Fat Neferata ass right on my face

>fancy shadespire runedad looks worse than the regular model

...

u 'avin' a giggle, m8?

I'm serious. I like the pose but everything else is worse.

>Naked Fire Midgets Edition
Porn when ?

With Dispossessed likely getting an update in the future, how would you update them for Age of Sigmar?
Personally I would emphasize their builder fluff.

Big Morathi tits right in my face

Should... should we tell him?

should rename this the legacy dwarf shitposting general

you're seriously wrong

He's rite tho...

Why people recommend Duncan for painting? He isn't even that good when it comes to painting models

because he is good at explaining technices that most beginners dont know yet

naked midgets belong in the fridge

Good enough for tabletop quality and relatively easy to follow steps.

he provides top ASMR

He's GW's official tutorial painter.
Also, its not about that he paints amazingly well, its more that beginners learning from Duncan learn techniques that allow you to paint your models to a good standard with consistancy.

I'll grant you that, but the pose is god awful enough on the magmadroth Runefather that I wouldn't even consider it seriously. The Phoenix Anointed had the same issues

Because he shows the basics, using the materials most people just getting into the hobby will be familiar with (that is, GW) and that's a decent place to start. Doesn't hurt that his videos are comfy and serene

Okay, I think this is what I've got for a good starter list. I think I like the look of Horrors more than Flayers, but I'll probably magnetize them so I won't have to worry about it. And I know I said 1000pts but 1500 is pretty common too? 1000 feels really limiting.

Allegiance: Flesh Eater Courts
Crypt Haunter Courtier (120)
- General
- Trait: Dark Wizardry
- Artefact: The Grim Garland
Crypt Ghast Courtier (80)
- Artefact: The Flayed Pennant
Necromancer (110)
- Allies
6 x Crypt Horrors (320)
3 x Crypt Horrors (160)
30 x Crypt Ghouls (300)
Terrorgheist (300)
Abattoir (110)

Total: 1500 / 1500
Allies: 110 / 400
Wounds: 97

For 1000, I can remove the Terrorgheist, Necromancer, and 10 ghouls.

>comfy and serene
What? I find him very annoying rather than anything else

...damn that midget is thicc

...

fuckung hell. ive been banned from Veeky Forums for posting shit alot less intense than this

It's actually kind of funny how clearly this shows how impractical fyreslayers are. The original runefather can't move his head because of the horns on his helmet getting blocked by his shoulder things. The new one had to have the shoulder things removed so he could have a new pose. The runeson's supposed super axe is tiny because a big axe wouldn't fit on his model.

It's funny to me.

They may have gotten rid of the ridiculous double-sided knuckle bow of not being able to hold the fucking thing, but that's still a bloody keyblade he's got there.

everything seems to annoy you, Nicolai

Here are some easy fixes GW could introduce to make the game worth playing.

-Either remove the current priority system or replace it with the LOTR one.
-Change the way wounding works so that each battlescroll has a score the enemy needs to roll to wound it. Give strong weapons a bonus to wounding. eg. a clanrat has a to wound value of 3+, any enemy needs to roll that to wound it. A halberd has a +1 to wound bonus, a model armed with a halberd needs to roll 2+ to wound a clanrat. Adjust wounds for monsters to take higher to wound value into account.
-make shooting into and out of combat impossible.
-stop excess wounds from weapons that cause multiple wounds from spilling over to other models in a unit.

That's some scary shit right there user
(way better than your starting list at least)

...the game's rules are the least of its problems.
They're honestly fine.
Also
>-stop excess wounds from weapons that cause multiple wounds from spilling over to other models in a unit.
isn't this already the case?

>isn't this already the case?
Only in 40k.

Thanks, I think so too. Is 1500 common or should I go for 1000? I guess it doesn't matter. I'll have to buy a Start Collecting and two Nightfeast boxes I guess.

Malign Portents Summary:

New Spell: Value 6, enemy within 18" loses 2 bravery.

New Command Ability: Pick friendly unit within 12", roll a d6. If it is lower than the models they have lost, then you give them +1 attack.

New Command Ability: Pick a friendly unit within 3" of your dude. You can transfer wounds between the two. Your guy gains wounds, while the unit loses them.

Battles in the Realm of Death have a buff/debuff on them which applies to both players. D6 is rolled at the start of the game.

1. No effect.
2. At the start of your hero phase, roll a dice. On a 6, an enemy unit of your choice suffers d3 mortal wounds.
3. Start of your hero phase, roll a dice. On a 6, pick an enemy unit and roll dice equal to the number of models it has, on a 5+ it suffers 1 MW.
4. -1 Bravery for units within 1" of any scenery.
5. +1 Bravery for all units
6. +1 to casting rolls

Power of Death:

At the start of every turn, if units have been slain before (Does not happen in the first turn therefore). Roll a D6 and add 1 for every slain unit (Friend or Foe). Consult chart, goes from 2-10. Does various things like doing damage to the enemy, healing your guys etc.

Prophecy Points:

Gain 3 for being on the realm of Death. 3 for having a Harbinger. 3 for having a hero in a Warscryer Citadel. 1 for each priest/wizard. These regenerate each turn, act like command points for 40k otherwise. Don't carry over, so it doesn't spill over.

You have 6 'portents' to pick from which have 6 abilities to use which cost phophecy points. 1 of the 6 portents has an ability to give a unit +1 to hit in shooting for 5 prophecy points, 1 allows you to reroll a unbinding roll for 1 prophecy point etc.

I am about to finish my 1000 point Dispossessed army and I would like to start an "actual" AoS army next.
How good are FEC?

They don't have any strength and they are just shit desu, no synergy, terrible units, a lot of points

Tell him what? It's obvious they're doing something with them, they wouldn't bother to rebox them otherwise.

Ironjawz are the better FEC imo. Tankier and with cooler models. Also easy to play, unlike Dispossessed.

Just like they reboxed wood elves. Get real user. It's a dead army. GW don't want anything to do with generic fantasy factions anymore.

They arr rook the same

But I don't like Orcs.

Literally the only thing I'd change is make the system activation based, so each side completes move, then enemy move, then they shoot, then enemy shoots and so on.

>Being this delusional.
user, Dispossessed have been featured in the latest fluff. How can you saw this shit without being an absolute autist?

Well you're wrong.

>don't paint green
>give them ghouls heads

I imagine Dispossessed will get something eventually, along with the aforementioned Wanderers. But pot calling kettle black on the delusional comment if you think they're coming any time soon.

Being given a few lines doesn't mean you'll ever get new models.

Soon

then are nighthaunt any goods ?
I'm hesitant about which flavour i should go for my new death army

>Dispossessed likely getting an update in the future
But they aren't, lmao. They've been given two new factions and will otherwise rot while the rest of the game progresses forward. Dispossessed are literally a dead end that was created only to let people that already have models still play the game. The rules you got in GHB2017 are basically the final nail on the Dawi coffin. You will never have a Battletome, and you will never be relevant. The best you can hope for is a third Duardin faction being built out of your bones with a completely new aesthetic and gimmick based out of a single sentence or aspect of the old army. Root Kings are probably the most likely.

They're one of the better Death allegiances, though the Black Coach is and always will be awful. Ethereal is getting nerfed which might hurt them, but Spirit Hosts getting the 1d3 heal will potentially be pretty nice.

Wait for the new book and see if FEC get any goodies.

To be honest, might as well pick Legions of Nagash up and see if the trend of new = meta keeps going.

FEC rely on 5 wound heroes in a meta that shits all over them. They can be fun, but proceed with caution.

If you're not trying to get top 20 at LVO or something, may I suggest a Grim Garland meme build with a ton of flayers and some mortis engines? Depending on how the Bloodseeker Paliquin does in the new book, it might be a good time.

>stop excess wounds from weapons that cause multiple wounds from spilling over to other models in a unit

Fuck off that's one of the best things in this game and monsters don't need to be shittier.

I am really curious how they'll do the warscroll for these guys. Having a Runefather as part of a unit seems interesting at least.

I'm sure they will, eventually. Just like DoK got new models, which take the basic witches in a brand new direction. I imagine they will be based much more on heavy armor than the other two dwarf armies.

Keep dreaming but you're only setting yourself up for disappointment, user. Get Fyreslayers or Kharadron Overlords instead.

>being this delusional
Now I see why people hate Dispossessed posters.

The real kicker is being called a delusional autist by them

>not realizing that DoK are just for Dark Elves what Fyreslayers were for Dwarfs
whew lad

Just increase their attacks then.

Hey /aos/ what sould I do with my Dispossessed army I've spent most of my money and time on over the past two years?

Skeletons are Nagash’s true champions, and here’s why.
Zombies and their ilk are too dumb to do anything.
Flesh Eater Courts are too delusional and some even form their own cults.
Vampires are nasty little schemers.
Ghosts are squatters what don’t understand the meaning of property.
But Skeletons, skeletons understand that Nagash is greatest. His Mortarchs ride upon skeleton beasts. Vampires ride upon skeleton dragons. His greatest Mortarch is a skeleton. Nagash himself is a skeleton! Skeletons go on crusades in the name of Nagash!

>a cannon shooting into a horde of clanrats now only kills one clanrat

Do you enjoy playing it as is?

Never played a game.
I can't find anyone to play with.

So you propose to make the game more convoluted, more awkward and shittier?

Nighthaunt are really strong (if a little boring) and they have the new hero that beefs up their to-hit rolls. I'd wait for the death book to come out, first, before you decide on anything.

Oh look, it's Baby's First AoS Complaints.
Feel free to actually play a few games before bitching instead of just skimming the rules.

Just remember that while the new Soup book that'll actually allow Nighthaunt to get magic support is also the Soup book that removes the ability to buff ethereal in any way.

Sell them? Grind them into dust and huff them? Shove them up your ass? Why the fuck are you asking us?

Burn them and film it for us. And at the end of the video, chug a gallon and soy and show up the brand new Stormcast boxes you bought.

Do you play 40k? Cause my dude monsters are fucking trash in that game. Spill over is fine, hordes are fine enough as is with the bonuses they get.

BLACKED

What's the most common points limit most people play at?

1000, 1500, 2000.

I have been thinking of getting a Spoilpox Scrivener for my army since I like the model and it’s fluff. But how good are they in game? Anything I must think about when for example deploying him, moving him, etc

Does anyone have the images of the black guy cosplaying as Stormcast?

Did not mean to reply to But to answer your question I play around 1000-1250 (so far)

>A Soycast Transternal
>Being the Bull, and not the cuck.

i would just stick him in your biggest blob of plaguebearers and hope your opponent doesnt notice him

heres my proxy new herald, the bagpipes guy

What do you guys think of Malign Portents? Would you play?

Summary:

If you can keep him safe near the frontline Plagebearers he's pretty okay. Nothing exceptional, but solid enough.

Personally I prefer the Badsneeze Plaguerer

But they are all female

is this yours or just found on the net?

Except fyreslayers were all-new, while DoK have battleline straight from WFB, along with the cauldron and the warlocks. Sylvaneth are far more appropriate comparison, and it's entirely possible they will do for the disposssed what they did for sylvaneth and DoK.

I have stormcast and seraphon already, I don't plan on adding any stinking gay midgets to the list, regardless of flavor.

i'm not the FEC user, i have little interest on ghoul kings, outside of conversion fun maybe.
thanks for the answers, i'll wait the spook book

The models are competently painted, of course he found it on the net.

middle isn't female. the other 2 have boobplate

mine. I was at LVO

>Practically endless underworlds and societies
>Doesn't attempt to move away from the generic transilvanian undead

Why does GW pretend to support all these armies if space marines and not!space marines is all they want to actually do?

The only thing I like about fyreslayers is the nekid-factor. It's just the concept that invokes hate without any reason in so many players. I like that.
Like the female stormcast. I don't like stormcast because they got buffed by GW so much. But the pure existence of the female stormcast and all the kiddie rage that comes with it... It's just beautiful.

>mine.

It's pretty cool.

>middle isn't female.
it visibly has a monoboobplate and a round face too.

if they are really yours take a closer photo :^)

>Those horses

Most unironically funny shit I've ever seen.

He's an affable guy showing the basics, mostly.

Like, there's only so much he's going to to do while also shilling the GW paint line.

This.
All the civlian and NPC factions would be perfect for fleshing out in the Mortal Realms.
>What's up with the mortals hanging out with Nagash?
>What do Lion Rangers do for fun?
>How do Free peoples govern their cities?
>How do Dispossessed build stuff?
>What are the Brayheards up to?
>What kind of trouble have Grots found themselves in this week?
I want to have a world that feels alive, not just a playground for Golden Faggots to stomp around in and beat up Khrone Faggots.

Hey /aosg/,
I'm pretty new to the game and am having some difficulty getting into the lore.
I started reading the books but I often feel they give more questions than they give answers.
How much time has passed since the gates of Azyr opening and Malign Portents starting?
Did the Realmgate Wars end? What was the conclusion?

So far I absolutely love this hobby but the lore has me feeling I'm missing something.

Wounds spill over in both game systems, user.
