XRB Thread? I'm holding onto raiblocks despite my investment spiraling down the shitter. I believe in the tech and the team, if only they can work out the kinks. I believe this can be a top 5 coin by the middle of 2018. Hodl strong raibros and buy the dip, or in this case the canyon...

holding since 50 cents.

Why marry a coin? there are cheaper coins that are less buggy and do the same thing

Anybody got that gif with xrb/xrp/btc throughput comparison? I need it

Threw $250 at this when it was >$4.00, was travelling for a few days without wifi and when I came back it was $35. After getting a feel for the market, I'm waiting for this to go above $50 before selling.

also better coins that are still underrated like Pascal Coin.

I personally don't invest in "currency" cryptos since I think they're a meme but if I were to get into one now it would be Pascal Coin since it's the only "currency" crypto that can stand against Visa in terms of tech and security (of which rai can do neither).

What makes pascal's "safebox" better than raiblocks "lattice"?
>XRB can process far more than 100 transactions per second
>XRB scales infinitely
>XRB transactions are 100% free
>XRB prevents double spending using "representatives" in the lattice.
My biggest concern is how buggy the early implementation has been and how buggy the wallets seem to be. On the plus side though, every transaction I've done has been 100% processed within 30 seconds and wallet to wallet transfers have been nearly instant.

Okay good, we dont need idiots like to hold our tokens.

it's not so much the safebox vs lattice but blockchain vs DAG. As MIOTA showed us, DAG is easily susceptible to security attacks. On the other hand, as Bitcoin has constantly demonstrated, blockchain tech is fucking amazingly impenetrable.

the wallets don't seem to be buggy, it's just that HDDs are not able to keep up at all

>amazingly impenetrable
You're aware quantum computers are only 10 years away making block chain obsolete right? DAG can actually compensate for this where as block chain can't.

Also don't compare IDIOTA to other DAGs. It's just the most mainstream but clearly overhyped for it's value by its spaz sjw dev

TFW You're just tired of following cryptos and just put all your shit in XRB & ETH

functional large scale quantum computers are as close as cold fusion engine, might as well never be created beyond the prototype phase, and if they do you will have a lot more problems than your precious shitcoins being stolen, literally the whole internet would be vulnerable

That's a solid idea.

Wake up in a year and become a millionaire with 1000 XRBees.

Rather wake up in a few months and become a millionaire with shitcoins while the market is still insanely bull, desu. But to each their own.

Though, I would say it's wayyy safer to go BTC+ETH, 50/50, for long term hodling.

I wouldn't say BTC is safe as it has a giant target on its back and is slowly losing dominance on the market.

I'm gonna take out a payday loan for a lambo downpayment!

It only has a target on its back in the same way Google has a target on its back. Disregarding first mover advantage, it still has insane community support despite its shitty old tech and I can't see that diminishing to the point of being a shitcoin anytime soon, let alone a few years from now. Where as, again, other than ETH, which also has insane community support, any other shitcoin can easily drop down to nothing purely based on how the market "feels". You want to gamble with market feelings far into the future? Don't keep your money in shitcoins, imo.

>XRB can process far more than 100 transactions per second

Why understate it? It can process far more than 5000 a second. It has been tested up to 10,000 a second

Many others are taking notice of Pascal coin on a daily, senpai.

Didn't Bitgrail run only one node for the first few hours of launching their exchange, and passed all traffic through that single node and it held the initial XRB launch for like 4 hours?

Then the dev's stepped in and said 'lol wtf r u doin?' and got them up and running again?

Underappreciated technology. I run a few nodes on digitalocean, costs less than $30 to run at least 5.

Pascal is shit af. Have you installed that garbage?

Same here kek

I'm not saying holding Bitcoin is bad but for a long term hold you need something undervalued. Would you say BTC is undervalued right now? And a lot of shitcoins outperform BTC if you look from holding a year ago. Also the Bitcoin community other than old guards is just normie money and would run away from the sight of a real crash. They aren't looking to research investments they just want to make a quick buck. You would be better off putting %100 into ETH.

haha yup - speaks to the tech, and at the same time the crappiness of bitgrail

Sure sure top 10 within 3 months.

if that little walls falls on bitgrail we're mooning. I predict a double btc and xrb moon, xrb to $120
