40k is fun!

Only a little longer...

Attached: 1514831316451.jpg (900x1254, 348K)

Okay, but can you explain why sentinels aren’t armigers?

Why are Armigers just Space Crusader dreadnoughts?
Space Marauder user better shop space marauder onto the face of the space crusader dreadnought.

The Changeling is a pain in the ass to assemble.

Tau are the second most technological race in the setting

>Imperium uses relics they don't understand
>Nids dont tech
>Orks are just warp entities
>So are the eldar
That leaves the necrons as undisputed #1, with Tau following on second place

Sisters Soon™

Sorry that thread was for the last general, that general is dead so the argument is over. Pick something new, that's 40kg etiquette.

Dark Eldar have technology so advanced it looks like magic. They can transfer souls across bodies and create living beings.

Is there a precedent for somehow rigging up spare las cells into IEDs? Besides using them to cook off other explosive material. Could they be a bomb on their own? I know you can do that with a whole lasgun.

Let the shitposting commence!

Attached: Shitposting Loudly.gif (500x281, 848K)

What about Dark Mechanicum?

>Tau are the second most technological race in the setting

*LAUGHS IN GOD-MACHINE*

Attached: 1463538566073.jpg (1920x1080, 499K)

Sorry sir please read - you may continue that argument in the previous general.

>So are the eldar
>What are Dark Eldar
Understanding your tech doesn’t make it better.

>Imperium uses relics they don't understand
Irrelevant when they know how to use them and they work better than what the Tau has.

>Nids dont tech
Biotech is just super-advanced tech. Nids are a solid second behind Necrons with Drukhari a distant third and everyone else way, waaay after that.

>Orks are just warp entities
>So are the eldar
Neither of these are remotely fucking true.

>nids don't tech
holy fuck i thought this ancient meme died out ages ago

We know tau are mary sues, you don't have to keep going on about it.

>GW will never produce Imperator Titan model
It makes me sad

T''''''au plz go and stay go

Attached: squashed blueberry.jpg (1280x720, 211K)

If I recall somewhere in the volumes of Gaunt's Ghosts its done. I think during their Guerrilla campaign on Gereon.

Tau also don't understand their own tech

GW won't ever produce any other Titan though. FW might eventually.

It'd be terrain not a model.

>Irrelevant when they know how to use them and they work better than what the Tau has.

NOPE.

Not him but the lore says that the T'au are technology superior compared to the Imperium. And that was from an Imperial story. Check this.

Attached: Age of Darkness.jpg (760x1000, 153K)

They are just mechanicum with a splash of chaos

I really wish Imperator titans were actually that massive

Tau players are the most ignorant about the setting outside of their corner of the galaxy and the irrelevant gundam struggles that take place there.

Attached: Gorgon.png (607x608, 449K)

>>P R I M E B E E F
Interesting

It’d be a table not terrain.

We posting Tau rekt pictures now?

Attached: Tau vs Space Marine.gif (384x216, 4.85M)

What does a Sentinel attacking with it's chainsaw look like?

Bet you believe tau pilots are the undisputed masters of sky as well

>Orks are just warp entities
jealous of working FTL and teleportation technology?

>So are the eldar
after seeing eldar tech Tau begged them to share

>Imperium uses relics they don't understand
One such relic blocked entire tau expansion, also what about Tau FTL?

you the marines she tells you not to worry about

Most specie's van create living beings through fucking, but I get your point. Dark Eldar are awesome.

If that's what the fluff says.....

Well, I started reading some wiki articles about imperial knights at the morning and now I finished their 7e codex and the IK Companion. Guess I have to start an IK army now. Is a knight and two chibi bois enough for 1000pts games? They seem to be a quite expensive faction to play so I would rather stick with smaller games than go full baka with 1500 or 2000pts

Attached: VIG-ImperialKnights.png (434x550, 478K)

the exact thing i was referring to, and was amazingly retarded

>playing knights in 1kpt games
faggot

>Tau are the second most technological race in the setting

>BS 4+

Attached: laugh.jpg (1300x956, 108K)

You are a gigantic faggot. Neck yourself you turboweeb.

New boxed game soon.

Attached: Ultimate Snuggle.jpg (1575x1055, 1.65M)

Why? I heard they are mediocre at best even in small games

Just buy normal titan instead of toys

Godspeed spacemarauderanon.

Ignorant Weebs like you give us Tau players a bad name

Attached: 1517604317210.jpg (530x507, 132K)

Unless list tailored, no sub-1k list will be effective in fighting IK.

why do people actually like imperial knights?

Attached: tg.jpg (507x128, 7K)

How do we fix Hot-shot laspistols?

pls help I am a 40k scrub and just want to know how badly I will get shredded if I show up to a LGS with this list:

++ Vanguard Detachment +1CP (Imperium - Space Marines) [78 PL, 1490pts] ++

+ Dedicated Transport +
Razorback [5 PL, 120pts]: Twin lascannon

+ Heavy Support +
Land Raider [19 PL, 358pts]: Storm bolter, Twin heavy bolter, 2x Twin lascannon

+ HQ +
Captain [5 PL, 98pts]: Master-crafted boltgun, Relic blade
Captain in Terminator Armor [7 PL, 123pts]: Relic blade, Storm bolter

+ Elites +
Chapter Ancient [4 PL, 76pts]: Power sword
Chapter Champion [4 PL, 64pts]: Boltgun, Power sword

Company Veterans [8 PL, 151pts]
. Space Marine Veteran: Bolt pistol, Meltagun
. Space Marine Veteran: Bolt pistol, Meltagun
. Space Marine Veteran: Power sword, Storm shield
. Space Marine Veteran: Power sword, Storm shield
. Veteran Sergeant: Bolt pistol, Combi-melta

Honour Guard [2 PL, 51pts]
. Honour Guard: Power axe
. Honour Guard: Power maul

Terminator Assault Squad [12 PL, 217pts]
. Terminator Sergeant
. . Thunder Hammer & Storm Shield: Storm shield, Thunder hammer
. 2x Terminator w/THSS: 2x Storm shield, 2x Thunder hammer
. 2x Terminator w/x2LC: 2x Lightning Claw (Pair)

Terminator Squad [12 PL, 232pts]
. Terminator Sergeant: Power sword, Storm bolter
. 2x Terminator w/CF: 2x Chainfist, 2x Storm bolter
. Terminator w/Heavy Weapon: Assault cannon, Power fist
. Terminator w/PF: Power fist, Storm bolter

++ Total: [78 PL, 1490pts] ++

How's this for a 1500pt list (against a non-horde army)? strategy would be all non termies in the LR to get into combat and the termies teleport in. Razorback for some extra firepower or alternative transport for half the non termies.
lore-wise this would be the red scorpions chapter master Verant Ortys and his honor guard in the LR and then some 1st company termies and the 3rd company captain Ainea. (based off of the Red Scorpions assault in siege of vraks book 3)

Attached: 1494434015242.png (307x403, 132K)

12" range.

What do Necrons call humans? meat bags? Iek'nom?

They're actually better in small games than larger games. A hard skew is harder to deal with a lower points.

How many units can they even field in a 1kpts game?

I like big guns, knights and the concept of machines fused with a human mind

Titans for poor?
Big anime mechs without communism?

>BS having anything to do with tech level
Holy fuck the retards are out in full force lately.

>nobody can just enjoy Tau as being the naive galactic newfag who is all "Hey guys what's going on in this galaxy"
>instead it's all MUH TECHNOOLGY MAKES ME INVINCIBLE NUH UH YOU CAN'T HAVE BETTER STUFF THAN ME THAT'S AGAISNT THE RUURS WE ARE TEH BESTEST EVAR!!!!!!!!

This is going to be harsh but sweet Jesus that is terrible. Against anyone even half competent you're going to get demolished. You've got so few models and they're very easy to kill.

Dang kids on my lawn.

closest I can come to playing bretonnia again.

How can they make Vanquishers not fucking terrible?

>tech level so inferior it is incapable of compensaing for noskill
the absolute state of the Tau Empire

No but really, why does his sword say PRIMEBEEF? Is this his name? Is it the sword's name? I need to know more.

Attached: captain_primebeef.png (617x199, 327K)

Dunno really. Just seems like a cool concept.

Attached: b99432da51d5a5a956782e689d4337c7.jpg (1100x900, 213K)

>Why? I heard they are mediocre at best even in small games
It isn't about how good they are. They are literally the antithesis to fun, and the game with be fucking boring to play for your opponent.

Oh, okay. I thought they are low mid-tier both in small and big games. Well, fuck me then - playing such an elite army would be cool but I don't want to end up as THIS guy tho

I enjoy tau being naive newfags
But they are also the greatest innovators currently on the galactic scene. The others are either locked in age old dogmas or have lost their creative spark.

>guardmen have better aim than "high tech" weeb robots

maybe an additional effect to deal mortal wounds to single model units?

The ancient relic-blade P R I M E B E E F is a treasured relic of the Ultramarines dating back to The Great Scouring.

You know I'd be OK with it if gw released some terrain pieces that were parts of destroyed titans.

I field 2 HQs, 6 Troops, 3 Fast attack and an Elite.

So I have quite a few.

Tau haven't made anything new in ages.

Ok so I should go back to the drawing board then and try and spam lighter infantry?

Bruh split your company veterans up.

2-man teams have one sergeant each. Basically free melee attacks, plus that your enemy can't just hose your entire squad but have to divide attacks between multiple units.

Also I don't think I need to tell you this but 1/3 your list is terminators and they don't perform very well. Also Relic blades aren't worth the point cost, and you have two.

Don't get discouraged though.

They're a pretty mid-tier army at the 2k level but at low points they'll be frustrating to play against for most players unless they tailor to deal with them.

Hello fun police get good faggot

This creative spark ended in genicodal war that almost ended entire species, nothing suprising that humanity is no longer trying to create new things if it can end this way.

Just wait for tau drones rebelion

I'd head back, take a look at some units like Aggressors, Hellblasters, Scouts, and look at building set-ups around them.

Cause battletech was cool so dudes was like "let's write some of this cool battletech shit into this 40k thing we're expanding" so they wrote em into 40k in a white dwarf and people, as expected, thought it was cool.

>Shit spelling
How to spot your average mentally undeveloped Tauhater 101.

>no reliable long-range FTL
>no psychic ability
>weaker plasma than any other faction

>the greatest innovators currently on the galactic scene

*laughs in binary*

Attached: 150458349569.jpg (960x535, 68K)

>Why are you building cars with square tires?
>THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY
>Wouldn't round tires be more efficient and faster?
>SPEED KILLS, GET OFF MY LAWN

this is true, but that doesn't mean they're the bestestest evarr. while tau have some seriously crazy tech it's pretty basic compared to anyone else's. based on their exponential technological progression they will logically eventually overtake everyone else if said exponential progression does not stagnate itself.

given that we have a tau sphere that has regressed socially, it's entirely likely that it will. Need I remind you that humanity has invented some seriously crazy shit in the past, and still deploys such technology.
>focusing on a spelling error than the content
how to spot a taufag

What's your favourite knight house and why?

>no reliable long-range FTL

Literally have a 100% safe and non-warp based stargate network now. Suck it gue'la.

>build cars with round wheels
>cars rebels and start war of extermination
>half of galaxy is in ruins

Played in a local 40k tournament today, had 22 folks show up and I managed to take first overall! Pretty excited with today's finish Veeky Forums.

Cawl it took you 10,000 years to stick grav plates on a Rhino. And I'm still not sure why the rest of the AdMechs haven't burnt you for heresy in doing that.

Why are those space marines like 12 foot tall?

No they don't. Their high tech implies that they get
>BS3+
>Reroll 1s to hit
>Ignore cover
>Can move and from re with no penalty
For their basic fire warriors even. Who has a gun that is so hilariously better than the lasgun, that it really just seems unfair to even try comparing them.

lol

Attached: T'au.png (840x304, 85K)

>given that we have a tau sphere that has regressed socially
Are you refering to the sphere who got a plunged headfirst into the deep end of the pool?
Becoming xenophobic in a universe where everything either gets corrupted or just want you dead is not what I call regression. That's progress from their naive juvenile nature into a more mature one

>build round wheels
>dies

are marine players really cucked into buying primaris to be competetive now?
>tfw I cant run a fluffy elite-heavy SM army in 8th without getting tabled

>FTL can only travel to one point in the galaxy
Very fucking usefull, just like this stargate in Jerich reach that nobody but locals care about, because you can travel only to 1 point
