get a jag

Get an acoustic like Maton or Cole Clarke

I wanna get something with a fixed bridge

>cash out
Why? 2K will be 4K in 2 weeks...

You can get an American Tele used for 600 bucks. If you want to spend 2k, buy a Suhr.

Because I want a new guitar?

youll have to get a tube amp too

i'd get a duosonic
shop.fender.com/en-US/electric-guitars/duo-sonic/duo-sonic-hs/product-014402.html

it's basically a mustang with humbuckers. i play a mustang and i love the fucking thing, but i piad 700+ for mine. and it just has single coils

Why would you ask us? Make your own decision fuckwit. Ask in /mu/ if anywhere.

Then fucking buy the guitar, holy shit get the fuck off this board and make your own decisions.

cool guitar user

no because you hve to cash out 3k , as you will have to pay 1k tax.

plus that 3k will one day be 300k. you will be able to buy 150 telecasters.

good luck and godspeed

I'm factoring a Bassbreaker 007 into the $2k price ;)

tele is a war horse good choice

NORMIE FUCK OFF

also you don't have the "floating" bridge on this if it's not your thing.
i know a lot of people don't like it on the mustang.

If you can do it comfortably go ahead, if not then you're an absolute fucking idiot.

DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY user! MONEY ISNT EVERYTHING, ENJOY A LITTLE WILL YA CUNT

I wouldn't pay for the brand or the tele shape either, it's just two single coil pickups. With electrics the materials don't matter either so don't fall for the tone wood bullshit.

Get a strat instead

NO - but you should cash out 2k and build yourself a FrankenTELE! Buy the parts you want and assemble or have your local luthier assemble for you.

Good idea honestly, thank you

Go for it OP. If the market collapses at least you have something to show for it.

I cashed out and Bought a new PC and a HTC Vive.

Prs

Get a Les Paul dude

Guitars are actually good long term investments, so yea, go for it.

Ibanez RG series.

lol the shit tier quality of guitar advice has convinced me to believe the same about this boards crypto advice

>Guitars are actually good long term investments

nah. They maintain their value better than a lot of stuff, but hardly an investment. You should buy a guitar you want to keep forever anyway. Not everything is about making money.

You thought the Crypto advice here was good?

Don't be a fag and buy a 12 strings accoustic

brutal

play guitar and bass. i've always wanted a Rickenbacker bass but i'm not even sure it would be worth the price tag

I had my doubts, but the magnitude just got clearer when reading these posts. When you see it in a different context its more evident. Poor fanboy reasoning deriving from marketing and recommending what you yourself got

Have a look on Reverb for good condition used ones. You can save quite a bit as teles are very common and they depreciate some unless they're a particularly rare version.

>user offers more shit tier advice

For tuners most people are going to say to get locking Schaller or Sperzel, if you're into the vintage thing look into (authentic) Kluson Deluxes.

Bridges people will generally say go cold-rolled steel, but I'm a sucker for the warm of a vintage brass bridge (if like bright tone checkout titanium options)

...

G&L ASAT all the way for tele

how are you guys suggesting duosonics and mustangs?

Do you guys even play?

Not sure if OP even plays, but hes asking about getting a tele, and you guys are suggesting novelty guitars

dont get me wrong, mustangs are neat but its a fucking novelty

unless you are some numale in a hole cover band, if so KYS

shelton. fucking. galaxyflite.

this thing will smoke any jazzmaster or telecaster under 5K

me too man, someone local had a Ric 4003 bass on craigslist for $1400 or ETH/ BTC/ LTC equiv.. i didnt feel like giving up any crypto yet, but i always wanted a Ric bass.

Yea but OP asked about taking money out of crypto so thought it would be best to say it isn't a bad investment either.
Buy a fender or gibson and it will appreciate over time. I'll probably never sell any of my guitars. Oldest is a 72 tele.

i got that exact guitar color and everything

>appreciate over time

Lol, no. Not unless theyre from specific years like 69’ for example

>appreciate over time

>Lol, no.

lol yes

no

Give yourself a little present every day. If you want a guitar today buy a guitar today.

where is the other 1k going?

I'm a poorfag who's investing in crypto just for a chance to buy one of these.

Shit, I love the sound. One of my bass player used to have that one.

>buying the audio jew

better idea: hold that and buy 3 in 6 months

Yes, so you can be like J Mascis
youtube.com/watch?v=dLIPTOUH51I

Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 or go home

>with electrics the materials don't matter
Not another one of you fuckers...

I've always wanted a telecaster. Check out the Fender "Road Worn" series of guitars, they're pretty sick.

That’s a lot of money for a Tele, user.
