Sylvanas > Neferata

If it's a female elf, it will be fap fodder.
Also Liadrin is boring.

So, let's narrow down the number of races that currently exist that could be made into allied races.

What's required:
>Possesses both male and female models.
>Has a model that can feasibly wear all possible visible slots.
>Has a model that can feasibly ride any sort of mount.

What existing races fall into that category?

I want to fuck Maiev.

Neferata is a better waifu personality wise

she a qt out of her armor

Considering how Blizzard writes the lore like a superhero comic, I could see a Brainiac-inspired Naaru as the Preserver of Life, doing exactly what you described. Preserving life throughout the cosmos, safe from the perfidy of the Void and Fel. Guarded by an army of Light-powered constructs, perhaps even powered by the frozen and unchanging faith of the inhabitants of those worlds who prayed for salvation and received it in unexpected form. Blessed and protected by the Light to live without suffering or death, in perfect peace and harmony. Frozen in crystals of Light.

Lol no, she makes Sylvanas look like a plush unicorn.

Light beings don't really think the Void is the problem like Sargeras does though..If anything a Light being would try to purify void stuff...

HELLO

DELET

She is also actually subtle instead of being a cartoon character waifu.
Also Isabella > Sylvanas.

There's evidence of the Naaru 'cleansing' Void-corrupted planets by glassing them. As in, literally turning them and everything that once lived on them into Light-infused crystal.

It depends on the Light being. Saa'ra and A'dal are pretty chill with the Void, but Xe'ra most certainly is not. She even hid that Naaru can go Void, while Velen knew about it.

Some Naaru are probably dicks. Xal'atath hints that what we know about current Naaru may not be true of their behavior in the past.

Neferata is as subtle as fucking Skeletor

That's never really been shown it was just a vague answer and not really official yet though.

This
Isabella had only 1 husband

Sylvanas banged Arthas and betrayed him, and would do the same to lorthamar

Xe'ra seemed like everything she did was to prepare for Illidan to come and make him lightforged so he could lead the army of Light. Seems more like she did everything so it could all be perfect for Illidan and he could lead the Naaru to a glorius age or something...Yea she was just blinded into thinking Illidan was gonna be some great thing but he rejected her gift.

>spreads her agents throughout the world to SUCC.
>hides behind humans without blighting the land like Sylvanas
>Has actual intrigue in her faction unlike the 4skin.
And she isn't even the best nehekaran girl

>may not be true of their behavior in the past.
Most important line I recall here is that she implies we should ask the Naaru about who came before the Draenei. I think that by the time the Legion was in full swing, the forces of both Light and Void were fairly diminished in the cosmos. Now that the legion is gone, they can recuperate. We may yet see the true Army of the Light.

that's not Thisalee Crow

Missing my point. Xe'ra was absolutely terrified of the Void, telling anyone anything about the Void, and so on. Whereas Saa'ra chills out in a mixed temple, and A'dal is one of the first ingame sources to explain that the Void is a necessary part of reality even if it must be kept in check.

Neferata fucking hates men ever since Vlad dumped her for Nagash's phat l00t

She still sucks their bodily fluid like a hose pipe.

How would you feel about an expansion in which the primary antagonist is the Light and its servants? The Naaru, the Army of the Light, the Knights of the Silver Hand and so on and so forth, as they suddenly attempt to purge all life for the good of the universe or some shit.

not against the light being an antagonist but it would need to be handled in a really nuanced way, a way i'm not convinced blizz could manage honestly.

so rehash the Burning Legion story?

Burning Legion, except not sadistic assholes who just want to see the world burn and more principled and zealous than that.

Why would they purge all life? No, they just have to enlighten them. Maybe kill the ones who refuse their blessings, who resist their protection and salvation, but they don't need to kill them all.

Wildhammers
Drakkari
Amani
Frostborn
Vrykul (flesh, kvaldir, frost)
Mag'har (from Outland, the only relevant ones)

Taunka and Yaungol wouldn't be that hard to get female models, same with Ogres once they will decide on any consensus regarding Ogre women (bigger thicker orc women with Ogre skin tone?)

I'd probably tell whoever wrote it to loosen their fedora a bit.

Tauren have already gotten their alternate race.
So have Dwarves and Trolls, leaving Mag'har and Vrykul as the only likely ones.

>a way i'm not convinced blizz could manage honestly

Blizzard is really bad with moral ambiguity. Their morally ambiguous characters either end up villanized or sanitized.

Considering she isn't staring at (You), what/who is she thinking of?

Arator

that glass of wine

Justice

>Take a Naaru.
>Give him non-Eredar race of servants (because they crashes ships all the time).
>Have him decide to crystallize anything he considers corrupted by the Void.
>Avoid becoming Dark Naaru by using some of the Light-crystallized sentient races as a source of energy to replenish himself whenever he moves his Tempest Keep-equivalent (Tempest Keep is Arcane-powered by draining mana in the middle of Great Dark Beyond/Twisting Nether; Kael'thas was doing some serious area hazard by using Mana-Forges to drain power around Netherstorm).
>Crystallized beings are preserved in Light and gather Light passively due to mix of Lightforging and encasing them in Crystals, akin to suggestions from
>Add in such expansions faction of Ethereals that also sought revenge on Dimensius, but instead of using power of the enemy against him, they went for opposite, Light, to either destroy Dimensius or to make ironic punishment of turning him into opposite of what he were
>Include whatever Naaru used as their army before the Draenei, as suggested by Knaifu:
>Xal'atath whispers: Do the naaru speak of the eternal conflict? That the entire history of your world is but a fraction of the time that has passed? Of those that came before the draenei? No? (in Netherlight Temple)

This is headcanon but I like it

Silgryn.

>Not wanting Trolls and Tauren become more dominant races in the Horde
That being said, you do have some kind of a point.
>inb4Sylvanas uses argument of her deal with Helya to get Kvaldir on her side, while humans gets normal Vrykul

Give them robots. Maybe some angelic Ancient Kings sorts too, perhaps fueled by the souls of the rulers of the civilizations they're preserving.

I'd much rather take undead elves instead of Kvaldir, they already are a part of the Horde and should be playable. Make a questline where Sylvanas rescues the Darkfallen from the Scourge.

I admit that I have not thought about them for some reason.
>Being on Scourge's side was merely a setback!

Well, we already have Vigilants in Arcane and Fel variants. What stops from seeing Light version of such? That being said, they shouldn't be main force, but they would make good bosses.

What's up with that gorilla? I've seen the pic posted multiple times.

Is it a part of porn comic, and where can I find it?

Horde
>Races: orc, troll, tauren
>Heroic/Hybrid class: Shaman. Add tank spec
>Feel: "noble savages", finding new home and new place in the world

Trade Cartel: may be left for expansion
>Races: goblin, ogre, gnoll
>Heroic/Hybrid class: Tinker. Alchemical healing spec, robot suit as literal tank, ranged combat with bombs, guns and missiles.
>Feel: "neutral", greedy businessmen and mercenaries, mix of tech (goblins, some for gnolls) and magic (ogres, gnolls)

Emerald Dream expansion
Night Elves (needs better name, propably)
>Races: night elf, furbolg, child of Cenarius (dryad/Keeper of the grove)
>Heroic/Hybrid class: Druid. You know the drill.
>Feel: guardians of nature, protectors of the world. "Get out of my lawn" xenophobia. Primitive tech, but natural magic

Lich King Expansion
The Forsaken
>Races: forsaken (undead human), elven ghosts (banshees and some male version), either nerubian or vrykul (more likely the later)
>Heroic/Hybrid class: Necromancer. DoT, HoT (won't heal you, but won't let you die either), tank may be DK-like, or having tanking pet abomination. Maybe minion-focused.
>Feel: Revenge. "Bad guys". Dark Magic, secretly fucking with everyone else.

shit, copied only half:

Warrior, mage, rogue, hunter, priest classes available to every faction, but not all races. May get different graphic effects depending on race (especially priest).
Theramore is neutral.
You can get reputation with other factions to achieve neutral status with them and gain limited access to their faction, but doing so may prevent you from engaging in PvP with them.

Vanilla:
Alliance
>Races: human, dwarf, gnome
>Heroic/Hybrid class: Paladin. Pretty much what we already have
>Feel: "good guys", knights & shit + some guns and steampunk tech. Restoration of lost glory

Outland Expansion
Illidari
>Races: blood elf, naga (loyal to Illidan, not Azshara), draenei (broken, not the BC retcon)
>Heroic/Hybrid class: Warlock. Pet focused, propably, stealing souls from enemies to heal their party or something of that sort (healing minions? disco priest-like shields?), tank spec is either Demon Hunter (dodge tank) or beefy pet
>Feel: Playing with fire, end justifies the means, survival, antiheroes

6 factions are more than enough for some more interesting diplomacy and interactions. Others may be added later (Pandaren, with Monk hybrid class) either as factions, or as stand-alone races who can join anyone.

Well, there are some Light-style mechsuits, and the Naaru seem to have lots of advanced sci-fi-esque technology. I mean, the Naaru literally have "Sentience Cores" as if they're some kind of advanced machines themselves.

I think having large numbers of mechanical troops would actually be very fitting for the Naaru.

Played a little classic. Now I know again what I liked about WoW. You were just an adventure.

I want it back...

I'm actually surprised they didn't have more of those Vigilant mech things, especially since they can apparently be piloted by souls like Wraithbone constructs in 40k. These things look fucking cool.

I know. t'd have been fairly appropriate. But I suppose Xe'ra just had one dinky ship. I wonder if she used to have more in the past. But if they're going to start some resurgence in the war between Light and Void now that the Legion has been defeated, I want to see some decent mecha vs eldritch abomination action.

At least the one we got is the best possible.
>They took him on Vindicaar after Legion was defeated
I wonder how Y'mera feels about it.

I am quite sure there were multiple Tempest Keep-like Naaru dimensional bases. It wouldn't make sense to not be so.

>The Forsaken
>Heroic/Hybrid class: Necromancer
Holy shit, way to utterly misunderstand the Forsaken

This is so generic it hurts.

I think you're a little jaded. Generic doesn't mean "something I have seen a couple of times before now."

So the burning legion?

Wouldn't it technically be rape if Arthas mind controlled Sylvanas to have sex with him?

Not really, no. Can you point out anyone in the Burning Legion who genuinely thinks they're a good thing, destroying world after world, and isn't just doing it because they're an evil asshole?

Have you seen what she's wearing?

To add to for the sake of avoiding Legion lite:
>The Naaru Prime in charge is doing it because he's trying to eradicate all trace of the Void from the universe by reforging it in Light.
>When he can't infuse them with Light in fast way, he places them in Light enhanced crystals that does the process in a very slow way, also powering his dimensional fortress and himself, to avoid Darkening
>In extreme cases he uses crystals to analyze the corruption to find a mean to remove it
>Have collection of Lightforged Demons to increase his Holy Firepower whenever he tries to attack planets infested with Old Gods, for the sake of either capturing their minions or trying to find out what intensity of Light for how much time is required to change Old God into a being of the Light

Does Liadrin give better footjobs than Jaina? Asking for a friend

More than one of the Shivarra fully believes in the goal of Sargeras. Most of them are his priestesses for a reason.

Trolls do.

Pretty much everyone in the Burning Legion think they're doing the right thing. Azeroth's just kicked their asses enough times that it's also getting personal.
But really, this guy thinks the Legion is doing the right thing 100%

We've only seen Naruu dying, becoming void gods that draw in dead spirits.

Why don't we see void creatures dying, and becoming Light monsters?

Because Void came to be whenever Light spread too thin and died out.
Also, one of the ways to bring back the Void God in Netherlight Temple back to Naaru form was using Xal'atath to drain void energies from it.
It seems it's much harder to get depleted of Void energy than to do the same with Light-based beings.

You really think imps fight for the Burning Legion because they think it's the best outcome for the universe? What about doom guards, dreadlords, pitlords? Do you really think they're motivated by a desire to improve the universe?

No, they just kill, destroy and corrupt shit because it's fun. They take pleasure in causing chaos and ruining everything they get their claws on, Sargeras just came along and organized their efforts so they had to work together as the Burning Legion. Even Sargeras has become twisted and foul after his exposure to the fel energies of Mardum when it was shattered.

You don't need to mind control women when you're a chad to end all chads. You may genocide their nations, destroy their cities, kill them, women will still jump at you when they see Frostmourne Jr.

Don't mind me, just dropping by to say that this is a VERY pretty elfgirl.

it is if you are wearing horde tinted glasses

>Doomguards
According to the wiki, yes they do actually want what's best for the multiverse
>Before Sargeras freed them, the doomguard were the titan's hounds forever enslaved to police the use of arcane magics. Sacrificial magic was considered the greatest violation of life and the doomguard were attuned to instantly punish those who delved into such sorcery. After freeing the doomguard, Sargeras recruited them into the Burning Legion as enforcers and shock troopers.

>They arrived for the first time to Azeroth during the War of the Ancients, where the doomguard were used to keep the warriors in line. While flying above the ranks of every regiment, they watched for disorder, ready to correct their brethren with a quick flash of a whip.

Their job was basically to keep the edgier parts of the Legion in line and make sure the destruction of sentient life is an orderly and efficient affair

Still find it crazy that some demons were able to rival Sargeras in power, like Ulthalesh

Because that's not how entropy works.
You would need to pump them full of light to Naru them, not just kill them.

Are the tax collecting demons still around?

what was the burning legion's tax policy?

The lore behind the Dreadlords is that all that fighting and corrupting things into more demonic forces IS their idea of a better universe. That one's admittedly a stretch but since Sargeras basically said "If everything is demon then nothing is void" then they must think they're doing the right thing.

Pitlords are basically Orc demons. They were yelling 'victory or death' millennia before the orcs were a thing.

Imps probably aren't smart enough to know or care if they're doing the right thing. They're Legion murlocs

Give us some souls and we wont obliterate the rest of your race?

>According to the wiki, yes they do actually want what's best for the multiverse
>Their job was basically to keep the edgier parts of the Legion in line and make sure the destruction of sentient life is an orderly and efficient affair
Being good at keeping parts of the Legion organized does not mean that they are doing this because they believe what Sargeras believes. And you only quoted facts without including what Doomguards actually thought about the magic they were supposed to punish:
>Doomguard says: Sacrificial magic was considered the greatest violation of life and we were attuned to instantly punish those who delved into such... delicious sorcery.
Also, Fel is powered by destroying life, which means Doomguards were attuned to the Fel from the beginning.

That being said, the ONLY demons that are confirmed to actually believe in the Burning Crusade's purpose are Shivarra, which does so with religious fervor that others lacks.

What even is the point of imps? The Wrymtongue at least collect, steal, and maintain equipment. Imps just get birthed by the hundreds from their mommas to die in droves.

They've already got good cannon fodder in Felguards, and they're taller! Feel like they're snotlings. Teach them to hold your stuff for you or fetch shit because it's cute.

I think that was just a flavor text to explain why the Doomguard you summon kills your ass.

>Ulthalesh was a nathrezim who rose to take control of the prison dimension of Mardum, where the titan Sargeras imprisoned his defeated demon foes in the ages prior to him becoming the Dark Titan. The dreadlord ruled the planet with an iron fist, plotting for the day when he would exact his vengeance against Sargeras. When the titan later returned and shattered Mardum to recruit forces for the Burning Legion, scores of demons refused to join him and instead rallied around Ulthalesh. In answer to the challenge, Sargeras forged a great felsteel scythe from the fires of Mardum's destruction and used it to harvest the souls of the rebellious demons, trapping them in a new prison. Ulthalesh, strongest of will, was the last to be devoured. Sargeras named the weapon Ulthalesh after the dreadlord who had opposed him.
Does not seem like someone who could rival Sargeras in power, though he definitely had some massive balls to oppose him even after Sargeras became evil, to the point of telling Sargeras that instead of Ulthalesh joining Sargeras, Sargeras should join as Ulthalesh's underling.

Quantity is a quality all its own.
Especially since those fuckers are little fel monsters and two imps should be worth at least one human soldier but are a dozen times more replaceable

Imps burns your kneecaps off.

I think that was because they are rather hard to control, not because of their former purpose, one they are no longer bound to obey. After all, you can't just summon an Infernal without having to wrestle control over him. Or at least you couldn't back in the day, I don't know much of Warlock post-TBC.

Not really. Before Cata, multiple quests in locations around Undercity were about trying to recruit a necromancer to join the Forsaken: Hercular in Hillsbrad, some guy who's name I can't remember and who thought he's the only free-willed undead in Tirisfal... after WotLK, Sylvanas got Val'kyr and didn't need them anymore, but it wasn't "Forsaken are against necromancers", it was "Forsaken can't find any non-Scourge afflicted necromancers to join them".

Liadrin does not give footjobs, Liadrin receives them!

Is she dominating Nathanos the same way Arthas did with her? Is it a way to cope with the butthurt that she got out dommed by the human chad instead of doing it in reverse like a true Windrunner?

yes, just post the entire sauce next time.
Also forcing Liadrin to give a footjob to my nigga Mograine to make peace with the ebon blade should be canon.

Actually, thinking about it now, I wouldn't be surprised if the Forsaken agents in Duskwood were there to deliver an employment offer to Morbent Fel or whoever they could find.

High Elves
Wildhammer Dorfs
Vrykrul (both regular and frosty versions)
Earthern and Iron Dwarves/Vrykul/Gnomes (skeletons already exist just need to slap the texture on)
A billion flavours of trolls
Mag'har Orcs
Taunka

No, they wrote a short story about it. Sylvanas is literally /our/ girl, and went completely out of her way to make her husbando hot again

They don't hate anything as much as mindless undead and mind control. Val'kyr allow them to raise sentient Forsaken. Anyone who raises mindless undead is number one on Sylvanas' hit list, the warden of Southshore was executed because he raised a bunch of zombies. This raises the question why she tolerates Forsaken DK's with their ghouls. I guess she really doesn't, seeing how Koltira got a shit treatment even by her standards.

>High Elves
*angry horde hissing intensifies*

>to make peace with the ebon blade
But the Knights of the Ebon Blade are repeatedly and consistently the aggressors. They're the ones that need to make any overtures.

Preferably somewhere other than Light's Hope, since I'm fairly certain that at least a few guards are traumatized enough that they'll just attack death knights on sight at this point.

>liadrin will never dom you and make you give her footrubs
