A good example would be things like the Picards and Adamites, they wouldn't be directly worshipping the succubus, but rather how lust is actually holy and bring them closer to God.

The Sin War series of diablo novels is both pretty good and has some neat inspirations to offer about this. Basically the standard trope of devils/demons disguising themselves as religions and slowly taking over, with the lower ranks and standard worshippers living in blissfull ignorance.

As with most good BBEG, have the Succubi/Incubi appear rarely and randomly at first. Their direct involvement in the actions of the church should stay hidden for a good while.

Specifically, use their abilities to influence people beyond just sex to it's maximum effect - have courtiers who think the church is a threat change their mind or better even, let them do corrupt shit that "miraculously" is witnessed and reported under mind control.

I would also suggest having them ally with night hags for more rural corruption.

Somebody pointed out that if she kept absorbing enough souls over long enough period of time, she could go from a minor deity into a very powerful one.

Flash forward a few threads where the OP always took the dumbest ideas from the previous ones and put them in the first post, and Lilium the interplanetary vore-succubus goddess was born.
Basically, her cult got enough worshipers on her home plane that she got powerful enough to forcibly "embrace" the souls of everybody, after which she decided to spread her cult to other worlds until all of existence would know peace and harmony by becoming one with her. She'd contact people on other worlds to set up her cult, and when they'd get big enough they'd summon her to go all Galactus/Third Impact on the world.

It was kind of dumb. Although I do think a goddess who believes "since I'm perfect the best thing for the universe would be for everybody to be me" would make a decent concept for a villain.
