading too much into an example.

It's a one off series that may and or may not be in continuity that introduced a lot of cool stuff that wasn't really ever brought up again. So, I decided to make a jump for it cause it's not like its getting interacted with some other way.

user, Seven Soldiers is a DC comic series about characters like Zatanna and Mr Miracle

Oh no it is a DC series. It has Zatanna and Mr. Miracle those were pretty literal examples.

But it's not set in a super different place or time to any of the other jumps and a few of the characters in it are covered by existing DC jumps. I think you should have a justification beyond your personal desire unless we just get drowned in a hundred jumps for short mini series that DC and Marvel both have.

I bet you're just doing this to offer stuff from DC Occult but cheaper.

It's pretty different. The existence of things like the Sheeda fucking with everything makes it different.

Make up your mind. He's either Timmy and will never make a jump, or he's looking for an excuse to make a jump. Which one is it? Or are you just the very shitposter you're accusing other people of being. Yeah, you are aren't you.

I feel like there should be, but none comes to mind. Sorry user.

Fair enough. My mistake.

Well considering one of the major reasons that I wanted to do it was reading Seven Soldiers: Zatanna and Seven Soldiers: Klarion the Witch-Boy. I can't deny it wasn't for a desire for more DC magic, but, it's not really gonna be to similar to DC Occult.

A single antagonist group makes things different? That doesn't seem right to me. What do they do that makes this so different from every other DC jump we have or are getting?

If its cheaper and proportionately weaker then it should be fine even if he is.
Why so negative about this?

So you've admitted to doing it because you couldn't get something you wanted in an existing jump and you've failed to give any reason it deserves it's own jump beyond what you want.

Why should you be allowed to go ahead with this?

Why so positive about someone making a semi-replacement jump so they can get powers they want from other existing jumps but cheaper?

Different user but the Sheeda are pretty fucking weird. Scavengers from the far future with super specialised castes and a real drow/dark elder feel to them.

Nice presumption that you can stop him, or that you implicitly can speak for the rest of us. Fuck off.

They fucked with a lot of the origins of things. Like the fall of Camelot was now because of the Sheeda. Their is now a Reaper style harvest of human civilizations introduced.

So a single new antagonist is all you need. I guess almost every single major event that DC and marvel have ever had can get their own jumps, right? That's the same reasoning you're using.

I was referring to your attitude, obviously. Tricky dicky. If you don't want to answer, that's fine. I just thought you had a better reason to be concerned about the jump. Guess I was wrong.

It's not my reasoning, user. I'm just giving you a bit of information, please don't confuse me with other anons.
I personally have never even read the comics in question and am wondering the same thing you are, just being less of an antagonistic dick about it.

Ok, what a wonderful twist of words. I wanted more jumps about DC Magic. Sue me, its a fun area of DC and there is a part of it that isn't covered in DC Occult, but, it just so happens to be covered in a series that is sufficiently different than regular DC things.

It also just so happens, conveniently for you, that the series covers a bunch of stuff that DC Occult does cover. Letting you slide on in and get it for yourself at a cheaper rate.

What parts aren't covered by DC Occult? What makes this so different? You've said that there's a new enemy, something present in most issues of the comics anyway. What big changes to the world are present, what characters or time periods are present here that aren't covered elsewhere?

This is so obviously not about the jump so much as you being an antagonistic asshole.
Even if your concerns had some validity the way you're going about it is obviously trying to start a pointless argument that no one but you cares about. So, please shut up or change your attitude.

The Croatoan/Limbo Town. The Sheeda. The far future Neanderthals who gave their Seven Treasures to the New Gods. Frankenstein. Camelot. I could go on.

You are such a faggot. You haven't even read the comics have you? Hilarious!

Oh and the best piece of comic cheesecake in years: the Bulletteer.

What Digimon are you? (All of the forms you have)

A couple characters and a couple new locations. Not seeing the setting wide changes here. It's not focusing on a part of DC that wasn't explored like DC Occult, it's not focusing on a different continuity entirely like the animated series, it's not focusing on a time period far away from the other jumps like DC One Million. What does Seven Soldiers bring to the table besides giving you another shot at stuff you want? Nothing but a couple places and a single antagonist group.

...I did not even know that a Wakfu MMO was a thing that existed.

Megacorp user

All I'm gonna say is that if JLDark exists there is room for Seven Soldiers.

That makes it even worse! That this is the second mini series covering many of these concepts and that you've already admitted one reason you are doing this is so you can get more magic perks.
