Ahriman did nothing wrong.

Post best 40K art

Agreed

So, how will GW bring back Konrad?

Nevermind what I said...

Goddamn third thread I've had to repost to within 5 minutes

What about Felinids being a 7-8 inch move light assault chaff unit for IG? Give them Chainswords and their own claws, high number of cc attacks with their low strength but low cost, maybe give them no pistols, but specialists can take a gimmicky gun and the sarge an augmetic power sword arm that hits at S4 or 5.

Why? Just use regular guardsmen

You're boring and your ideas suck.

>that one autist who kitbashes fucking guardsmen with yvraine's lynx ears
Cringe

What should I change to improve this list? I want to buy 3-4 basic boxes so I thought about 2x marines for 3 troops, a box of wizards for HQs and a Predator. Will this do the trick in 1000pts games or should I not buy the Predator and drop a single sorcerer for a unit of cult termies?

Battalion +3CP [59 PL, 999pts]

-HQ-
2x Exalted Sorcerer [7 PL, 121pts]: Force stave, Inferno Bolt Pistol
Exalted Sorcerer on Disc of Tzeentch [8 PL, 141pts]: Force stave, Inferno Bolt Pistol

-Troops-
Rubric Marines [14 PL, 220pts]
- Aspiring Sorcerer: Force stave, Inferno Bolt Pistol
- 8x Rubric Marine w/ Inferno Boltgun: 8x Inferno boltgun
- Rubric Marine w/ Soulreaper cannon: Soulreaper cannon

2x Rubric Marines [7 PL, 107pts]
- Aspiring Sorcerer: Force stave, Inferno Bolt Pistol
- 4x Rubric Marine w/ Inferno Boltgun: 4x Inferno boltgun

-Heavy Support-
Chaos Predator [9 PL, 182pts]: Combi-flamer, Havoc launcher, Twin lascannon
Two heavy bolters: 2x Heavy bolter

>Why?

1: We don't have enough abhumans yet.

2: Catgirls.

Make your pick.

...

>3 exalted sorcs
Just get Ahriman, user.

Honest question, what's the goal? Is this for a mostly casual/fun meta or for a tournament meta?

Looks like they're both out of sword range

>tfw GW makes female space marines
>they're exclusive to a satellite warband of the Emperor's Children because the whimsy of a thirsty god(ess(male)) trumps space biology

Played first game this year today, dark eldar vs dark angels. Was a very close game but I won in the end. I only won because my two archons and 2 sslyth speed bumped his squads of black knights and dark shroud that tackled round the side, sammael failed his charge so got Dark Lanced and my Mandrakes tied up his hellblasters for 2 turns. The one turn he was left uninhibited (first turn) he killed 2 ravagers a razorwing jetfighter and my Tantalus and put himself in a very strong position with stratagems.
It didn't help he rolled mostly 5s and 6s first turn and I failed every invul save. This was my stupid deployment (forgive the unpainted razorwing).

This was his deployment and first turn movement, the big blob of Ravenwing circled round and hit my flank, I deepstruck to destroy his green wing hellblasters

But user, I'm on tight budget and it's the cheapest option to fulfill the HQ requirement with a single box
Definitely casual games but still want to at least pretend that I'm not a speed bump

>Furries

We've got ratings ogryns squats and beastmen I don't think we need any more snowflakes. Anyway felinids are just humans with dark skin pointy teeth and awesome fashion sense

Casual games you'll be fine.

...

Post a photo of your mandrakes

>for the ordo hereticus, it was tuesday

How about no

Just primed black at the moment unfortunately, can't decide what colour scheme to go. Thinking pink or yellow

Nothing to be changed? I'm not familiar with Tsons at all - I just like their lore and aesthetic and noticed that they might be actually quite budget friendly. Maybe there is a better way to build the predator?

After assembling literally any models outside of marines.
Now I understand why marines players are so dumb.
Their models are so easy to build and so easy to clean of mold lines.

Any changes I'd suggest would stem from more competitive choices (i.e. adding Tzaangors) but at 1k poins I think you'll be fine with the set up you have.

Catgirls=/=furries.

Was having a discussion in what I didn't realize was the bad general - The Plague Blossom list from LVO is hilarious, I played a proxy game with it today.

Well, if it's about not buying a box of marines for buying a box of tzaangors instead then I'm okay with this

post

What's a plague blossom

What's the point of the strongpoint? Player placed terrain seems useless this edition.

>Destruction Derby (PSX, 1995)

agreed but catgirls arent furry

No reason not to put some dark reapers inside a plasma obliterator, extra shooting with enough holes for them to shoot out of protected.

So what is the best loadout for hellforged contemptor?
C-Beam and ectoplasma cannon?

Why do people call abhumans "Muh Catgirls" when they only know their name and planet.

We also know that they have a large amount of hair and are more agile than the average human.

This list is:

Changeling
Changecaster
2 units of 10 Brims
30 Pinks

Nurgle Winged Prince
Typhus
2 units of 10 Cultists
19 Pox Walkers

Vortex Aquilla Strongpoint
563 reinforcement points

The way is function is in effect everytime you kill anything you are adding to the pox walkers but what's hilarious is every time you kill a pink you get a pox and 2 blues, every time you kill a blue you get a brim and a pox. How quickly it balloons is amazing.

2 things - first you can deploy the poxwalkers inside it if you don't get first turn (the only turn poxalkers are vulnerable) and 2nd it kills reapers. 3rd optional bonus, it makes a list that's hard to get points out of even harder to get points out of.

I've got trajan 3 bikes 2 flags 2 captains some wardens and some regular custodes.

I'm thinking 3 bike hqs 1-2 flags and run the captains and wardens as custar guard for a battalion

Is 3 bike captains overkill?

Because their name is 'catgirl' and their planet is 'the catgirl planet.'

Abhumans catering to fetishes is the last thing we need in 40k. Go play Infinity.

From where?

>I really wanna draw a picture showing the lamest armies in the game fighting but I dont want to draw a bunch of shit inbetween

>not having fun with the exalted sorcerer kit and stuff instead of mainly using Ahriman

yes, definitly

Didn't they change it so you had to pay points for blue/brim?

Blame GW for making Ahiriman a significantly better choice.

6th edition rules if I remember correctly.

Yeah that's why there are 563 reinforcement points in the list.

So if I understand correctly, you're paying points as brimstones instead of just buying pox walkers because it's more efficient that way, as long as you can afford to pay the tax?

You boys ready for Necromunda?

...

Nope.
All info about Felinids you can find in 6th ed rulebook you can alo find in 7th ed and 8th ed rulebook.

I'm paying reinforcement points to buy blues and brims because they're cheaper than pox walkers (by 1 and 3 points respectively) and because they allow me to expand the poxwalker unit past its unit size cap.

Since when does pink horrors dieing spawn pox walkers ??+

>mfw want to run a named character but sorcerers are a cheaper way money-wise to fulfill the battalion HQ

...

The Dead Walk again stratagem.

I want to run 1 bike HQ but the min squad size is 3 so it kinda sucks to buy a whole box for it

>pays almost twice as much for a disc

Nope.

So you have to use a stratagem to spawn your pox walkers back?

Why not both?

Is grimderpness selling THIS well to still release the edgy-teen content like this one?

Not back, spawn new ones.

Knight codex wishlist v2:

>the classic Knight becomes one datasheet with all the options that you assemble, the combination denoting your pattern
>same with the new small Knights
>you can pick between the Imperial and Chaos keyword to denote your allegiance
>new weapon options for the arms, chest and carapace
>grinding advance for knights
>new wargear piece called custom upgrades, some meant for Imperials and some for Chaos
>Knightly ranks that change your Knights' FoC slot and give them a special ability in exchange for a small additional point cost, for example Troops gain an ability to count as multiple models near objectives (5 for a small knight and 10 for a big knight), the HQ gives a 6" reroll aura, Elite can double attacks on charge, etc
>small Knight is around 150 points, Dread statline, 4+ WS/BS, 5++

Nobody likes Helbrutes with their Thousand Sons user. That is an entire page of GW excuses for why they are too lazy to give us a proper dustydreadnought

>well to still release the edgy-teen content like this one
I don't know you tell me.

Its a 25 pt difference from Ahiriman on a disc to an exalted on disc. For 25 points you get 3 casts, 3 denies at +1 to every attempt and a 4++ invuln compared to 2/1 with a 5++ That's significantly better for that point increase.

>unless it has vehicle or monster, it can ignore the unit for movement
That way a fucking snot won’t stop a knight on its track.

I like the helbrute model and would happily run one but every time I read about them it's just a pure cringe stuff

Because if it's more cat than girl it's a beastman and beastmen are kill on sight

Screening is a problem for more than just Knights.

Knight players might aswell jus get 5 action men and play with them. Shitty army with shitty models forgeworld included. Honestly babbies first army, hurr durr I don't wanna have to worry about line of sight or cover or falling back being an issue and I want lots of guns but not lots of special rules to remember hurrr

>beastmen are kill on sight
Beastmen are tolerated barley.

>this much text to handwave TS using helbrutes instead of just making a rubric dreadnought
sasuga gw

No he's spawning new poxwalkers. He has the 19 and then every time a unit dies within 7" he's adding more to the unit. In theory he could add 150 poxwalkers to the existing unit if the pink horror unit and all splits were killed entirely.

So Chaosfags with double Primarch?

Basically yeah, and both are awful choices.

...

Which Knight pattern hurt you so much baby ? Were you tabled ?

They could have even just put the dust inside a helbrute instead

I love stories with a happy ending

>letting GW shove their choice down your throat
Even though it's better, nah.
I mean I like both but I like the sorcerer with nice options you can choose between in terms of looks and stuff much, much better.

All jokes aside. It would be cool if they get a codex that adds back in the knightly ranks(or w/e they where called)

Drop an Exalted, put Lascannon sponsons on the Predator, add a Rhino or some chaff infantry.

Different metas, different goals. Most of my building and list design is about me going to bigger tournaments. Also Ahriman is a nice model.

>that shit filled diaper

Yeah exact same

None, my friends stopped using theirs in 7th because of how boring the game became. Haven't even seen a knight in 8th but with further simplified rules they're even more like playing with action men

Depends on where they are. An inquisitor would probably kill one on sight.

Yeah, you're right.
Oh yeah, speaking of which- my codex is coming in soon so I haven't seen the stuff yet but how do the warlord traits and all that look? Will Exalted Sorcs be decent choices now?

In 8th knights just seem to fall over.

They die first turn because they are big bullet magnets or die in melee combat after a charge.

But user, if I want to add something that is unlisted I need to not buy something from this list. As I said, for now my plan is to get 2 boxes of rubric marines, a box of sorcerers and a predator

>people don't want to stick this guy on a disc of tzeentch and use him in their army

Bah, they will never be a real army like that.

Then again, if they get Grinding Advance equivalent I'm instantly getting two.
