If it does, quickly use ease recovery to clone to a new drive.

if you didn't back up those wallets in this day and age you deserve to lose them

Pour salt over it, let it suck in the moisture for 3mins and swipe the hd with magnet. This should pull the salt out

Yeah, you need to get with the times and use an ssd. They are water proof. I keep mine in the fish tank.
