Is LINK the sure thing of 2018 like ETH was last year? >strong fundamentals that'll change the game if successful >cool geometric logo >still undervalued and under most people's radars >developed by a russian autist >working with big companies like SWIFT, Microsoft, AXA and Sony >/ourcoin/
The similarities are all there I mean, only a blind man couldn't see what's about to happen
Once any REAL volume comes, which ChainLink has not once seen yet, it will truly *begin* to explode. Just like Ethereum. Do yourselves a favor and just have patience this one time in your life. Even if we're all wrong and it fails, it's one of those situations where the reward outweighs the risk by a large margin.
Christian Martin
If you want to get rich literally just hold LINK, REQ and ICX.
Jaxson Williams
Yeah, we know this for months.
Ayden Nelson
>400M Marketcap >undervalued >ripple
Cameron Gutierrez
The implications alone should put this coin to a 5-10 bil. mcap. The last weeks I'm just wondering why this coin is still so undervalued. Thank god for the ridiciously low price it is right now and accumulate everything you can.
Nathaniel Parker

Ethan Sullivan
what do you think it could reach EOY? I keep saying to myself that I'll wait for the next dip but don't want to fomo in what do?
Brayden Peterson
I think it's because almost no one new to this space realizes how revolutionary smart contracts are and how CL is the only way, as of now at least, that they will be able to be used off-chain, thus having any real use case.
Ayden Wilson
You forgot 0x
Wyatt Williams
This in combination with Sergey actively trying to keep a low profile and reddit instantly dismissing it as a Veeky Forums-meme IMO.
Charles Rogers
Yes.
Ethan Murphy
2017 >I didn't buy ETH cheap because I was waiting for it to dip to $2 again
2018 >I didn't buy chainlink cheap because I was waiting for it to dip sub $1
Buy now or get left behind
Parker Taylor
My love for ICX just keeps growing
Luke Russell
Its exactly the same deal. i didn't listen to the autists then, but i sure as fuck listened now.
I could have been rich if i just actually paid attention to the ETH shills and did my own research
Henry Mitchell
More likely its DGB 2.0. Oh wait, 90% of /nubiz/ doesn't know about DBG.
Samuel Kelly
AXA??
Please give source or more details. I work at axa and gonna drop the whitepaper on my bosses desk saying it's gonna change the derivatives market.
Gabriel Collins
The Sibos PoC was a Contract set up between AXA and Sony.

Yes, it's the definition of an inevitability I don't chase the market anymore and have 'retired' to LINK
my portfolio for the year is gonna be 80% eth 20% link and not gonna look at anything till december
Connor Brooks
Eth never was a sure thing we would have a lot more millionaires here People talked down on eth like they talk down on link But will link succeed as eth did? Nobody can tell
Blake Stewart
Link >real use coin that solves the Oracle problem, no real competition
DGB >Bitcoin, but better! Also never recovered after it's first PnD
No user, youre the newfag
Xavier White
Thanks lads. Just seen the signatories on smartcontract dot com.
I don't work for the parent company (insurance) but we do a lot of derivatives - hence my interest in link.
Josiah Butler
My post was just some random user obviously, but there's an official AXA post out there that actually says that Fizzy is using an in-house oracle (though it doesn't say they are thinking of changing). So the anons post kind of makes sense since decentralization would be stronger and they probably don't want to enter the oracle making business.
Jose Harris
I think LINK and REQ are still at amazing positions to buy in at for long-term holds. I just wish I got accumulated more.
Luis Carter
It could be at $5 EOY for all I know, but I know when it's time comes, it will be worth the wait.
Tyler Collins
Will I make it with 20k REQ?
Ryder Martinez

Didn't DGB pump like 1000x? I mean shit I hope it's the next digibyte. Shit look at the chart at the moment, it'd down but compared to where it started it's pretty fucking significant. I'll baghold for a few months for a 1000x, no problem
Ryder Brown
Is the bottom right ZRX? If not, I am fucked.
Josiah Morgan
it may as well be, I just don't have that meme yet. What if I told you the triforce was actually 3 dimensional
Nolan Taylor
This will be the video I will return to at every dip, and just imagine the enemy to be the new flavour of the month/quarter
This will either be the most legendary underdog story in the crypto market, or the biggest kek. Either way, it will be a fun ride. Last two digits is EOY $ price. I reckon $50-65
Ryder Howard
It's Quantstamp. After LINK/REQ, there's a bunch of tokens/coins that fit into the third place.
Quantstamp 0x iExec Kyber Network ICX
So your ZRX is a decent third choice.
Christian Cruz
Can someone, once and for all, IN LAYMEN TERMS, explain the Oracle Problem and why its a significant thing?
Jacob Clark
Will Link be available on more exchanges in the near future?
Liam Nguyen
Accidental quoting dont mind.

ZRX is a good choice but no the one in the pic is quantstamp

In order for smart contracts to be viable you MUST be able to trust that the data being fed into it is true. That's the problem chainlink solves.
Almost certainly yes, but the team absolutely refuses to comment on it. Sergey follows only one exchange, Poloniex, so it's likely that will happen at some point. That said, binance is pretty good now and has the most volume so it's a good choice.
Kayden Phillips
When did you stinky linkies get so tasteful
Cooper Scott
Anything shilled heavily on Veeky Forums do the opposite of.
Brayden Evans
Not just that. But the nodes will allow for trustless smartcontracts, which ensures that the terms of the contract is executed exactly as stated.
Decentralized oracles is what keeps the financial world from utilizing smartcontracts in the first place. When a centralized oracle can fuck you over, the whole point of smartcontracts evaporates.
Josiah Sanchez
Hashflare is the easiest site to cloud mine ETH out there, i've started last week and it's working just fine. Buy Scrypt, SHA-256, ETHASH, EQUIHASH hashrates with any Debit Card, and you are good to go !
Thanks, saved. I bought ZRX because I thought the protocol seemed interesting.
What do you think the chances are of any of the 7 being added to Coinbase?
Was there a thread about the `patricians choice'?
Nathan Bailey
oh lawd!!
kek'd so much

My Chainlink holdings turned into ~$50k. I'm all in and intend to keep it like 90% chainlink, but I'm thinking of dumping a few thousand into something else, maybe SophiaTX or Lamden. Are those a good idea? I like the other picks in this thread and the triforce but those already have such high market caps...
Nathaniel Anderson
Ethereum and Bitcoin were shilled heavily on biz, google the archives and you'll see why you need to be all in on Link atm

Oracles gather information for smart contracts. Right now oracles are typically centralized third parties. Chainlink wishes to bridge all required information through a decentralized oracle network, thereby solving a point of failure for all smart contracts.
Zachary Perez
That's how I missed the ODN moon..
Never again.

>SophiaTX or Lamden
Just go to some crypto casino instead. Your odds are better there.
If you want in on a legit project with a semi-low marketcap, just look towards iExec.
Hudson Johnson
If you're going for that approach, always good to have some optionality, unless you're dollar cost averaging with more fiat. Why not a mix of some high-risk low mc, and some ETH in case a promising ICO comes along or the flippening happens
Jayden Kelly
I swear to god shit like this will lead to mistrust of firms into chainlink you know what happens when a firm get associated with Veeky Forums. I'm really curious about what Sergey thinks if he read all the bullshit about him and his firm.
Even if he thought philanrophic in the beginning to give some neets the chance to make some serious money. I'm sure he will not like all the bullshit and may re-brand the mainnet on order to get of the Veeky Forums pairing
Christian Hernandez
people made 10x+ on DGB. If you bought early you'd still be up by loads
Brody Stewart
Sergey is trying to keep a low profile but these fucking Veeky Forums autists just can't let go of him
Joseph Carter
smart contracts are functionally cucked if they have no way to bring in data from the outside world onto the blockchain. there is one way to bring in that data, and that is an "oracle". an oracle is middleware between the blockchain and the outside world.
the "oracle problem" is how can we trust an oracle is providing correct data to a smart contract? chainlink solved this by decentralizing the oracles; where consensus had to be reached between the many oracles on a certain data point, so the smart contract can be certain the information it is recieving is correct. correct data (aka 51% of nodes agreeing) means those nodes get paid a fee in LINK and the nodes that provided the wrong data get paid nothing (or even banned/fined from the network).
so now if i code a smart contract that needs to know the price of google stock at midday on monday, and i get 200 oracles telling me its $273.00 per and 10 oracles telling me its $3.50, i can be pretty sure its $273.00.
Jordan Wright
Accessing Off-Chain data requires an Oracle to translate this data into a "Language" the Chain understands. This oracle needs to be trusted to deliver the right data. THIS is the oracle problem. Chainlink solves it by using a network of decentralized oracles and reaching a consensus among them ( very simplified obviously)
Aaron Turner
convince me to halve my btc position and buy more LINK pls

I just read about elf. I might need to fork some of my links to get in on that.

Zachary Fisher
where can i buy chainlink coin?
Ethan Nelson
But Vitalik is already a known pedo, so association with an anime forum cannot hurt him
Jaxon Young
You're gonna hate my whites only node then.
Ethan Kelly
So i didn't fuck up by buying at 00105 ETH? Its going back up soon, right?
how is chainlink exactly linking offchain data and smartcontracts? i mean software wise. i know its an oracle, but how does it technically connect each other?
Sebastian Williams
the eth pair just got fucked because of eth mooning. It'll be fine.
Landon Sanders
Seriously man, if anyone is too brainlet to not get what ChainLink does and how big it will be, they don't deserve it. This place is infested with greedy and impatient newfags and I hope they go all in onto a pump and dump.
Adrian Sanchez
How the fuck have I not seen this. Love you faggots.

I'm hodling like 6 coins ATM in addition to chainlink, half of them have already mooned and given me nice profits, strongly considering just dumping them all into chainlink and waiting.
