No. That's not what LINK is used for. LINK is used to pay node operators for good data and punish them for bad data. How much LINK is worth doesn't matter because it's divisible to the 18th decimal. As the price of LINK goes up, the node operators will be paid less in LINK but it'll be the same amount as in $.
